Lovely to see you vlogging again Paula. Hope your whooping cough does one soon. Bet your fed up with it. Enjoyed seeing all your lovely makes. I was so pleased to hear your bring out a new range of bags in black cat theme(I will be buying one of them for sure) just received my bootiful little Teddy yesterday she’s such a cutie and will remember she likes a slice of cheese and tomato quiche 😂😂😂
This is so exciting Jude. I’m glad you finally found a peaceful place in the country side. I. Looking forward to following along. My husband and I did the same thing a year ago ( but in the US). It’s so worth it. We have cows right next to us too and I’m not sick of the mooing yet.
I’m so excited that you’re doing a daily vlog again. Everyone I follow seems to have been on a go slow but you’ve cheered me right up now. Try putting a caster oil compress round your throat, I’m 1000% positive it’ll help. The other thing you can do sounds disgusting but it works… put sliced onion onto some cling film and put your feet on it wrapping them up, put a sock over it and go to bed like that. It’s like magic but better…. And slightly more smelly 🤣… xx
Great to watch you again 🤩 Sorry you’re still being plagued by the cough 😮💨 The French fabric is lush-I think the mark looks like a little mouse paw 🐭🥰
I loved seeing all your beautiful projects. The quilts is amazing! I can’t believe your still struggling with whooping cough. Hope you continue to improve. I’m looking forward to your vlogs. I enjoyed the summer ones
So good to see you again. I thoroughly enjoyed your not-a-podcast. Others say podcast, so I’m fine if you call it that. All your yarn creations look wonderful. I especially enjoy sock talk, and your hybrids look so warm and squishy. Those bags you make are so beautiful. I think your creativity is endless. I do hope the cough leaves you very soon. Thank you for the video!
Love your videos Paula. I’m sat here with my little Shih Tzu (Lady) and she’s all snuggled up close to me. Perfect while Hubby is watching footie. I’m just making the Winterfest socks by Kay Jones. Beautiful pattern to knit. I’m addicted to her patterns. Hope your cough clears soon. Take care x
Paula i so enjoy watching your videos ,you are so natural and friendly. You know I cant knit at all ,its like another language. But you very entertaining 😊 thank you. Gef well soon
Paula! I'm always so excited when I see you have posted a new video! And your projects are so amazing, but you talk about them as if they are no big deal, just making a redwork quilt, multiple pairs of socks and your lovely bags. I hope your whooping cough clears up soon. 😘
Sorry you’ve still got hooping cough lingering, I hope it passes soon. Lovely to see you. Love your shawl and socks!! ❤ Looking forward to vlogtember 😊
Gosh Paula, I feel for you with the constant cough and can understand where you get that 'tickle' I have a cough after a couple of weeks of aches and nausea. To have a cough for 11 weeks or so is awful for you. On a brighter note, all your makes are so lovely xx
Hi Paula, I was so happy to see you today, such a cute dress you have on. Love the flowers and wonderful colors, just love it. Hope your family has a safe trip to town and back, thanks for sharing your awesome projects and hope you have a super happy week ahead.
So sorry to see your whooping cough is still hanging around. I love your socks and I think James will be chuffed to wear them. You are an hour of fun and natural chit chat that brightens my day. Take care and enjoy your time away xx
I'm really enjoying your podcasts. Your cute expressions are fun. When it comes to the sun, I am in total agreement. As a natural auburn haired lady, I find that I have started having loads of problems with it. The sun is no longer my friend. I've always had to avoid it anyway because of having auburn hair, but now, I've started suffering with "ice pick headaches". Now they're not anything so severe as yours, which may be caused by additives in the pre-packaged meals you treat yourselves to from M&S or some other store, but wow they happen so quickly that the can't be scanned nor tracked, and thankfully they are of short duration. They usually happen when I've been outside in the sun. Isn't getting older fun? Love to you, your family and all your fur babies.
I enjoy your videos so much. I hope you get over that awful whooping cough soon! Your hair color is so pretty, I was sitting here wondering how you got it to color so beautifully and a few minutes later you said its you hadn’t colored it in a year. The finished shawl is very nice and will also be stunning in black. Prayers for good health and blessings from Illinois.
I can’t wait for September! I always enjoy your whole month vlogs so much. Lovely projects and you’ve made good progress, I really liked the Opal socks. I hope the Whooping cough goes away very soon, I know it’s horrible it took nearly 4 months ,if I remember correctly , for my daughter to get over it. I still have her school picture from that year and she looks so thin and delicate, you can nearly see tight through her skin. Poor little mite, I don’t wish that on anyone, ever. Take care🥰🙋🏼♀️
So sorry you have been so sick. Loved your chat & seeing all you have done & hearing your lovely stories.❤❤😊 Look forward to this months chats!😊 Did you know pineapple has bromelain in it which is good for your lungs? I eat & drink the pineapple juice. Vitamin C too. 😊 I ordered that alphabet pattern last time you showed it. Need to get started on it! I love yours!❤
Paula - hello from NZ - you’re my favourite podcaster / vid maker. I’ve watched you from waaaaaay back. That’s a horrible long time to endure the effects of Whooping Cough - hope it’s gone soon 😉

