To give you some perspective, I'm 47....I've been gaming for 43 years, there's barely a platform or franchise or hit I haven't at some point played. Yet here I am on YT watching trailer reactions to what I consider to be the greatest video game of all time. Once you realise when you start there's absolutely no hand holding, they tell you the basics and then let you loose in the most grounded, morally diverse world ever created with the most relatable, imperfect, and virtuous protagonist I've ever had the pleasure to interact with. It is an undisputed masterpiece of storytelling and character development ever created. You will love it.
Geralt tells her to close her eyes, because he doesn't want to traumatize her even more 🥺 It's my absolute favorite moment of this trailer 😍 * insert fangirl swoon here * 😆 I don't want to spoil too much, but I will say that the way Witchers become Witchers is...pretty brutal. And they all as individuals deal with that in their own way. Geralt's capacity for compassion and desire for justice (in that larger, moral sense. Not necessarily the official, legal sense) seem to be increased, as a result of the whole...ordeal. Which, of course, he would NEVER fully admit to 😆
Notice the girl is smiling. And given the theme of morally grey choices and characters in the game. It's possible the girl is guilty. What I like about the witcher is it's rarely how it looks surface level.
Your reaction made my day better 😊 being a huge fan of witcher series. I highly recommend you to play this game even if it’s 7 years old, it’s graphics are still unmatched by some of the recent games. Although, this is a magical and fantasy genre, the world and the people in it feel so real and are relatable to our daily lives and problems. That’s what I like about it. Hope you play and enjoy this gem of a masterpiece 👍🏻
@@zireaelnxp4112 Obviously one can relate no? Couples quarreling and fighting, Politicians sucking up poor people’s blood and money and livelihoods. Human ego, rage, hatred, hunger for power spoiling the earth’s ecosystem. Love hate relationships, Father daughter bondings, Mother son stories, Parents children problems, Some sensical light hearted humor hear and there - now and then. Hanging out with friends. People pissing off about other people. Tell me good sir, what’s not to relate our world with the world of Witcher? You mean monsters? - common that’s hardly even the main point of focus of the witcher world..
I'm an avid Witcher fan and I've logged over 1300 hours of this game and still play it all this time later. It's considered a Masterpiece in the gaming world, it's one of the most awarded games and still has a major following!
Love Witcher 3 especially after next gen update the world looks so good. Funny thing that i like more killing humans like bandits etc. than the monsters. Fight with 30+ armed humans so much fun. Good that they dont run away after you kill more than half.
He stabs under the arm so the guy can't use it(heavy damage to the armpit causes loss of some function of the arm or function entirely), then the neck is the killshot
Witchers carry two swords. One is of standard steel, the other a steel core coated in silver. Laypeople say "One's for men, the other's for monsters." Witchers reply "They're both for monsters. Some monsters are just men."
For me, The Witcher 3 is one of the best story-oriented video game I have ever played. Very highly recommended if you haven't played it yet. Although if you missed the first 2 video game and also didn't read any of the books or watched the TV series, the game can be a little bit overwhelming with all the characters and events it introduces. I recommend to watch at least the TV series so you will know some backstory for some of the main side characters in the game.
I hope you noticed that Geralt was prepared to ride away until the head thug said "get the hammer". He was prepared to let them hang her, but not torture her.
Well if they were just hanging her for the crimes she was accused of and doing so in a properly somber and official way then for all he knew she was guilty and justice was being served. The judgment of those who torture prisoners cannot be trusted, and he couldn't let her hang if she was innocent.
Stabbing someone in the left armpit like that severs the aortic artery. Person will bleed out in seconds. plus the shock incapacitates them. You do need a fairly long and heavy knife though
I hope you delved into the world of The Witcher, it is worth the attention of anyone who wants to listen to an interesting story from another country. This dark atmosphere isn`t accidental, it has a lot in common with the Polish point of view and perception of reality. If you are curious about the Slavic culture of a certain group of European countries... I recommend this story. It is something more than someone's imagination, there is a lot here taken from Polish myths, legends, fairy tales... and it's not for kids.
i couldn't recommend this game more! it is amazingly done, and if you want some lore context, there are some excellent videos out there, summing up the books, the first two games, the world, the kingdoms and factions, the races, the lore in general. if that still feels like not enough, and you're absolutely hooked by this fantasy world, then it would be best to read the books. sorry, but i can only recommend watching the first season of the netflix show, just because of how good cavill is as the witcher, and the fact that they only deviate slightly from the lore. however, the second season...well, let me put it like this, if you enjoy the game, not only will it not add anything to the lore, but it will contradict the books and games lore, and also it's own animated series lore, so, make of that what you will.
This game is about to get a free update for next-gen customers of the original game (not you, obviously) They needn't have bothered - it's the perfect game. I don't think ray-tracing and a "Henry Cavill" face will add that much. A beautiful game with superb characters across the board, interstellar voice acting, direction and music. and the best DLC of all time .. both worthy of being called a seperate game. The scenery is amazing, no matter what time of day or night. (the game has its own weather and day/night cycles)
kick the bucket.... ma'am she is sentenced for cannibalism among other crimes. The theme of The Witcher is decisions and consequences between lesser and greater evil and who you will be in that situation. On the surface you see 4 grunts torturing a woman... but then you realize they executed an order. The moral here is not "kick the bucket".
A peasant in a war torn country maybe commit cannibalism, but not out sadism in a Dahmer style lmao. Torturing her for fun was what made Geralt snap, not the execution itself.
He only looks like that when using witcher potions. He wasn't gonna waste a potion to fight such thugs. He told her to close her eyes because the way witchers fight and kill is extremely bloody and scary. That's just their fighting style. It's not pretty - but it's deadly.
under the arms :D you have an artery in your armpit, if you cut it you bleed out within 3/5 min...... . I love Witcher, books, games i think is realy interesting universe.
He was ok with them hanging her. The moment they started talking about torture tho... If you pay attention to the charges, she probably killed a wounded soldier and loot the corpse, then eat it. They are in a war torn territory, so it was probably out of desperation.
Play the game, read the books they're fantastic but don't watch the show! The creators of it said that they didn't like the source materials and the games and thought they could do it better and just screwed everything over.
Don't know if you've watched the Netflix show The Witcher, but if you haven't you really should. Hardcore books and game fans may say not to bother because the show has changed some of the storyline, but it's really a great show. Henry Cavill ( Superman ) IS Geralt.

- Witchers carry two swords. One for humans and one for monsters.
- They are both for monsters.
lol i love that his friends make fun of him during the game for line killing monsters.
Yeah, when he and Lambert are off to the circle of elements
Notice how geralt was going to let it go but they decided to torture her and that’s when he decided he had seen enough

You probably did see it but not reacted in this. There's more in the video after the witcher title. Careful not to end video reactions too early ;)
He said close your eyes because one of his abilities makes him look like a monster to terrify the people hes fighting.
no, just because he will kill people. You should grown some empaty.
Also because he's kinda like a white knight, he tries to aid and help women, and children
I heard that in one book Geralt helped and the girl which was saved threw up because of what she had seen 🤣)))

Hi lovely! Please react to all assassins creed trailers 😍 the newest one just arrived!
it seems no girl its a really really really good game. but if you really gonna get amazed by trailers check the assassin´s creed ones,
Check out League of Legends' Cinematic "As we fall" - you might like it! :)
Give us a CGI series instead of live action show
Will never understand this part. If she is guilty of all of those things definitely cannibalism then why did Geralt save her??

I recommend The last stand of gunslinger. It's a video a fan favourite character in Destiny franchise.
