    "Omo" means “child” in some languages in the south of Nigeria, but when used as slang it can express shock, stress, or a precursor to the beginning of a conversation with a friend. Example: “Omo! The artist did an amazing job with the portrait.”
    “Omo” in Korean
    The word “omo” is another common romanization for 어머. This word still means “oh my god” in Korean.

    Nigerians came from the Congo, the Sudan and Kemet, today’s Egypt in the ancient times 25,000 years ago. We were the original rulers and owners of those lands 200,000 years ago up to the dawn of the last global warning over 10,000 years ago. And our last wave of migrations since it started over 25,000 years ago ended at the fall of Kemet to the Arabs and the dawn of Islam.

    So I had to comment. I did my undergrad at an Ivy in the US. And as most of you know, the majority of black (African) students at these institutions are nigerians or kenyans -- i am neither; i am from west africa, ivory coast.
    So one day i was chilling in one the rooms reserved for religious purposes (muslim prayer) and there was an envelope on the floor mat. I took a snapshot at the receiver's name and thought to myself, "do we have a new japanese brother ???" Later came in one of the students who used to lead us in prayer (the imam). I asked him who that new brother from japan was. He smiled and told me he was our nigerian brother that I knew well, but that name on the envelope was his full name.
    I learned two things that days: some nigerian names do sound japanese, and most nigerians cut short their tribe/family names when living abroad. I do it sometimes myself. For example, i would sometime write or say i am "San" while the full name is "Sanogho" or "Sanogo."
    Thank you for the video.

These people in Cameroon do not just have similar chinese names (like Chu, Kum, Wong, Wang etc) they do have remarkable similar genetics. When they do give birth, the babies have mongoloid features (at first doctors thought that the children do have down syndrome but they do develop very normally along the line with reduction of the mongoloid feature towards more pronounce Bantu features).

    As someone from Nigeria who's around the area of the Shang people you talk about, I would like to say you my friend are incredibly spot on!
    We the people around the North Central/Middle Belt of Nigeria have names that others might mistake for a corruption of the Chinese Language. You can go to States like Plateau, Southern Kaduna, Adamawa, Nasarawa, and many others and hear names and words like Gyang, Dek, Kim, Gwong, Num, Woh, Da'anum,, my own tribal name is Shurinum, our tribe name is Gwong, there are also tribes like Berom, Jaba, tarok, Atyap, Bajju etc. all around the Nok terracottas sites and its cultures.
    I was just working and some thought and realization came to me some time ago, African tribes and languages even tradition and cultures are too similar to the Asian side to just be a coincidence considering there isn't very much contact between the two peoples.

The First time I heard the Calabar tribe of Nigeria spoke Immediately I told my friend who was Calarbar there are similarity between their tribe and the Chinese with their names and language been so identical. And from that day onward I started calling the Calabars and Shang people the Chinese of Nigeria.
    Also for the Japanese they are share the same thing with my tribe in Nigeria(The Benins or Edos, Igbos and Yoruba). The Old name of Tokyo was onces called Edo state or City and my mum once told me that there is a festival that the Japanese people celebrate and that same festival is celebrated only within the edos of Nigeria and during the festival the Japanese women paint theirselves white and eat only yam I think and same with the edos(I can't fully remember it all).

My fathers side of the family including myself and Siblings have the same features as the Ibo/Igbo features and my mums side the Ghanaian features. As the Jamaican motto goes, "Out of many one People" I had always observed people's features names and mannerisms and noticed the similarities including body languages. The world maybe a big place but we are of the same DNA gene pool. As we say in Jamaica 🇯🇲 you cannot hide blood or family.

    Interesting - Language scholars have a consensus that the ancient mainstream Chinese spoken language is more closely related to Cantonese NOT Mandarin (a language imposed on the populous & made "official" after the Qing dynasty was established by an ethnic people from Manchuria), it is therefore wise to make future studies with this in mind.

Their language and facial features are very much like Chinese. Their names, such as Hua, Chia, and Tse, also have similar meaning. They find it difficult to pronounce the letter R. So they mix up letters L and R, same like Chinese. They are supposed to have migrated from the central African region.

    • @african-history-fountain
      @african-history-fountain  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It’s a bit more complicated than that. The Zhi & Shang were not the only African settlers in Asia. There is evidence of extremely ancient settlement by the Khoisan group from Southern Africa, tens of thousands of years before the Shang. They are the original African settlers who’d turned pale-skinned by the time the Zhi/Shang arrived a mere 3,400 years ago, and as shown in our video, similar migrations to the latter were embarked upon by more southern African groups, and they’ve been seen to be speaking the actual same language today as some people in Indonesia, Vietnam, etc. These populations, like you mentioned, eventually mixed with large numbers of Asiatic/Aryan/Mongoloid hordes from the north. The Great Wall of China was actually built to protect against those groups. Many wars were fought, but as in everything in history, when your time is up, it’s up. 😊

