When George was dying he didn’t want to die in hospital so Paul arranged for him to stay in his Beverley Hills house. Last act of kindness for his little brother from the school bus.
I like Young's guitar more than anyone's else. I don't care if its not virtuoso guitar or technically brilliant. It's evocative like no-one else's and that counts for me.
The Beatles were mainly Lennon and McCartney. They were the driving force and wrote the songs that made them big. In some ways the breaking point, the beginning of the end, was Sgt. Pepper. Paul more or less took charge and drove tye band to make the album. It seems he was a bit of a tyrant. Lennon became unhappy because he thought he was the leader but he was getting into drugs too much and becoming lazy. George was jealous of Paul and John because he wanted more of his songs on the albums and failed to understand that Paul and John were the creative center. Ringo just kind of did his thing and only left for awhile as he was tired of the fighting. John had also said that the reason George did not get many songs out because he was not very good, at least at first. Also he and Paul were very prolific and people wanted their tunes. George’s early output to some extent proved John’s comments but later he became quite good. As to his dislikes its really only because he was a Beatle that his opinion is of interest. Nobody likes everything.
Harrison hated his time in The Beatles. Some of his feelings are justified, but a lot of it is pure payback. McCartney admits he could have treated George better and George resented McCartney. I think they made up before his death but Harrison’s resentment ran deep.

George was highly under-rated as a Beatle.

He worked much harder on his music than many of these artists

He may have hated is time in Beatles but he sure loved the money he received for his time in the Beatles.
