0:00- Intro
0:15- Was Wirtz fit? He was fine, we were cautious with him. No excuses, we we’re missing a lot of things. Difficult to deal with Atalanta.
2:00- First defeat of the season, how are you feeling? Usually it comes earlier in the season but yeah, it hurts.
2:54- We will learn from this defeat. You don’t forget these kinds of defeats.
3:37- It will be a challenge to come back from the pain, but a good one.
4:26- The finals you want to win them, being runner-up it’s really difficult to deal with it. - กีฬา
Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen taste their first defeat of the season in the Europa League final having gone 51 games unbeaten 🤯
A truly remarkable run comes to an end 🫡
Lost one game out of 52 and some idiots are calling him names already. People talk about modern football but i'm starting to think modern "fans" are the issue.
They're called haters, they probably don't even watch the league
Alonso is pure class. I really wanted Leverkusen to win, but Atalanta was all over them. Thanks HaytersTV !
ti sei mantenuto basso...il BL è stato bullizzato, calcisticamente parlando 🤣
Pure crap more like but close. 🤣
I watched the first half… I was also left with an impression that he and the managing staff underestimated the opposition.
The last time someone underestimated Atalanta was us, LFC, and we got destroyed.
They were trully amazing tbf, a true Italian team playing with that aggressive unrelenting physicality and killer finish, it was a hell of a performance from them
This Leverkusen doesn't have the godgiven right to just beat Atalanta.
Very respectable response.
🤣
The unbeaten treble dream is over! Was routing for Leverkusen to win even when they were 2-0 down but once that third goal went in I knew it was over! Honestly this defeat shouldn't deter anything away from the fact that Leverkusen have been unbelievable throughout the whole season
Germans outplayed, lacked ideas. And they're national champions! The Italians kept possession better, displayed higher level technical skill. Lookman stole the show.
not lacking ideas, but too much ideas, overthinking. grimaldo on striker position like cmon. the italians kept their cool, which is big compliment.
Cast iron proof that the Italian, Spanish and English leagues are better than the German and French leagues if ever anyone needed it.
its different when you play on high leve for 51 games, Atalanta just played europa league and maybe few strong serie a games
As a Bayern fan you can’t keep winning forever sometimes eventually your going to get knocked back it’s just how you handle it and come back stronger Leverkusen doing what they did is unbelievably impressive and I have so much respect
I understand your point of view but some players and some staff members said not so nice things towards AS Roma...so fair and deserved defeat on the field. They are not as strong as you think, they lost badly against the 5th team in Italian Serie A. According to some " pundits" it seems Xavi Alonso has invented a new type of football in a perfect team, but then reality ....almost bullied for 90 minutes with no hope for victory
@@user-gx5gv9vv8g calm your tits mate, he's a young manager ... give him time
Brought back from cloud 9, as a Milan fan can’t forget 2005 UCL final.
Best coach ever! Mark my words! A future UCL winner and multiple times!
you say this like it is an unpopular opinion
the word ever ist a very strong word.. the season of leverkusen was close to perfect, but its Europa League and Bundesliga. Lets talk about it in 30 years if he is the best “ever”
Still insane dont get me wrong
@@homelesssimpson1267bro will not be a manager at 72
Only if hé goes to réal Madrid
Ever ? ....🤣
Humble in defeat, Xabi what a coach. Credits to Atalanta, demolished Leverkussen. Congrats to both Leverkussen and Atalanta even getting to this final.
Atalanta should of been in the champions league , thats how good they are.
Well, they will be there next season.
same could be said with Bayern L.
Woulda shoulda coulda
Inter 4-0 Atalanta. They finished 5th for a reason. Bayer Leverkusen are just rubbish! 🤣🤣
How ever you had season noone will ever match well done to manager and his leverkuesen team
Respect to Alonso. Gasperini got a well deserved trophy as well for what him and his management has done to Atalanta
He's been killing it! Punching way above their weight. From a promoted side in a sleepy town with a 25000 seater stadium to the top end of the table! Inventive system, formation and tactics. Round of 16 and Quarter Finals for two years before they got raided... No one can say that they they don't deserve a trophy or didn't deserve the Europa Cup, the way they played.
Its time is better for a rethinking of their team power. Especially the area of defence and forward line. Some inclusion is highly necessary before champions league qualifier.
Now they gonna lose 51 straight
Xabi Alonso's bubble...burst in the final
Hmmmm! Agree with him cause he took his defeat as a Man and he’s good too but forgot about the game. LookMan goals are super but, not goals for a Final let’s be honest and he did #3. I’m sorry people I’m wrong he’s the boss 👽🤫😱🫡. Let’s wait for the next match and still Next Season. I mean Kompany is in Bayern now 🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣🤣
Credit to Atalanta They were superb.
