Tyson was the best boxer in the world, however, the misconception that being a taller fighter makes one more dangerous boxing is wildly flawed. You're punching *through* the opponent, not *at* the opponent; it's easier to skip punches if you're not as tall as your opponent; and if you're wider, your center of gravity being lower makes you significantly more stable on your feet, and since is goes by weight class, if you're shorter, you're wider! This isn't uncommon among the greats. Pacquiao, Tyson, even Mayweather, are all slightly to significantly under the average height of their respective weight category. Fighters with long arms do well in MMA and grappling sports, much less in boxing. Check out the terrifying loss of Andrew Tate before he became a fulltime loser.
