Hey there. so I upgraded to a 1" proportioner today. I'll be testing it over the next week or 2. You were right. What I noticed is the 1" lines to the half inch proportioner even with 1" coming out was starving the pump after watching the flow. Wish me luck.
I have heard people saying the pump has been blowing up. Heard someone say it had something to do with hot bleach mixes and leaving your hand off the gun for a few mins at most. Have you seen this problem and do you have a solution?
Did you happen to test to see if you get much better performance bypassing the hose reel so going from 1 inch right to the 5/8 hose. I’m going to be building a new softwash system and contemplating getting a 1 inch manifold hose reel, but they are a lot more costly. Like 1200 vs 800 just for a 1” SS manifold
So are you and fresh rinse selling these set up like in his video or yall just showing what it can be? I was about to buy an ar45 but im a part time washer so this would be more my speed. Not like im gonna be using it daily
@@joshuapoche5137 we are working on getting the exact setup on the website yes! Hopefully within the next few days. Engine might vary between brands however. Same engine different makeup is what I mean…
This pump will be better than a 12 or 24 volt system. I'm sure more reliable as well. Once the company makes their money with this one inch pump they could upgrade to the Comet P40.
Nice affordable alternative to 12v system 👍 Have you considered just using the reel for hose storage? Place multiple sections of hoses on reel (1-100’ & 2-50’ 🤷♂️) and pull off what ya need and bypass the reel restriction with a mounting block beside reel to quick connect directly from pump to your 5/8” hose… lil better flow maybe? 🤔 might save reel from corrosion too… just a thought.
Also, one other thing, I had someone tell me (not sure if I believe it) that the pump will only last one day due to the SH. Any truth to that in your experience so far?
@@brucetrotzuk7486 yes that’s what I’ve done with no problems. The pump doesn’t build pressure when off the gun. It’s doesn’t heat up either. Or at least hasn’t since I’ve had it. Again I just wouldn’t go unnecessarily long with it off the gun
This is a newbie question. You make no mention of it, but I see you have a big water tank. I guess this means you have to use a big water tank? And if so, what's the minimum size you would recommend
@@hpankie good question! So you can use a smaller tank this is just what I have on my trailer! As long as you keep your tank fed with water you will be alright. Unless there is low water pressure where you are located. In my area I can’t drain water faster than I fill it with this machine
I've tried and tried to make this work but I just cant get it. Totally bummed. I followed your directions but I am trying to run through a 1/2 proportioner and 1/2 hose. Wondering if that is the problem. I'll have to try later.
TY for responding. I can get it to draw straight from a bucket through the hose reel but once I had the proporitoner I just get nothing. using 1" braided hose from the proportioner and the 1" coming from the engine.
@@AdvancedSoftwashLLCI’ve looked into the 3/4” or 1” stainless reel Hannay makes, pricey, but good reels. Wonder the flow difference? I’d imagine pretty good w/ this set up.

I ordered three Remco 7GPM 100 pai 12V pump last night, wish I had seen your video first. I will definitely look into your setup and buy your kit.
Tie 2 or 3 remcos together for more flow. I run dual remcos. But I’ll try this predator set up too.

I have had no issues with it. I wouldn’t be off the trigger longer than 5 minutes but I have gone 10.

It didn’t change my results much, everyone might be different though

I’m wondering how the entire thing would work if you ran it through a 1” reel then to 3/4” flexzilla.
Would be something to test!

Yes I have tried this! It didn’t seem to affect the distance much either way so I returned to using the hose reel.
So batch mixing wouldnt be good for this setup because the water drains so fast?
@@Yaknowwut you can use it for batch mixing, but yes it would drain fairly quickly.
How long have you been running this system for? Still running good? I just ordered everything to get mine started
Almost a year now and it’s doing great still!
@AdvancedSoftwashLLC wow really? Dang must be a strong pump internals. Do you run neautralizer in the pumper to help and flush?
You can do this, I just flush mine out extremely well after I’m done using it each time
