  • It all started with a haul out for bottom paint and saildrive maintenance. Eight weeks later it’s turned into a complete boat refit with new engines for more horsepower, new saildrives, new 250 feet of chain, new alternators, rebedded windows, new electronics, new salon hatch windows (in the windows) for extra ventilation, new tank sensors, a new inverter charger, new helm canvas, newly painted dinghy, and new rigging! All we need to do now is replace the sails and she will be like brand new!

Wow great uogrades! What was your budget for all this? Did you reoplace the caulking because it was faulty? Did you install the seat over the davits too?

Budget?! What budget?! That got blown a long time ago. 🤑 We put in about $100K this year, which is very anomalous. But it was either that or spend even more buying a newer and bigger boat. So either way we win.
The caulking started to look dirty and one window had a very small amount of play. So we just decided to be proactive and rebed the windows.
Yes! We had a custom stainless steel and teak bench made to fit between the davits. Added the custom cushion and tada! A whole new seating area since we spend most of our time entertaining off the back cockpit.
