Regardless, as per demand, this video breaks down the pieces of for this build as I've customized this for my liking. Enjoy!

Thanks! good info and execution!
Thank you!
CAMVATE Quick Release Baseplate is 2 mm to low so the camera plate get stuk on top from rail
Is it compatible with stuff from Smallrig?
Thanks for this. I have a question, what if I want right handle, what should I buy? It looks like it can't only connect to the left handle
You can try flipping through bracket, but I’d imagine it’ll make your rig incredibly awkward and unbalanced. I would say your best bet is to look for full sized cage then
Does anybody know the arca version of the manfrotto qr that he has?
Haha didn’t think anyone would notice. It’s not arca, it’s a shorter version of the Manfrotto qr that I got with an LCD viewfinder attachment many many years back
would Nikon D4s fit?
I checked the height of the Nikon D4s online and it looks to be 157mm. Which is unfortunately too high for this cage. Cage max height is around 145mm
REALLY.....ugly! Give me a SmallRig ! Heck even cheapo Neewer is much better
Ugly it may be but do Small Rig or Neewer do a universal cage like that? I need to adapt an old Camcorder and this seems ideal. If I could get it, it seems unavailable in Australia ATM.
As long as it's effective, who cares if it's ugly? The camera isn't going to see it. Personally, I don't think it looks bad at all.
@@LowDoughTech Whether it's a $80,000 ENG camera on my shoulder with a $20,000 20 to 1 zoom lens or sub $1,000 digital camera there is STYLE and FUNCTION when doing artistic work. (and #class)
Just like Ya don't bring an ugly gal home for Thanksgiving dinner, ya don't have a junky looking rig when you can spend another few bucks and get a classy SmallRig. At least if you're a Pro or do serious work and want others to take you seriously. If you're still havin' Momma cook ya dinner and do your laundry then yeah, show up with a junky rig.
Whatever boosts your ego, I guess.
@@LowDoughTech a great illustration of contrasting the differences of low energy, low vision "workers" that exchange time for money versus high energy "owners" that avoid hiring THOSE kind of employees - it never changes, you always avoid those around your businesses that you "own".
When I was around national media regularly we had none of that employee attitude and the BEST equipment in 'da World of the photographic/film/tv equipment around me. Luv'd the atmosphere.
