in any other show the "mike searches car" scene wouldve been a 30 second montage of jump cuts and close up shots, better call saul said "no mikes gonna spend like 5 minutes and youre gonna actually watch him deconstruct a car, and its STILL gonna be Peak TV"
Love the first 2 seasons but this is where shit really picks up
7:57 there’s tons of problem dog references in both shows. Jesse in the meeting, old yeller, ozymandias ending, the vet
it's sad that it seems the only way to really feel "justice" and vindication if you've been wronged by jimmy is to play dirty like him and give him a taste of his own medicine
I always love the nods to BB...like the lady talking flowers mentioned Lily of the Valley (which is what Walt used to poison Brock 😮

1:35 ahhh I laugh every time they show the mall he works at in "Nebraska", because all I ever see is the Cottonwood Mall here in Albuquerque! I know that mall inside and out, worked there for YEARS when I was in my 20's! Seen so many stores come and go!
Just like how the Stranger Things mall in “Indiana” is actually in Georgia
Even the scenes of Walter White in the snowy forests of New Hampshire were filmed there, in the Sandia Mountains. That seems crazy to me.

You are not the first to notice the numbers of barking dogs in episodes. Season 3 is particularly full of them, and they even are found in BB. Perhaps they are 'Barking Bad'?
Did you notice the last plant the lady named off? Lilies of the Valley...the little things.
Vince said in a interview that was completely all her coming up with the names of the flowers and when she said lilies of the valley everyone was like WFT lol, Vince explained it to her and she had no idea about BB. Vince and Pete said it tripped them out pretty hard. lol. you can find the interview if you go threw season 2 behind the scenes
Saul's Cinnabon is in the Cottonwood Mall, about 10 miles north of downtown. When I first moved to Abq, I lived about 1/2 mile away. It's at the base of the hill that takes you up to Rio Rancho, where Walt's high school is.
Next episode is one of my favorite in the whole show

Heh heh, I mean technically, the Cinnabon parts are the present, and the whole entire rest of the show is the flashback.
In this time-line, actually in the whole BB time-line, the Cinnabon stuff is the future. So it's def a flash-forward. It hasn't happened yet.
@@Eowyn187 I guess you can see it either way. But for me, since the show opens at the Cinnabon, I consider that the "present". Then after he starts watching his old tapes, it flashes back.
This is one of my fav seasons of the breaking bad universe as a whole! I’d say aside from the final season of Saul, this is my favourite! Can’t wait for your reactions to this season man!
The B/W Better Call Saul "flash forwards" are really Breaking Bad Season 7.

We're so close to the real juicy parts of this show , i mean the forst two seasons were awsome, but compared to the rest of the seasons they were definitely the "worst" (they're more awsome than 95 % of series in tv history still tho which tell you something about this show and universe as a whole)

Saul risked exposing his identity, yelling to that dude. Considering all he did in BB, that was seriously unselfish. Things like this are why i defend him. He might be shady. But he's caring. That was a huge risk.
