That "may" is doing so much work in this lol edit: oh "this paper is yet to be peer reviewed" so it literally is just 0.0000001 away from nothing. It all hinges on "we can't rule it out" no shet there is literally infinite things we cannot rule out. Even the most tested theories have a very very small chance to be proved wrong. That is what science is. Nothing is 100% proven, like in logic or math. But we can be sure 99.999% and don't waste time on it anymore.
Honestly things like the battlecarrier concept make more sense (a battleship which cant take a hit and a aircraft carrier that isnt good at well aircraft)
To be serious, what they mean by related to fairies/elves and other mystery creatures is not that they are LITERALLY fairies. They mean that the folklore behind those creatures could be people using those names to describe what we now call aliens. Its just another name for the same phenomenon. If you actually read the folklore of fairies, goblins, elves, and other shit like that, especially their physical descriptions, it sounds like what we now call a grey alien. They are saying that everyone is actually talking about the same shit but getting confused because everyone named it something different.
Exactly. The theory (not scientific) is that either the phenomenon is either a) real extraterrestrials and humans are ascribing their own folklore around them or the more likely b) that the modern extra terrestrial is caused by the same psychological phenomenon that caused the creation of the folklore fairies, goblins, etc.
to addd more some ghost entitites have similar features in their descriptions, for example kuyang or pok-pok exist in Indonesia but there are many entities that actually has the same features (a literal flying head) in Japan and other countries

Harvard is like that kid who is being misunderstood as smart when he is really not
I.E. Terrence Howard
Lmao no one actually thinks that its like 1 dumb person in harvard/
I'm sure that there is an event (such as opening up wider admissions) that correlates with the drop of quality coming from Harvard. Maybe it was rap battle final thesis's.
it really is. i heard from people with experience there as students and teachers, that its just nepotism. rich people dumb kids.

Human flourishing. All we're missing is the kaiju and heavy handed themes of depression.

That "may" is doing so much work in this lol
edit: oh "this paper is yet to be peer reviewed" so it literally is just 0.0000001 away from nothing.
The paper was already pulled down, lmao
Honestly things like the battlecarrier concept make more sense

To be serious, what they mean by related to fairies/elves and other mystery creatures is not that they are LITERALLY fairies. They mean that the folklore behind those creatures could be people using those names to describe what we now call aliens. Its just another name for the same phenomenon. If you actually read the folklore of fairies, goblins, elves, and other shit like that, especially their physical descriptions, it sounds like what we now call a grey alien. They are saying that everyone is actually talking about the same shit but getting confused because everyone named it something different.
It's pretty eerie too when you consider the jinn of islamic tradition are almost identical to the fae of the european folklore...
Exactly. The theory (not scientific) is that either the phenomenon is either a) real extraterrestrials and humans are ascribing their own folklore around them or the more likely b) that the modern extra terrestrial is caused by the same psychological phenomenon that caused the creation of the folklore fairies, goblins, etc.
to addd more some ghost entitites have similar features in their descriptions, for example kuyang or pok-pok exist in Indonesia but there are many entities that actually has the same features (a literal flying head) in Japan and other countries
maybe humans are predisposed to believe in some things due to evolution
@alienfromlhs1140b it's funny you put it that way, there is an ancient aliens dude that believes we were genetically engineered to be inclined to worship/religion for easier control lol

Humans defy logical explanation all the time. We are not creatures of base logic, rather, animals of instinct granted a thin and occasionally volatile veneer of reason.

i wonder why
@@qusigh Probably because they aren't as high caliber as everyone in society thinks and they are just famous for their reputation and the rich people that go there.
Not really. This is made up comment. Even this article isn't silly because it doesn't say these things are likely to be real.
Its a hypothesis, not a theory. Has to go through years of getting torn apart by peer review to become a theory. It is ok to hypothesize.
@Blerfman007 the brightest and best ideas are always derided at first. That's why Galileo spent years under house arrest for claiming that the earth wasn't the center of the universe, but you and I both take that knowledge for granted today. There is no need to "dunk" on a hypothesis. Just point out what is wrong with it, make an experiment to prove that, and then you each continue to move towards an objective truth. That is the scientific process.
@bennettnez4711 my imaginary friend is real and because I am smart you have to believe me
@@Boomer289-ol2vv you have to present an experiment and evidence with that hypothesis, then I can create an experiment to give me evidence to the contrary. This is the scientific method.
Gotta make sure to give Harvard more federal funding
I love it when alien elves visit their friends on earth from the moon
On behalf of all humans, I wish to extend my deepest apologies to the aliens for the mental trauma.

Harvard: We're not saying that it is aliens... but it could be aliens.
