I love the resurgence jazz has been making the past few years. Bands like Badbadnotgood, Yusef Days, Gogo Penguin, Alpha Mist, etc are keeping the genre fresh and alive.
I listen to all those too man. I have a suggestion, Immortal Onion. First Steps by them is one of my favourites, real young polish prog jazz etc. band. also Mammal Hands if you havent heard of them either

Was listening to Prince - 17 Days (Zach Witness Version) and it brought me to this. I thought it was another early Prince piano track at first. Nice surprise.
yeh great music, somtimes a little bit to quiet in the mix for my destroyed ears. love bands they are taken the "boring" 4/4 and bring it up to a new Level of Storytelling, groove and musicality
