Welcome back to NorthernEar and tonight I listen to Sigur Rós and their song Untitled No.4 aka Njosnavelin! This is only the 2nd time I’ve listened to this band and the last time I was going through a pretty tough time and it hit me hard.
This song was similar. To be honest I thought I wouldn’t be able to connect because the lyrics were Hopelandish, but if anything they HELPED me connect more. The song ended up bringing out some pretty intense emotions, which I thought would have been very difficult to do with a song in a made up language.
