- UPDATE 2: The two replacement magazines that were supplied by Gravel Agency through Crosman, work perfectly. I have had zero issues, and great customer service.
UPDATE: Crosman replied to a recent email I sent them regarding the magazine issues. Crosman arranged to have two new magazines sent out to replace these two defective magazines. This is greatly appreciated. It will allow me to dive deeper on the issue at some point on the old mags and see if we can’t find a fix for you tinkerers out there.
ORIGINAL: I've owned 3 Crosman DPMS SBR magazines, they all leaked. After some research, a friend found the easy fix, and it works! Once the magazine cools down, and you fire it a couple times, the leak disappears. I tested this on two separate magazines and it worked like a charm.

I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I just got the Crosman Bushmaster MPW 2 weeks ago and yesterday I put in fresh cartridges and used maybe 1 mag. This morning when I went to shoot they were empty? I thought that was strange so I took them out and grabbed 2 more, as I tightened the first one all the air came shooting out the other side at full blast!! I tried 4 more cartridges before getting so frustrated that I contacted the online seller I bought this from brand new,... I then found your video and I said what the hell, I'll try it so I took it apart and heated up until it was warm and tried to insert a cartridge but NO JOY,..it blew out again but not quite as fast so I took it out grabbed the heat gun and got it nice and warm like it was sitting in the sun on a 90 degree day for a few hours. I then took 2 carts and added a drop of silicone oil on the tip of each and placed them both in tightening each evenly until they were right before the point of puncture and then I tightened the first one and YES the air went in with no leak and same with the other one and I'm shooting great again,.. so thank you, this method does work under these conditions I can't comment on other type leaks but this def. worked, YOU ROCK!!

Had the same problem,,,just put the empty mag on the radiator for a while ... worked for me
At 50 bucks a copy they should replace them!
And they did, received two new ones the other day. Posts of them on my Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

@@Livemusic1800 hey Mikee, contact Crosman support, their customer service is very good. They replaced two of mine after shooting this video. Now I have 4, two leaking two, not leaking.

That works too, as long as it gets heat up enough to expand and contract.
Great video man! I recently bought one of these & the mag only charged on the left side. Crosman took care of it right away & sent me another one.
I still have the old one & would like to try & fix it. Any idea's on what the problem is with them? Thanks for your time.
It looks like there’s some valve sticking issues. Not sure exactly what’s causing it, but the heat seems to loosen it up and releases the stuck valve temporarily. Crosman also took care of me finally, and I’m happy.
They’re junk that’s the issue. Not worth the money spent!
😮don't be so dumb there is a flat head screw on the side you have to flush that valve by unscrewing it then loading a full co2 cart n let it flsh our problem solved
When you put the co2 in hold it upside does with the co2 bottom facing you

Right but what does that accomplish? All the mind readers work for the government now or died because of working there. Anyway, it makes sense that if you're going to blurt out a random action to a stranger, you should include some additional details. For example... Why? And maybe the type of result one should expect when doing the thing. At the very least, toss out a "#doubledogdareya" so we know you're just a troll. Then we can have a chuckle together and carry on with the rest of the completely meaningless shit were all so busy doing.
Like me.... I don't have time to go and watch videos about toys, read the comments from probably years ago and respond to complete strangers with unnecessarily lengthy and (I'm sure we can all agree...) girthy comments that accomplish nothing for me or the poor bastards that make the mistake of getting sucked into the meandering labyrinth that is the messy mind of HoboFoshitsho.

Hello, I have a broken part of my mag, it's like a gasket that goes around the o ring where the gas exits towards the bb and the recoil system, someone knows that part # or where to find it?
You’ll have to call Crosman customer service they’re very good.

I'm having the same issue (leaking from top seal) basically out of the box.. Did heating the mag solve the problem and for how long?
It actually went back to leaking after about a week. I'm going to try it again and do a follow up video shortly. Make sure you take some silicone oil and lube up the seal a bit, that will make sure to keep it from drying out.
Take top screw out, remove seal, turn pin clockwise w needle nose or flat tip pliers until leaking air stops. May have to turn clockwise ~10 times.

Yeah for some it’s the trick. The sun works too if it’s hot out. It seems to get stuck again. Crosman replaced my magazines, I would contact them if you can’t solve it.
Might have been helpful if you could hear the guy. Zooming in on the repair itself would have also been helpful
Turn up the volume, no one else seemed to have a problem with it. It’s not rocket science, it’s heating up a magazine. ;)
My mp40 co2 is leaking as well, could any of you help me please?
Do you know where it’s leaking from? The seal at the tip of the co2 cartridge, or elsewhere? Do you store it with co2 in it? The seals could be compressed. Make sure you use pelgun or silicone on the seals to keep them fresh.
Any remedy to valve chamber nipples worn out?
Buy new mags?
Try pasties.

It’s a centre point that came with it.
Easy fix, silicone grease around the perimeter head of the CO2 and problem solved!
No, that’s not the location of the leak. If that’s your issue, jus replace the green seals. This is for an internal leak.

Can't hear a damn thing you're saying, did you even listen to your own recording before uploading?? Get a Lapel microphone! The Fix has nothing to do with heating anything, the valve on top need to be TIGHTENED Clockwise!
Really old video, and thanks for your input. Your leak you’re talking about is not the leak experienced in the video or with my rifle. That valve is completely fine on all my mags. The leak is inside the unit between the two chambers for 1 and 2 co2, gets stuck open.
