Love this! every time I hear about Houdini being the only tool to do high end particles & Sims, and then I see one of your videos - like this one! it reaffirms C4D really allows creatives to do high end looking particle FX and Sims that look so good and fast! 🤘
@@eyedesyn I'm literally giggling like a right school girl as the hat indoors comment! You watched my video! You know I'm secretly jealous of You, Ryan Summers and Chris Do for rocking the look. I secretly want a God is a designer cap for my videos!
What the Flock man, I was waiting for you to say it!! One question, when I'm caching the Particles groups, the particles stopped colliding with the floor after caching, am I doing somehting wrong?
Creating particles isn't the real challenge; the main issue arises when the movements become complex, and render engines fail to handle them. I love Cinema 4D; it's even my main software, but they've never managed to solve this problem
Thanks for the kind words! As you can see it can't do real liquid just yet (and XP can), so that's one big feature gap but Maxon is continually working on the particle system but XP does have years of development head start, so depends on your use case if it can replace XP completely for you.
What up EJ! I feel like the Flock modifier is only 1 or 2 iterations away from becoming a full on fluid solver. Come on Maxon, give us a fluid solver already! Pretty please!! Then I can officially give up X-Particles and their nonsense overpriced licensing.
stress melts away when I hear your voice in a new tutorial. 😊

This gives me that much needed push to dive more into the particle system, I had no idea you could do fluid esq movements with it! 🤙🏿🤙🏿
Fake it before they make it! Thanks for watching GOAT!!!
Aaaaw shizzz, Winbush in da house!
@@DynamicPhil84 What up 🤙🏿🤙🏿
Thank you so much, EJ! This is such an amazing tutorial. Can’t wait to try it out.
Those Oz/Wicked clips were amazing! hahaha
Oh man, I need to get into the new particle system. This looks incredible! Request to melt a hand with thumbs up!
HA! Thanks Leigh! Always love seeing you in the comments! Also how you like me wearing a hat indoors hehehee

Nevermind it was a bug, I turned off C4D and I turned it back on and everything worked. Thanks, will tag you guys with the results :D

I love the way you explain, it's great that Cinema 4D has this new particle system. Can this particle system replace X particles?

Glad you thought so! Thanks very much for watching!
