    What on earth!? What genius came up with this procedure? Do I need to rub my belly and pat my head at the same time?

    "Jesus christ, I'm not sure how this is possible" haha such an unexpected turn in a basic instructional.

    You don’t need a scanner just turn the car on once the light starts blinking give it about 10 minutes and it will reset on its own

      Yeah just waited about 5 with the car running then the horn honked twice and light disappeared

      Does it still work without the scanner if when you turn the car on it says train left front tire?

    [Warning] Just thought I would mention that if you have 3 lights on your dashboard.
    TPMS , Brake-Light , Door-Ajar. ( Mostly at the same time )
    You have an Instrument Cluster Loose Connector issue.
    This Causes Intermittent activity, causing the lights to turn .
    If you Hit/Smack/Tap the Plastic Shield in front of your Speedometer , the warning lights will turn off.
    ( Same as if you hit a decent size bump in the road )
    Note: That a loose connector will lead to the Instrument Cluster ( Speedometer ) lights to stay on 3 minutes after you lock your vehicle.
    Also: your A/C will not blow cold air until the Instrument Cluster connector issue is fixed.

      How do you fix the problem with all the lights coming up on your dash board?

    Tire shop did this with no fix and now my dome light flashes on and off constantly. Anyone have thoughts on this?

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm that's strange as tpms and interior lights are not connected. Dome lights could be a wiring issue. Try taking it apart and inspecting the bulb and all connections. IF TPMS reset didn't fix your problem and all sensors are reading + tire pressure is good then you might have a problem with the module itself

      @queenbderbest2454 Ford diagnosed my 2007 hybrid. Said their computer wasn't able to speak with module BL8Z-15604-B. Which deals with the TPMS and many other things, including the stereo. Not sure about the dome lights. Haven't got around to replace said part to see if this fixes the issue.

      The tire shop you took to, preformed incorrect procedure. Walmarts tire shop did this to me as well, they didn't perform what this guy did in video and kept trying using the the tool and under dash connection. Tell the shop you took to, to oreform it this way and it will fix everything only if all the sensors are working correctly and are the ones required for it.

  • @kato223
    @kato223 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    That is great information to start, but couldn't you just over inflate the tires by a couple of pounds, then go through letting pressure out of each tire to get them to train? I thought you could.

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Theoretically that could work, unfortunately never worked for me on all 4 tires. But it's worth a try

    To reset it we should use the scanner or we can without it ? thanks.

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, you can try to relearn each sensor by releasing the air from the tire, but that works only sometimes. If not you will need a TPMS scanner

  • @joserivas2992
    @joserivas2992 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    TMS sensors can be expirated they have a life span average of 8 years after that no scanner can erase that code unless you replace the battery dead sensor.

    Can you at least steer us to what $50 tool you were referring to? None of the ones I saw on Amazon were at that price. You have to pay hundreds of dollars just for the ones that have a built-in display.

    When I scan the right front tire the horn beeps twice and the dashboard reads "tires not trained - repeat"
    How can I prevent this from happening?

    • @QuiteAlright
      @QuiteAlright  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm I never had this happening, but I guess the RF tire sensor was not read properly and possibly there is a problem with it. Can you read the sensor without doing a relearn and does it pass the readiness test?

    • @briancunningham7839
      @briancunningham7839 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The sensors have batteries in them that run out after about 10 years or so, so if they're dead that might be why its not communicating with your device. Unfortunately they're not super easy to replace, so I'd recommend waiting till you need to replace your tires and trying to convince the shop you're buying from to add that in for you
