I’m watching this on my phone and I don’t get how this is a remaster. It looks a tiny bit different in spots, like light vs dark or vice versa, but even side by side it’s very hard to spot those differences.
The characters are lit. They added a normal map to the sprites. They also redrew the textures for some objects. take a look at the objects that light up red or blue when the character hits them. if you can see them, you may be able to see the difference. I agree, it is very difficult to see any obvious difference. I got the upgrade for £0.83 as a loyalty offer but if you miss the promotion, I would not recommend getting the remaster if you have already got the original. Thanks for watching and commenting :)

I just 100%ed the remaster and it felt no different to when I played the original, it just felt like I was playing the exact same game again, I had too look up a comparison to see what exactly changed, and I think I like the original more...
Well I'm glad I saw this because I was thinking of buying the remaster but after watching this there is no point they look almost identical, I'll put the money towards the sequel instead.
Not too much difference graphically. But are the controls better? The original had horrible unintuitive, floaty controls that made the game a headache to play when it didn't need to be. If they tightened those up it'd probably be so much better.
Good thing I never got this for switch Oled before I gave it away just got this for my blue view 2 and it's def more colorful and vivid 😁 what a bad remaster

It's not a remaster. Not by any stretch of the imagination nor the actual definition. It's nothing but a cash grab tweak.
The remaster has a few extra Secrets and Challenges but that's basically it.
