Scarborough is my spiritual home and there is nowhere else I would rather be. I stay at The Sands as often as I can and have booked for my 70th in 2022. It’s heaven. Thanks for this. 💜💜💜
Many, many years ago there was a tiny tea shop on the path where your walk started. If I recall correctly,it was run by two charming, elderly Ladies. There was also a fairly large pitch and putt course immediately below
Try The Clifton Hotel... The last traditional hotel on the north bay before you fall off the end.... Dated but I love it, especially the carpet lined, clapped out lift, lol
I stay every year in the Helaina apartments right on the road you are on! We normally book the top floor so the view is absolutely amazing! The sunrise is beautiful and watching the surfers and dogs enjoying their morning run on the beach! Love it!
Me n the hubby stayed at The Victoria Seaview Hotel when we were last there in 2019. Had perfect Seaview, definitely stay there ...the staff were really nice and helpful. I saw window of room we had on the 2nd floor, the middle one.
This brings back so many good memories but at the same time sad memories because I was there with an ex partner and we actually stayed in the marine view guest house with our daughter at the time, it was in 2012, children aren't even allowed to stay in the marine view now by all accounts, we also stayed at the Crown spa Hotel in Scarborough several times as well 💖
2nd video of yours here and enjoyed it so much wandering around and my husband saying he painted most or half hotels along this stretch, beautiful scenes and commend you on your slow mode of videos as we see all and what you are talking about, once again amazing video. 💕
Thank you for another Great video, I thought I knew Scarborough inside out but never knew it used to have a pier on the North Bay, you never stop learning in life, that's good research on your part, thank you again.
We stayed in Bay View Apartments a few houses before the Norbreck Hotel two weeks after you filmed this walk. Looking out onto this bay creates a stunning view while you're eating your eggs and bacon! Friends thought we were mad holidaying in November, but we had a great time, the weather was fine and we weren't tripping over other holidaymakers! We also did Staithes on another day and Whitby on another.
As a former resident I always enjoy Scarborough videos and this is no exception. Its a shame that many of the attractions and historic buildings have gone but its still a fab place to visit and the walking is excellent. Can't wait to visit again so thanks for this.
What a breathtaking view of North Bay. You do a good job videotaping for someone who has fear of heights. All those hotels look unique. Keep the good work.
Another excellent video. Been there many times. Make a note if you film again: you can go down to the north beach just below where you were and walk north to Sea Life centre (about 20 to 30 minutes walk) and also film inside Peasholm Park which is superb. If you go to the island in the middle and go to the top there is a Chinese garden and great views. There's a small wood at the end of the park too. There is also the train at the Open Air Theatre (opposite side of road to Peasholm Park) that goes to the Sea Life Centre. There is a park area around this Open Air Theatre and i think it is all called Northstead Gardens. It's really stunning in summer. It's all so much nicer than the south side.
Thank you so much for overcoming your fear of heights to shoot this beautiful content for your viewers! If you could do a walk on the Soutnbourne clifftops in Bournemouth, you would have even more spectacular views- The Needles and Purbeck Island.
Yet another stunning video, always wanted to see what it was like up there. I'll be in Scarborough on Sunday for my Lunch at the golden grill for Fish and Chip's 😋
Hello Again we've stayed @ Kimberley's last time we went to Scarborough and i also seen the tv program called Scarborough & the film which was filmed there Another Favorite Seaside town After Cornwall # 1 Thank Again for another Superb Video .
I stayed at the Delmont (6:03) for a few days at the end of last month (Oct,.2021). Basic single room, but for £45 per night I wasn't complaining. The restaurant was pretty good and they had a couple of bottled real ales at the bar.
Me and my parents stopped in the Catania Hotel back in 2022. last year me, my parents, sister, brother in law and niece rented a holiday home for a long weekend , when me and my sister were younger my parents took us to a guest house on Alma Square, Called Tenby or something like this. the guest house on Alma Square is no longer there . we stopped here 3 years running in August. breakfast was pre-ordered during evening meal, and evening meal was simple , set menu, apart from when it was fish and chips, where we could have cold meat and chips instead
Never forget the first time i went to Scarb.. had family there most of my life. It had nearly everything. Good surfin, fishin, amusements fairgrounds, kinderland. Mr marvels. Best ice cream, fish n chips, stunning victorian buildings. What a place!!!! Jesus Christ is the way
@@GimbalWalkTV thanx for all the fab Scarborough stuff you give us on youtube. like you i love Scarborough. i should get a job in the Scarborough Tourist Board lol.
I stayed at The Delmont about 6 or 7 year ago. I wanted to have 2 days watching the cricket, so I thought the Delmont would be a good. I think I paid about 40 quid for a very basic, but clean single room. It was tiny and in the middle of the night, someone is the next room got up to use their loo and I thought they were in my room. The bathroom was tiny too, but I managed. Not my best experience.
Nice Video but what is clear from this and your walk round Bridlington is the lack of money spent in Scarboro by the council. It looks dirty and forgotten.Contrast that with the clean newly laid paving and rest areas around the harbour in Bridlington and their is only one place to go and visit.Scarboro needs to find away of removing cars and other vehicles from the sea front otherwise it will simply die even if it is only for the summer months.

The walk from North to South Bay is lovely! I have done it so many times and still love it!
It really is!

Fully agree
One of the best views along that stretch!

My favourite hotel in Scarborough is the Crown Spa Hotel. I've not been to Scarborough for 3 years, so I hope that hotel is still good. Nice filming 👍

The trouble with removing cars from the seafront is that many/most visitors like to drive along and park on the seafront I guess?
stop inviting people here lol
Sorry - can't help spread the word! 🤣
It's my favourite place
Helaina is a nice and clean 🧼 hotel 🏨 👍
