Simple in material, and for a not so easy to understand concept; a totally simple way to teach and understand. That is a master stroke!!! Bravo, excellent!
Wow that was really sucessfull i tried making my own but i failed (4 times) the first time it worked very whell it made good arcs but then it started arcing internally so i wound it on a homemade bobbin it did not work then i wound 2 more times nothing worked then i wound one more time but i did not finish the windings it was very weak and it also started arcing internaly

Amazing video
How many volts at the input?
very nice good job
What is the purpose of multiple slots on the high voltage winding? Can you share a link where I can read more about the theory? Thanks.
It isolates the high voltage from jumping to the windings and breaking them
