If only I could describe the feeling I get when I listen to this song... The closest I can get is that it takes lyrical and musical form the hole in me that never fills...and the noise in my head that never lets me rest.
This video is brilliant psychological art! I recognize that Janine symbolizes the mind and Chris the inner self / consciousness. Chris sitting in the water - consciousness is like an iceberg.
You see how the mind (Janine) during the course of the video will put to rest - and dies. Water symbolizes emotions. We see the relationship between self and the mind (Chris and Janine)

tbh, when Chris took this video down a few days ago I was very upset and freaked out. This is the only song that calms me when everything is falling apart, when I mentally cannot handle the switches of my sporadic mind. I'm very grateful this song is back up 💚

I haven't listened to anything of his work beside the first two albums, but I think this is going to be the song that grips me and makes me dive further into it.
Also, not to sound shallow, but I love both of his outfits here, especially the green ensemble.

The video is perfect. The lifelong daily struggle to shut up our screaming , talking, repetitive minds. And when you can finally meditate and quiet your mind.... you might feel some peace.
If I were a therapist I would prescribe this song to anyone with anxiety, over actual meds any day. At least over dosing on music won't kill you.

I have anxiety. Anytime I am anxious I listen to Chris' music. It does wonders. He is, as a artist my self, a muse.
I think it was interesting listening to his own input of this song. I recall him saying that it's a message to himself. He's had insomnia for years, is often stressed, and not to mention anxiety himself. It's a good message to anyone with nerve or any kind of other problems.

Both this song and Unified Field are amazing and dreamy. Not to mention refreshing. They have me more excited about IAMX than i have been since i first discovered them. Its not that Volatile Times wasnt good, its just that it was more or less the same ole same ole. This new album will be a rejuvination for Corner.