I was so excited and happy to see this video yesterday just what I needed I was having a painful day and this helped you should be available on prescription! Oh bless you you still sound poorly although as I said to you before I had whooping cough as a child and then pneumonia about 8 years ago whooping cough left me with a hacking cough and pneumonia left me with an annoying cough and croaky voice. Can’t wait for September vlogs and to see your September box of yarny goodness. I’m still doing the same redwork quilt I’m a l bit further on than you but not much 😂 . ‘See’ you next week my lovely friend xxxx
Paula, I just love to find you on U tube. I used to work with a lady who grew up in London and you remind me of her so much! I need to know when you are putting some of your bags in your shop. Every time I look for them they are all sold out. I live in the US, in the state of Georgia. I really want to purchase a large bag with the draw strings. Your bags are so pretty! Take care of yourself and get rid of that cough!! Nancy
Yes Paula, I'm with you. Stocking stitch it is. I get a bit fed up of hearing about stockinette and fingering yarn etc 🥰😍🤩 Everything you make is wonderful - pity about the postage costs to Australia🥲 I especially love your little crocheted flowers. Blimey one hundred years old...well eighty I was born in the late forties so that makes me pretty ancient then again, what's the alternative 😂 Have a lovely BBQ with your family and see you next month 😘Xx Hope you feel better soon.
Great video- I can't wait for September's (almost) daily vlogs! I hope you are feeling better.. I had bronchitis this spring and still get coughing sometimes- whooping cough seems even worse. Sending healing thoughts your way, and see you soon!

Hey ho that whooping cough is hanging around sorry to hear I live with Bronchiectasis ( rotten cough ) & I find 3-4 slices fresh lemon spoon full of honey hot water the best remedy to ease my throat The quilt is going to look fantastic Looking forward to September vlogs see you then ❤❤
Hi Paula, I do hope your cough improves soon. I’m Australian and found out completely by mistake that the best thing for a cough is few sips of Drambuie. I think it’s the special ingredients. It’s funny because I don’t really drink. It’s 100% for medicinal use only. Give it a try, it can’t hurt right? I love your videos and I really look forward to September 🥰
I'm knitting with Cascade Heritage as I watch this, by chance. It's a beautiful yarn to knit with. It's my 'base' colour in a cozy memories knitted blanket (squishy garter stitch squares). The other colours are hand-dyed minis I bought to make a Battenberg Blanket but I found crocheting with superwash a bit too slippery. So I turned it into a knitted project.
Hi Paula. Sorry that Whooping cough is still there and hope you get rid of it asap. September is my favourite month too as its my 72 birthday on the 3rd and my sisters birthday on the 6th. I'm doing Vlogtember too Bondi Crafter on TH-cam. See you then and have a rest at your Staycation xx

I’m so sorry about your whooping cough, but I know what you mean. I’ve had a very red sore throat for a month which causes a dry cough and when it gets irritated I start coughing and can’t breathe.
Oh Paula, I also had whooping cough about 4 months ago and still have the irritation in the bottom of the throat. If I laugh I cough instead, if I drink wine I cough and sometimes I just start to talk and a cough comes out instead. It is definitely getting better but it’s been a long process.
