  • In this episode, Fred Krueger reflects on his initial experience of purchasing bitcoin on Mt. Gox and subsequently selling it on Mt. Gox. He dives into detailed explanations of both the Stock-to-Flow (S2F) and power law models, offering his insights on whether the bitcoin power law model should be regarded as a mathematical law or just a pattern. Finally, he discusses potential factors that could disrupt the power law model and addresses the notion proposed by Michael Saylor that all models are broken.

    If you can’t talk about your bitcoin wealth with your financial advisor, it might be time to find a new advisor. Check out Sound Advisory at thesoundadvisory.com.

    Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2024 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

    • @KaurKhangura
      @KaurKhangura 9 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder

      The truth is that this is really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It requires a certain level of diligence, no doubt, which is something ordinary investors lack, and so a financial advisor often comes in very handy. My friend just pulled in more than $84k last month alone from his investment with his advisor. That is how people are able to make such huge profits in the market

      Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with ‘’Colleen Rose Mccaffery” for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.

    I went back and forth with livera about the power law, he kept saying "how's it useful?" He was missing the universal element to power laws, it's not just applied math attempting to measure a random asset. I also spent some emails with What Bitcoin Did podcast trying to get Giovanni as a guest 2 months ago to no avail and thats why I was EXTREMELY impressed when Fred gave him airtime!!!...
    this thing is completely underrated... all these Podcasters have no issue putting rational root or plan B on their show (maybe why they're gun shy now) but Giovannis spiral chart based on the power law is even more symmetrical than rational roots chart... I don't understand their resistance to experienced physicists modeling BTC with advanced mathematics???

      Agreed. Moonboys hate this model, but to me, it's the most rational and sobering. Sure, there will be deviations but it'll revert to the mean .

    I want to say that the point where Fred and I disagree is that the Power Law Theory doesn't allow us to trade with this knowledge. It does. Because even by looking at the deviations alone you can do DCA that beats normal DCA by factor of 10 or more. Study the Power Law theory to understand how is possible.

    S2F came out in 2019 just after my reddit post on the power law. Given S2F is based on a power law (fake one) between Price and S2F I don't think it is a coincidence.

    You argue without basis. Why do you do that? Did you look at the on-chain data? No. There is no correlation at all between issuance and price. Can we stop making random statement and looking at the data? The data is publicly available. I spent hours making video showing the evidence.
    There is no relationship between issuance and price. Period.

I hold BCH because it can be Peer-to-Peer money for the world on L1 and BTC with 5 tps on L1 and small blocks I see as Digital Dog Shit, slow, expensive to use and price pumped like a Ponzi

    Litecoin is the similar house right across the street from Bitcoin, unfortunately a sickly skunk died in that house and the stench of Charlie Lee dumping his coins on would-be believers will never vacate that house and never be forgotten by anyone in the Crypto community. It will stink forever and be a reminder of why Satoshi disappeared.
