- UPDATE: Fixed loop points in the download files. The edit I worked off of had the wrong loop point but I found a TH-cam video that had the correct loop. This Video will remain, however.

I followed the Vs. Super Mario Bros name entry theme closely for this one since Mr. Kondo did too (there are differences in the bass and hihats of course).
The original hihats were hard to hear since this game hasn't been released yet.
Someone pieced together the Mario 1 Athletic theme from Mario Maker 2 (thank you to Buntendo on Discord!). Here are the NSF/0CC FamiTracker files. DO NOT MODIFY MY ORIGINALS AND CLAIM THEM AS YOUR OWN, PLEASE. THANK YOU.

I think they could change it a bit. It sounds too much like bonus theme
KiwiPower Green in gameplay footage it changes to sounding a bit like the bonus theme, there is no point in changing something that’s accurate.
It's like an extended version of VsSMB Name Entry/SMM Bonus Stage music

I love the usage of the VS. Super Mario high score/Mario Crossover menu theme
Seems to mix in parts from the SM64 title (0:46), Brawl's Mushroomy Kingdom (0:22), and of course the VsSMB Name Entry theme (0:32).
The first two are a stretch.

Brawl's Mushroomy Kingdom is easy to hear. The way they arranged the notes there are heavily reminiscent of how it was arranged in that version of the SMB theme.
This sounds awsome! I hope Super Mario Maker 2's music gets more remixes than the first game's music got.

If someone has a recording of the Super Mario World Forest theme I'll try my hand at that, too, on an actual SNES. I would likely make it in actual Super Mario World style, though. Nintendo finally figured out how to make authentic NES music. It's too bad they still can't figure out how to make authentic SNES music.

I would absolutely adore it if someone could patch this into the original SMB, to be used in the levels with mushroom platforms and flying Cheep Cheeps.
Famitracker has a different driver so yeah someone could potentially use my famitracker file as a basis, then use MML and hack it into smb1 if they knew the correct way to hex it into the sequence data.
It could be as simple as hacking the Vs Super Mario Bros arcade game Name Entry music, changing the pulse width from 50 to 25%, and add to the song since the song essentially uses that as a base anyway

It looks exactly like in the gameplay samples, and I absolutely love it ! What I could say is that the bass is a bit loud, but that's not a problem ^^
Thank you. The triangle channel volume on the 2A03 is not adjustable. I probably could have made the square channels louder then lowered the overall volume of the track, but I followed the vs Super Mario Bros volume settings

If this theme was in the original game,I'd say it would usually play in stages like 1-3 (treetops),2-3 (cheep-cheep bridge),etc.

The music they had uploaded (that was owned by Nintendo) had been slowly been being claimed by Nintendo, and they took it as a warning and took down (most) Nintendo music on the channel and said they wouldn't be uploading Nintendo tracks anymore. There are, however, still some Nintendo extensions of theirs lying around. (Sorry for saying Nintendo so much haha)
