- The Olympic National Park is located in the State of Washington, in the Northwest of the United States. It is renowned for its diversity and stunning landscapes, peaks with glaciers, alpine meadows, old growth forest, temperate rainforest, Pacific coastline with some of the wildest and most beautiful beaches in the world. Designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

I was just in Olympic last week. Gorgeous rain forests, beaches, waterfalls, and mountains. Such an amazing place

Wife and I were just there. Really cool. Nice hike at Hurricane Ridge though the mountains were pretty much hidden by the haze of fires. Sol Duc nice easy hike. Hoh Rain Forest and Hall of Mosses not to be missed. Rialto Beach was cool and misty. We stayed at Lake Cresent and Lake Quinault.

Just got home after spending 4 days in ONC. Itwas a “bucket list” destination for me and I can’t believe that such a place exists on our earth. It was amazing!

I have been backpacking the Olympics since July 1969 when I was 16. I am 71 and still backpack in the Olympics.

Beautiful footage!! I have the unique pleasure to call the Olympic National Park my neighbor as we live on a mountain right in the middle of the forest. The trees are so majestic and their root system is fascinating. The roots find a way, even growing over rocks. I love walking barefoot in the forest as I connect with Mother Earth. Thank you for illustrating what She offers!
I'd love to hike in those mountains but what's the chance of running into bears and mountain lions. There's a bear in the video already.
@@slomo4672 it's unlikely to encounter them on your walking path, but there's always a chance. It's good to read about the precautions you take just in case. I always carry walking sticks.

I am still blown away by how good this stuff is, its like looking out of a window. Forest footage is very good, the term "temperate rain forest" comes to mind here. I have seen photos of the coastal islands before as they are very famous but never footage as good as this. Great stuff, compliments.
