Thank you Simon, I really like your videos, fantastic. The only thing I do not understand is why your follower count is not much, much larger. Thank you again, Mark

:) The world as imbued with meaning.. sounds like direct access to wonder. Cultivation of deep joy also.

Rupert, the oneness comes because all emerge from quantum foam. The idea that we feel good sometimes is best explained by the fact that we evolved driven by fear and happiness. We also share those emotions in a collective psyche. This sounds like religion. Take my word for it sort of stuff.

Just get to know the ether, and start from there.
It is in between subject object, and illuminates them.
I.e. that what you dont see, is bringing forth that what you see.
And it has a hughe energetic density (planck) which can collapse in any possibility when disturbed. From wave to matter. Quantum.

The title says how to dismantle materialism but then he just says we all agree there’s no physical world. No argument, just assertion 😢

Dr Kastrup has all the arguments on his website

    Gospel of Thomas:
    (29) Jesus said, "If the flesh came into being because of spirit, it is a wonder. But if spirit came into being because of the body, it is a wonder of wonders. Indeed, I am amazed at how this great wealth has made its home in this poverty."
The Renaissance philosopher Plato said much the same in his parable of the cave.

I don’t know if I agree with this🤔 It seems to me there is only the Light of Consciousness and the world appears in it but the world is neither real or unreal, because these notions come from the subject (awareness).

This is just another religion dressing itself in science terms. To consider that consciousness is the basis for all physical existence is just another way to put oneself as the center of this universe. Like it's here for us or because of us. His is a good thinking mind that is not open minded. He's looking for god.

“No idea has existence, because none is capable of embodiment “: “Nothing at all is justified by being “, Max Stirner,1844/2017 Landstreicher translation. Further: “The Final Theory: Rethinking Our Scientific Legacy “, Mark McCutcheon for proper physics including the CAUSE of gravity, electricity, magnetism, light and well..... everything. Not for children.

This is a fabulous talk. My comment is for Simon, re: video editing. Since Rupert is the only one speaking, it would be better If he took up 2/3 of the screen with you two one above the other on the right third. This is especially so when, near the end, Rupert is completely obliterated - while still speaking - by a prompt for the next video. Great talk, but (sorry), sloppy and disrespectoful editing. I say this with gratitude for your work.

He’s using Spinoza-like arguments about being and reality…but Spinoza doesn’t deny there is a physical world.

Yaeh, If We know by experience that We are Eternal,
We can recognize if others also have this experience.
    it is a major mile-stone.
There is only two possible, We know, or We dont know,
Rupert surely Know, it is in it self a simple fact,
but to explain how the Eternal Life perform reality,
needs a deeper and more extensive study.
Even the logic in his example, with movie, it became mystic,
Simon and Bernardo is not materialists, but I dont think
    they got much wiser.
The over-use of 'starter', is dictated by Windows starter,
'non-dual' is a empty mantra, and 'awareness' is another
    word for the 'Day-Consciousness'.
All experiences is Feeling-Experience first hand,
    Contrast-Princip and Perspective-Princip make Feeling
into Sensing. Sensing-organs Sensing and Sensed reality,
    is all Motion.
It is the Same I. as We all refer to, Rupert know this,
but, confuse it with awareness and Consciousness.
Intuition is the Ability to See, behind Stuff-side, (Motion)
Intelligence, is the Ability to analyse = Logic and Order.
So, the dismantling was not fully succesful.

the apering it self is so mystic - only the truth behind is pure existence - really a bit boring
