@@LateModelRacecraft I have a manual ZL1 and I've been afraid to modify it because I like that I can kinda smash it coming out of a corner and it hooks, how much power in your experience before it becomes a car for straight lines only?
I got my 2023 Gen 6, it's stock but maybe one day upgrade it. 3 pedal car, all I've ever owned and super happy I have the last ever of these. Next Cams will be electric or perhaps hybrid. Not as good even if faster imho.
Love it!! Now if I can figure out if Im getting C7 GS or Z06, C8 Z51 or C8 Z06. Im thinking hard on C8 Z51 w/heads n cam or Lingenfelter 2650 package. I want the Z06 but still 2-3 yr wait. I can order a C8 get it in 2-3 months, EXACTLY how I want it. Then get ppf & Ceramic then drive it to Texas for Steven to do his magic. Or Boost District if Steven is booked up. What would you choose? C8 w/heads n cam or C8 Z06? let me know. Very hard decision. I was going to sell my 1 of 900 Crystal White Matte Tint Coat 16 ATSV mild tuned to 501 hp n tq. Still fun as all hell.
Nice ZL1, been following your channel and your 6th gen Camaro builds for a little while now. I have a question, when LMR tunes these automatic LT1/LT4s I've notice you check/test the shift points in manual mode but its shifting automatically. When the customer gets these automatic transmission Camaros back from y'all, are they losing the manual shift option of the transmission after these tunes?
We tune it so it “can” shift by itself at the shift point we set. If you want to manually shift it before it hits that RPM you can just like factory. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us anytime.
(before everyone on the internet loses their minds) towards the end of the video did you mean to say that they stopped production of the 5th gen Camaro in 2010? Or did you mean to say that's when they brought it back?
So if they picked up 150 extra horsepower, then this car only made about 500 at the rear wheels? I know there is a drive train loss, but something on this build just doesn’t seem right, I was certain that theses cars would put down at least 540-550 at the wheels stock, please inform if I’m missing something or maybe the car was dynoed later

You still are able to shift

Your right, should be around an 18-19% drive thru by the time it reaches the rears. Which would put in that range. 530-545...
