  • In the final video of this series I take a look at all the aspects of shooting with flash with the camera.
    From the simple use of the pop up flash as the main source of light to its use as an optical commander in a bigger set up. I also look at other wireless (radio) systems with the camera.

    Thanks for doing this series Graham, it's was a great help, and I'm sure I will be going back over the entire series time and time again, before I remember even half of what you covered in it. 👍🏻

    I bought this camera for some fun to take bird photos for drawing/painting refernces and general identification. After watching these videos I have found myself taking photos that have people on instagram asking what camera I use etc. Really didn't expect such great results. Many thanks for these videos Graham. Incredibly useful. :)

    I watched all the videos in this series on the FZ82. They are brilliant. I learned so much about my camera and photography. I intend checking out some of your other videos and will then read your ebooks on the camera and metering. Thank you so much for making them. :)

    Can I shoot a video and have the (built-in) flash light ON all the time? Or how can I do that? Do I need to buy an extended flash light to put on top of the camera?

    Hello, I am a palm from Bangkok. Thank you for the clip for the Panasonic Fz family, I got the knowledge to make a decision to buy a camera. Can be used to cover the work of photography and video thanks.

    Thanks Graham for producing this series. I too am having trouble trying to connect the FZ82 to my Moto G4 Plus Smartphone. I am following instructions from your video from about 2 years ago on how to install and connect to the Panasonic Image App but to no avail. A refresher for this particular camera would be very helpful.

    • @GrahamHoughton12

      is this an Android phone by chance?

    • @suetucker4336
      @suetucker4336 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, Graham, it is. I can connect by Wi-Fi to 'Send Images Stored in Camera' but cannot connect to enable 'Remote Shooting and View'. I have successfully captured the QR code with the smartphone and it then tries to connect - this goes on for ages, but eventually a message appears on the camera to say the connection has failed. I think there may be a stage I am missing. Have you been able to connect to the Panasonic Image App with the FZ82? I hope this information helps.

    • @GrahamHoughton12
      @GrahamHoughton12  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I do use the (IOS) image app on the FZ82 however I have heard of people having trouble with the android version on other Panasonic cameras.
      I'll post a question on this weeks newsletter to see how widespread the problem is.

    Thanks a lot for these videos! I've been watching them since August when I got this camera and I learned a lot.
    Do you share your own photos somewhere online? I'm interested to see what kind of beautiful shots you can take with all of that knowledge :)

      Have you learnt how to take pictures in low light indoors and outdoors? I keep trying but I am definitely missing something. My pictures in low light outside and inside look not impressive at all..

    In silent mode you are not allowed to use the flashlight?!!! That's weird considering the fact that the flash can be turned off manually. I guess it will be hazardous to use both at the same time.

    • @GrahamHoughton12
      @GrahamHoughton12  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Silent mode engages the electronic shutter bu design and electronic shutter disables flash because of the way the way that the sensor data id read out from it.

      Graham Houghton My very cheap webcam can do that trick. Still, thank you for a wunderfull tutorial about a magnificent camera. You are a great help in understanding this high tech machinery. I hope that one day Panasonic will add a real GPS receiver and update the software.
