Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Some of my favorite scenes in BB/BCS are when Saul dunks on career professionals like Rich or Jesse’s parents’ lawyer. Imagine spending all your time in law school, building professional relationships, working your way toward the top of your own little world, making partner and reaping the benefits of a very prestigious white collar job, and a chimp with a machine gun comes in and blows you away. Did anybody see that "Based on Actual Incidents or Fiction" text scrolling at the bottom of the screen for each one of Saul's spots? That's both deeply-cynical and super-clever, the notion that Saul knew most people wouldn't read that, but that it would absolve him just enough in court in the unlikely event he'd ever have to defend the ads there, lol. ;)

0:42 Kim getting fed up with Jimmy's bs trying to tell him to turn the commercial off while it's playing in the background is genuinely comedy gold

The best bit about this scene to me is how he deliberately leaves the door open on the way out.

Ahhh, the green screen really puts the "saul goodman" into these commercials he's been making. The other commercials were almost _too_ good, this is definitely more on brand.

It was clever of Saul to first throw out the ridiculous accusations to get Kevin fired up so that he blurts out during the real copyright infringement issue.

This is one of my favorite scenes in the show. Saul Goodman at his best. Then he walks out whistling “show me the money” 😂😂😂😂

    “That’s right, we own it!”

actually with NFTs it's even worse. you don't even really own a copy of the photo. you own the ability to view a copy of the photo and a thing that says "you own the ability to view a copy of the photo".

Man.. I wonder who's idea it was for Jimmy to walk out of that meeting whistling that tune. What a great touch to end out that scene.
