Super Mario Land was my first game, obtained way back in 2004, when I was still a little toddler. I got the hang of this game, but was never able to beat it. When I finally did, I was around 9 or 10, but I have become an expert at certain games. So when I saw the ending and heard this theme, I knew it was a treat.
I played it again around 8 years ago when I hit California legal age to drink 21 years old it took me more than 25 tries to complete casual difficulty then gone onto legendary difficulty
Did you have the same childhood as me? I was a toddler in 2004 and I remember getting a copy of SML1 around then lol. I'm super nostalgic for the game and it's soundtrack. I don't see a lot of people my age talk about these games. That copy I had back then is now pretty beat up at the point that part or the plastic came off. Luckly I found a clean looking best sellers version for $8 at a Goodwill and now I'm a lot more responsible as an adult so it makes a good collector's item I'll still play once in a while.
Holy crap. When I first listened to this, I already knew it was better than the original. Hackers need to make a actual rom hack of the Super Mario Land trilogy on the Super Mario World engine.
Yeah, just like the 3-D Model of Wario from the Wario Land 3 commercial looks weirder from the current 3-D Model. Well, what did you expect? That was their classic design, after all.
@@SploderianRich Surprisingly, that's how Daisy would've looked if her original 8-bit from the Game Boy ver. was improved for the SNES during those time. The artist did a wonderful job with that picture of Mario and Daisy if there was actual SNES hack of Super Mario Land Though, I found it kind of strange that the graphics of the SNES hack version of Super Mario Land looks as if the graphics were borrowed from the New Super Mario Bros. for the DS
Why this theme isn't in SSBU is confusing. Daisy is so misrepresented in smash. Her neutral should've had a Gao or something, and this should've been in the OST.

You always know how to remix these themes to sound like they would in All-Stars, including the added instrumentation.

So the instruments used in Super Mario All Stars are just about the same as Super Mario World.
