I’ve loved Bruce’s music since I was 10 (1977) when I’d listen late night on the radio. Great storyteller and he speaks about the things a lot of people have experienced in their lives. ❤️
Bruce is the best in the world, I don't care what anybody says, nothing and I mean NOTHING touches his talent. He's on a whole different level to everybody else.
The original "Boss" Springsteen returns after this pandemic with a vengeance of song and glory. God Bless Bruce Springsteen and the East Street Band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great sound to this video. The Big Man is sadly missed, Max is sadly underrated when the conversation turns to "who's the best drummer?" And Bruce absolutely kills it in this performance.
everything dies baby, that's a fact... everything that dies someday comes back. as i get older it becomes so true we'll disappear together just me and you...
First time I heard Nebraska was in Canada when it was released I went into a record store there and I could listen to the whole album I do believe that was 1981 then I saw him at the Spectrum in 1985 born in the u.s.a. tour. My first show ever was at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum the river tour and after the river he put out Nebraska and I loved it as deep dark as it was I could relate.
I think Nebraska was supposed to have been a double album set, not just with all the acoustic tracks that made it onto the final release, but also with all the band tracks that made up most of 1984's Born in the U.S.A. album.
Man, I love this song and it's a shame that people in Serbia can't hear original version on youtube. Luckily, I downloaded all Bruce's albums and heard this song that way. I mean, I like this live version and all that, but original version is just magnificent. Too bad that people here can't hear it on easiest way.
i do love that album! not sure it's his best... But I absolutely admire your commitment of buying it in 4 different platforms. Bruce's music easily motivates that kind of dedication.. He is incredible.
For me it's: Born To Run Darkness On The Edge Of Town Nebraska The Wild, The Innocent, And The E Street Shuffle Born In The USA. But really I'd put the first four as equal first. He is my hero.
From top bottom:Holy Man, Stormbringer,You Can’t Do It Right,Soldier Of Fortune,Lady Double Dealer,Love Don’t Mean A Thing,Hold On,The Gypsy & High Ball Shooter.
Fun fact - "Well they blew up the Chicken Man in Philly last night." - Is a reference to the death of mobster Philip Testa, who was portrayed in the Irishman.
Great song, but it’s almost like he wrote it for The Band, without reading it, their version is the best and Levon’s voice got to the heart of it and made it a classic if not Americana.
Thanks Mr. Boss for Letting Hank Williams 3 Take this song to Outer Space. This isn't to bad at least it isn't Commercial pop radio. Hank 3 and his band bring this and the emotion missing from this one. Right on Bruce Jersey Shore for Real!!
Nah I think all the emotion is right there in Bruce's voice! With the full band he's able to push it farther. But the album version is a thing of beauty. I prefer that folk version to the old country sound of hank 3
welcome to the world my friend ! come check out england ! EVERYTHING DOES DIE THATS A FACT BUT EVERYTHING THAT DIES DOSE COMEBACK FOR SURE TRUST ME MY FRIEND ! BRUCE AT HIS BEST !
Clarence was so badass, he hit a cowbell with a tambourine, while wearing a white suit! Love you, Big Man.
I've got debts no honest man can pay.
One of my favorite lyrics ever.
Great to see young Bruce.
Absolutely well said.
Props to the cameramen for capturing all of the emotion in Bruce’s face as he sang. Truly beautiful.
Best version of this song. IMO.
What an awesome version of this song.
1:53- 2:03 God, I love this bit so much.
me too, that's my fav, i keep repeating that exact phrase - debts that no hoooonest maaaaaan could pay!
First time I hear this version of Atlantic City, and I love it!
I’ve loved Bruce’s music since I was 10 (1977) when I’d listen late night on the radio. Great storyteller and he speaks about the things a lot of people have experienced in their lives. ❤️
The best live Performance of this song from Mr. Springsteen on TH-cam. He is full of energy,. Nils with great performance too
Yeah and Nils is only using a thumbpick..not a flat pick
Bruce is the best in the world, I don't care what anybody says, nothing and I mean NOTHING touches his talent. He's on a whole different level to everybody else.
Here Here!
Lol
You’re goddamn right.
Behind the beatles, he’s my favorite ever.
He's kind of a Joey Butafuco, John Belusi, Joe Cocker hybrid.😅
clarence rocking the cow bell, RIP big man.
+scottay69 Will Ferrell has got nothing on the Big Man's cowbell skills.
+scottay69 i love how into it he is
The original "Boss" Springsteen returns after this pandemic with a vengeance of song and glory. God Bless Bruce Springsteen and the East Street Band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Max le batteur et époustouflant c'est un plaisir à entendre et à regarder
Great sound to this video. The Big Man is sadly missed, Max is sadly underrated when the conversation turns to "who's the best drummer?" And Bruce absolutely kills it in this performance.
Best live version of this song I've seen yet..
everything dies baby, that's a fact... everything that dies someday comes back. as i get older it becomes so true we'll disappear together just me and you...
Bruce is the Man! His words mean so much to me!

Wow!! This is my new fave version!!
One of his Best songs!!!!
One of his best. The live version on the Live in NY CD has the same drum beats, awesome stuff.
Man, I love this song and it's a shame that people in Serbia can't hear original version on youtube. Luckily, I downloaded all Bruce's albums and heard this song that way. I mean, I like this live version and all that, but original version is just magnificent. Too bad that people here can't hear it on easiest way.

For me it's:
Born To Run
Darkness On The Edge Of Town
Nebraska
The Wild, The Innocent, And The E Street Shuffle
Born In The USA.
But really I'd put the first four as equal first. He is my hero.
It’s great. It’s absurd to call it his best.
