Keep in mind, this was designed for the Japanese mini cars known as Kei cars. That's why it is the dimensions it is. It fits the entire space of the rear of a kei car. The smaller the vehicle, the better it sounds!!! Thanks for the vid!
Ive got this installed in my polo, and I’m very impressed! And it goes low! Put it on ‘Deep’ full gain about 80hz and it’s decent! Dynamic for a more punchy tight bass which is louder. I prefer the soft ‘Deep’ mode for most songs, but anything for EDM, then ‘Dynamic’ for sure
Purchased the Euro product cousin, the TS-WX77A years ago for a MY98 Porsche 911 (993) coupe application. .. Works very well installed in the coupes back seat location: with the seat backs lowered. The enclosure rests face down, side to side, has only a 2.3/4" height and easily removed if rear seats are needed. The Porsche's head unit is the Pioneer P99RS, a top of the line head unit.
Ah I read the comments, some of them are from young people who believe they understand car audio when they don't, not even a little bit. Then I see Five Star point two truck owners to some horrible prefab boxes for their trucks. Basically telling people it's not worth $500. Then what is good bass that isn't overbearing all the time making other forms of music sound terrible for less than $500? The kids will all say some mini amp, prefab box for a 12" sub and some other nonsense. If the idea is to out run the next person with your system this isn't for you, shut your mouth and don't comment. Again this product isn't for you. But Five Star c'mon, this thing sounds good, it won't pound the ground but then again you won't be pounding any ground and sound good doing it for less than $1,000 anyway.

I'm at a lost. Please hear me out. I purchased a Pioneer TS-WX1210A. A powered subwoofer. 1300 W max, NOM 350 W. The suplied wire harness has a 12 gauge wire set. I'm hooking it up to the Pioneer AVIC W 8500 head unit. I called Best Buy and Crutchfield and they both told me I need at least an 8 gauge wire, but to me that makes no sense if the supplied wire harness has 12 gauge wires for power, ground, RCA's and remote. Please help steer me in the right direction. It also has a 20 amp fuse that goes with it. I'm thinking that 20 amp fuse can hook into the fuse box instead of the battery.
The smallest power kit most places sell is an 8 awg. So you need an 8 awg with there logic. If it came with the power wire use it, it will work fine. Go to the battery!!! Not the fuse box.
I always like having a separate amp and sub. That way if I need the space I simply can unplug the sub. I would need a quick disconnect, smaller box and something that doesn't scream steal me from those looking inside the windows. Why not a 8" JL microsub and small mono amp?

Wondering if I should even bother with the hassle(it's a good deal of effort and time for me away from my family) to install this 9601 and not use the sub channel on the 9605. Do you think the 800RMS will be the ticket to improved output vs what the 9605 (600watt)is doing? The 9601 only cost me $125 but I will need additional time and supplies to run a 2nd amp when my first one is nice and clean.

What settings should I use in the menu, or how should I determine those settings? If I do use the wired remote, what settings should I use in the subwoofer menu for gain, level, phase, slope, LPF frequency, EQ, etc., to be compatible with the remote?

I don't know man, I would stay away from this... In order to save space there are much better options. Slim Rockford Fosgate P3S 1X12 in a ported box. Or even Power series for that matter. It is still much smaller, more neat, and adding a separate mini amp gives flexibility on future applications... Loved the video, hated the product.

I also carry alot of tools under my truck seats too will the sub hold up with alot of daily equipment on top of the amp and What is the price range about?? and are the subs orderable and replacable if they ever DO decide to blow?
I have a Cadillac XLR a with stock Bose system. I like the stock sound but it needs a a bit more bass when the top is down. Just a little. Would you say that this unit sounds clean in person? Would it be perfect to add to my almost complete Bose system? I like that i would still have a little space with the top down and the idea of it being hard to blow the speakers.
Its about airflow, you know the reason why sub boxes are a thing, its not just the unit itself, its the whole body around it too that helps making the sub deliver better base

we sell them at my car audio shop that I work at and that thing sucks we sent them all back cuz they were not worth what they wanted for them and the bass sucks