      Handle my truth Igbo history 👉Note also that the people of Asia Minor have become Caucasians lately. This contradicts the theoretical origin of the Europeans. “The African who left Africa had passed through the Asia Minor en-route to becoming Europeans. Those-would-be Europeans have yet to reach Siberia and Mongolia before swooping down in detour passing through the Caucasus Mountain where they became Caucasians then into Europeans”. By the facts of the “theory of the Caucasians”, the people, of the age old Asia Minor [The Middle East] were never Caucasians. In general, the bogus and convoluted theory of the origin of Caucasians has always maintained the ambiguity that denies it‘s validity.
      It only exists to attest to the European resort to denying their true origin for a fictitious one.
      Their West Africans origin via the open Oshimiri Ouwarre the Atlantic Ocean; the home land range of the West African extending into Northern Ouwarre[now Europe], and the easy access even for a pole-vault into Spain from Gibraltar will remains the only true history for the Spread of the Africans into what is now Europe .

      My signature 👉By 11,000 BC, as what is now Central Europe was melting out, the same was the time of the discovery, mining and casting of Iron. This was the Iron Age Africa and the climax of the Neolithic Age Igbo(Bantu) March or civilization
      By the Time the Lands now called Europe (note that:~ the Mediterranean Regions were part and parcel of what was not glaciated of Ouwarre;~now Africa) was being re-occupied by mostly the West African and the Mediterranean Igbos(Bantus).
      The re-occupants had with then the Cultures and Civilizations inherited by later generation of the Northern Ouwarrians now called Europe.
      Northern Ouwerrians: The Ancient Ouwerrians who spread during the Early Paleolithic Age from the Southern Ouwerre now called Africa into the Northern Ouwarre now called Europe were those the Europeans now call Cro-Magnons/Neaderthals. They were pushed back to Africa during the Advancing adverse Climate and Environment of the Last Ice Age.
      The Modern Northern Ouwarriasns began after the Ice Age melt-down. These new occupants’ brought with then their African heritage hence the inherent ways of feeling, thinking, dreaming and acting in all the nations of the Northern Ouwarre have been marked, by their African Heritage to this day. This cultural inheritance from Africa is visible everywhere in what we now know as Europe and the West.☮️

    Comparison the Shanga language with Chinese putonghua should be a mistake. The current putonghua is not an ancient language dated back to couple thousands year ago. The current putonghua was a language adopted by Qing Dynasty about 300 years ago.
    It is advised to compared Shanga language with three Chinese dialects namely MinNan dialect, Yueyu dialect or KeJia dialect, which could dated back to at least 3 thousands years ago. Also suggest the Nigeria government to cooperate with China to study deeply academically on the cultural connection between two places/countries. China would funds this study definitely.

    There is a recent wave of anti-africa sentiment dressed up as new academia. It almost seems like a backlash to correctly stating the origin of things, people and places. I've always understood the link between China (Asia) and Africa, but I never imagined the "breadcrumbs" were still present - fascinating ❣️🔥

    This story is similar to the Guan tribe in present-day Ghana who are the original indigenous people of Ghana and linked to the Mayans and all the tribes in South America with the name starting with Guan i.e. Guantanamo Bay, Guatemala, etc. The Tribe Aduana from Ghana must have also made it to South America because the name can be found in Mexico

      The art of the Christian warriors are to divide and conquer. They first had to burn as much history as possible! Just remember, Africans (A-free-man) are the first born, all others are 'new beings'.

    sorry but 'nine' and 'husband' is not correct. nine = liu (leo) husband = lao (lawu) gong. is this Mandarin the old traditional Chinese or the simplified Chinese? is it Cantonese? I can't find evidence to support the language part.

      @african-history-fountain  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Husband is definitely 'Zhàngfū' in Chinese. As for the number 9, our error. '9' is 'Ku' in Japanese, not Chinese. In Chinese it's called 'Jiǔ', basically the same term and pronunciation with a milder consonant at the start. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_numerals. See the link posted above for the Chinese language website we used for comparisons.

      @@african-history-fountain yes yes, jiu, not liu, that's 6. ok, I'll have a look. the Chinese language has changed and also it's categorised into two similar languages, calling it simply Chinese is inaccurate.

      Mandarin is spoken by Northern Chinese. They also have different accents from region to region. Although, it has been almost 100 years since they tried standardize it. There are hundreds dialects in southern China. They sounds very different, almost like different foreign languages. Now, most Chinese speak Mandarin. During old days, my grandma didn't know how to speak Mandarin, only the dialect. "Mandarin" is also the wrong name for Chinese. "Man" people defeated Chinese to form Qing dynasty. They adopted Northern Chinese language as official language call it Mandarin. But it's Chinese, not their original language.

    Wow very intersrting your claim worthy of more research and since both continents is a single piece of land mass, is possible all these people were related one way or the other, this in it self lend credence to the possibility of the relationship of its origin.
