(For those that are curious about the wait time after the initial information gathering period (ours is around 24-48 hrs) it’s not only to give any owners time to find the dog (many of which they contact don’t want the animal back according to our shelter) but time to complete any medical evaluations/treatment, spay or neuter, complete personality tests to to make sure they’re a good candidate for adoption and time for potential new owners to bring the pets they already have in for a meet-n-greet.)

I love how after adoption she jumps and bounces like a bunny 🐰. She’s absolutely a keeper. Love this ❤.
She is a spunky sassy beautiful tiny thing. So lucky to have found eachother!
My heart goes out to the people who run shelters bc that’s a tough and often heartbreaking job. I understand here they were trying to make sure that every dog got a good home. But it really is ridiculous they had to wait that long. Adoption is top priority. If you put too many boundaries up dogs aren’t gonna get owners. You need to make sure the process can be easy and fast.
Thanks for the love and taking care of that little dog, beautiful man. GOVERNMENT IS NOT OUR FRIEND

@@JamieM470 you are 100% correct. Thank you for your comment

You are nuts. Who do you think rescued all those abused dogs. They took good care of her. MAGAidiots.

Best find at a dollar store ever!!
I had to take a seat; the little angel melted me so bad. Dogs are the closest things to angels we have on earth.
An adorable, sweet little dog found the perfect, kind-hearted man. Thank you for saving this little girl. 🥰🥰
Aww, Dolly from Dollar General! She hit the jackpot with her new Dad Ray❤️

You have been blessed your dog will give you unconditional love and loyalty.
Thanks to that man for his resilience through the process and for loving her! I already got two dogs, but I hope in the future and I can rescue some more.

The best store find ever. ❤
So Happy you found your little Angel ❤😊
That would’ve been an easy decision for me. That is the sweetest pup, just freaking adorable.
Good man!
Aww....She's so beautiful. 😍🐾 I'm so glad he rescued and adopted her. 😊❤
Thank you so very much 😊❤ God Bless 🙌 ❤️ 🙏
This is proof that great things can be found at the Dollar Store❤😊🐕
Now I know that if I am ever so lucky to find a sweetie somewhere, I would never call animal control. God❤ bless you for keeping her! You found yourself a treasure! ❤❤
Not calling animal control means her rightful owners might not Ever find her. That's cruel. She could've slipped out and they're desperate to locate her.
That's terrible what she had to go through. You'd think they would've been happy for a volunteer foster home. Glad you saved her!
So happy to see this,it was mea t to be.. now you both can be happy...❤
What a beautiful story. Thank you for being so patient. She looks like she’s the most wonderful best buddy you could find. Spoil her rotten!🥰😍❤️
They should have scanned her for a chip, kept her for a week to see if anybody was looking for her and, if not, simply said, „She’s yours!“
Absolutely beautiful ❤️💕❣️. I have 2 Dolly's at home and they're the best 😂.
The jumping run towards the end of the video....now THATS pure doggie-joy 🥰🥺❤
I knew the second he had her in his cart and was speechless that he was going to end up adopting her❤. So sweet!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The fact that animal control couldn’t make it the night you found her was a sign to take her home
Lots of clips like this make my eyes well up, but this one, just seeing her happy in spite of her situation... And us humans getting miserable from a paper cut ... A lot to learn from her and other animals in dire conditions but still soldiering on. Little angels on earth.
Soo heartwarming!
Aww what a sweet story in the end 🥲 May God pour many blessings on you Ray for saving sweet Dolly.
What a Great Doggy Dad and one Blessed Pooch!
That is SO nice!!!
She is a very smart girl! She found her furever home.
Thank you for your kindness and compassion. Faith in humanity restored. 👍
Are a excellent human to take an angel. Bless you a thousand times..

OMG what a sweet man. He toughed it out and went to visit that lil fur baby when ever he could. I am sooo happy this little fur baby tagged a good man and a great forever home.
Thank you for saving and being this babys guardian angel and hero ❤️. The world needs more people like you in it for sure ❤️
This guy is my hero. God bless your heart and soul.
So beautiful when animals choose their guardians! The bond is amazing!
LOVE!!! Such a great story. I truly don't understand how people leave their pets behind. It's so heartbreaking but so glad you found each other match made in heaven!
God bless your heart.
Having adopted 3 dogs from our shelter, the 10 day waiting period is torturous! I’m so glad it worked out because these two seem very happy together!