Alonso would have preferred to have lost 5 or more games this season,
But not this final.
Atalanta was on another level tonight..
He should’ve played long ball counter to break Atalanta’s pressure in his own half…they were making too many mistakes at the back and that led to chances for atalanta!
Xavi Alonso complicated himself with the compo, not playing Boniface or Schick and not playing Frimpong as a RB but forward, was a mistake. We could see the past few matches in Europe that this tactic has limited.
Tbf leverkusen were already rly outperforming, the players looked tired compared to Atalanta. They still broke a record, and it's such a recently built team. They lost to an amazing team really was so impressed by Atalanta have a hard time blaming Bayer for just the compo they were dominated on everywhere
I think Lev had too much history on their minds. In trying to keep their winning streak going, it took away their legs.
Guy oozes class 👏 👏 👏 👏
Alonso lost by player selection and tactics when it mattered most
It is good to set unbeaten record but hurt so much once it is broken!!!😪
😔
karma is a bitch...
First lost! Wrong lost!
Certainly a bad time to pick up your first loss of the season!
Alonso should have learned from Liverpool’s 1st and 2nd game..
Would anyone nominate Mr. Alonso the sexiest man alive?
The real farmers league.
Next is Dortmund turn to show us which is the real farmers league.
Im sry but vardrid will lose to a 5th dortmund side like how leverkusen lost to a 5th atalanta 🤧
@@dannyfittvThe results for UCL final.
Vardid vs Dortmund 4-0
Referee(13’), Var(38’, 52’), Linesman(89’)
😂😂😂
@@lkgpuanimho0349 not this time 👀
I think they were just unfit. They were celebrating 3 days earlier. The final came too soon for Bayer Leverkusen, very unlucky.
Atlanta just ate leverkusen on the duels but great season still!
Good for lost 💪
from invincible to invisible...
Definitely not invisible
@@deankeefezafirino17 yes, he was...and your team too. They did so wrong. he was talking like it was nothing but everyone who really understand football saw the difference on the field. Maybe you are just a Xavi Alonso fan so...try next time. For now....from invincible to invisible. There was only one team on the field, the other one disappeared. Just to be clear I'm not an Atalanta fan, but for sure you are a Xavi Alonso one.
@@user-gx5gv9vv8g Well, you're wrong on that part, I am definitely not a fan. What I mean is that they have done well enough this season that their name is worthy to be talked about. So after one lost, they aren't invisible.
@@user-gx5gv9vv8g for the record, it's Xabi not Xavi ... he's Basque not Catalan ...
And you're acting as if he's the worst manager right now ,calm down
@@deankeefezafirino17 ...invisible on the field against Atalanta....after the match tv "pundits" were also too soft with answers about the game. with others coaches they would have been tougher. He will be a winning coach again and again but it's not so good as " television pundits " say. he didn't invent anything and for now he got a good tactical lesson from a 66 year old coach.
Xabi Alonso needs to go to Italy to learn tactics
That lost would take nothing from Alonso' achievement this year.
And I’ve seen people say that Leverkusen would beat Real lol…
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Funniest thing i ever heard
So bc one match they weren't up to it means they can't be madrid ?. Madrid is a team of luck fr
@@maxwellibhawoh1716 It's the manner of the loss. Your quantity is better than quality argument is dumb! Bayern Hotspurs (Kane, Dier) were rubbish this season. League champions like Man City, Real Madrid, Inter Milan didn't lose 3-0 in any competition even once this season. Think about that!
Hahahahahahaha only 1 invincibles.
Forever will be Neverkusen in European competition
NerverLussen !
😅they drink blopd
The German League is a one-team league (Bayern Munich). If its level decreases, the other teams win, and if its level returns, it monopolizes the league.
You guys celebrated to much
Just shows precisely how rubbish the Bundesliga is when that's your first loss. 3-0 to a team that's 5th best in Italy?? Be glad you didn't play Inter.
Would have been 7-0. Embarrassing.
That’s not how football works. It’s an on the day thing. Real Madrid lost to a Romanian team a few years ago does that make them better? No.
Gasperini is a high-class tactical coach, and the media did not do him justice... It is enough that Atalanta won this tournament over Sporting Lisbon, the Portuguese champion, more than once, and beat Liverpool, the leader of the English Premier League at the time, and defeated the German champion... If Bayern Munich were in their normal state, they would not have been Bayern Leverkusen won....Xabi Alonso is a bubble that was burst by Gian Piero Gasperini
Fraud alert
Ok, chav
Chelsea fan
Lmao because he lost one game out of 52 ?? Litteraly no manager have a record like that in a season.
If he stays at Bayer he will reach the UCL Finals next season and then lose again but finish at least top 4 in BL.
