He has his acoustics set up pretty similar to his electrics. Similar strings, action, etc. So it really isn't all that different from him playing it on electric. That's also why he's quite a bit quieter in the mix too. Acoustics need heavier strings, higher action and everything to be louder.

I remember listening to this and so far way performances during my breaks while i was studying, time passes so fast. Now each one of those moments are memories, memories that i'll always carry inside.
The crazy psrt about syns solo is that he doesn't just play the notes perfectly on the acoustic, which is already a lot more difficult, he plays the notes as freaking triads. Just to jazz it up and make it even more gorgeous. This is amazing because instead of just playing each individual note, he plays each note in a chord. Very difficult to do for those of you not initiated to musical theory or what not. Impressive vocal performance too as always from m shadows but to me its the solo that really stands out here. Oh and the violin goes so good with this song. Beautiful.
A7X is all in one band. Best drummer (ThE rEV) Best Lead Guitarist (Synester Gates) Best Frontman Vocalist (Em Shadows) Thank you so much for being part my life since a kid. Long live A7X
That's because Avenged Sevenfold is influenced by country music, they even have a couple of songs with country elements like Tonight The World Dies and Gunslinger
The fact that Syn is able to hit those solos acoustically is amazing. Also the string section for this whole set is grossly underrated.
Then you should check out Ghost's lead guitar on acoustic, nails the solos on acoustic as well :p

I wish see an unplugged album.
I only need to listen sherphed of fire
The crazy psrt about syns solo is that he doesn't just play the notes perfectly on the acoustic, which is already a lot more difficult, he plays the notes as freaking triads. Just to jazz it up and make it even more gorgeous. This is amazing because instead of just playing each individual note, he plays each note in a chord. Very difficult to do for those of you not initiated to musical theory or what not. Impressive vocal performance too as always from m shadows but to me its the solo that really stands out here. Oh and the violin goes so good with this song. Beautiful.
This is sick. Such a great band and syn is a phenomenal guitarist. Severely underrated.
What a band!!!! I have had the pleasure of seeing them live and they never fail!!
A7X is all in one band.
Best drummer (ThE rEV)
Best Lead Guitarist (Synester Gates)
Best Frontman Vocalist (Em Shadows)
Thank you so much for being part my life since a kid. Long live A7X
RIP The Rev
Along with this being a pretty tough song to sing, both Matt and Syn hitting those notes while sitting down is amazing
Actually love this acoustic cover, Brian on that solo absolutely rocket 🤘🏼
The fact they've made this work acoustic is pure genius!
I like syn solo in accoustic guitar... Is magic!!!!
This song sounds like an old western when the guitars are acoustic lmao

Wow Papa Gates is there with them, he is the best guitar teacher in the world!!! Hail to the Synyster Gates School!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
so cool to see Syn's dad back there playing guitar along his son
its got a nice country rustic feel to it like western
hdz12345 hdz I'm attempting to figure out how it's got a country music feel to it!? This is Avenged Sevenfold, not Florida-Georgia Line here pal.
Michael Appleby it's the tone from the acoustic guitars, plus the bpm of the song.
That's because Avenged Sevenfold is influenced by country music, they even have a couple of songs with country elements like Tonight The World Dies and Gunslinger
Reda Lhioui I know I have all their albums
hdz12345 hdz me too! :)
HOW can this sound so good??
the prechorus with the strings sounds incredible! love that
