Perimenopause is no joke for changing the hair! I have tried protein then more moisture and then I realized that it is just frustrating because my hair doesn't know what to do right now.
I feel you! It has been years since I gave up the flat iron and to this day I am still not 100% sure if my hair likes protein or not 🥴 I cont to try once in a while since I get over moisturized very easily even though my hair is on the coaster side 🤷🏻♀️🤯
I feel almost every curly/wavy youtuber I follow now uses this brush almost exclusively 😂. Manes by Mell mentioned in her video a few months ago that bouncecurl was working on different spaces between the ridges. I almost never brush style so I would probably get the brush if they made another brush with more spaces between the ridges since my hair is more wavy. Glad to know that the brush is worth the hype though as I really respect your opinion on products!
Love seeing someone that uses a rational amount of product for the amount of hair they are styling lol. Too many curly girls on here that use just an insane amount of product for tiny sections of hair and then encourage others to do the same. My products would run out once a week if I did that and who can afford that?
My hair has changed throughout my life. Curly when I was a kid, super thick and more wavie as a teen (but then we used a brush on our hair back then that would pull your curls out). when I was pregnant my hair would go straighter, glossy and I’d loose a bit. I really loved it as it looked so different from my usual curly mop. About a year after each baby, my curl would come back. I became very sick (four years) in my 50s and lost a lot of hair but it was very curly what I had. Now it’s fairly curly and gray. Many changes throughout the decades. :-)
I just got mine on Friday and I really like it so far! I have coarse wavy thick hair and it is sometimes curly, sometimes wavy and sometimes just plain bad lol. I do straighten it sometimes too just because it's easier when i go to the office and can skip the washing. I always have to rewash my hair if i wear natural because it looks so bad the second day. If my stylist does it curly I can go 2-3 days but not when i do it. I can't even put a bobby pin in correctly so that's my skill level. 😊
Your hair is so similar to mine in the beginning of the video when its wet after you used the brush thats what my hair looks like when i get out of the shower i have to buy this brush now your hair is so beautiful
You have such beautiful hair! After decades of stick-straight hair, perimenopause has given me wavy hair! I wondered why my hair was getting so frizzy when I blowdried. This was helpful because I have no idea what to do with my hair and I'm figuring it out.
Your hair is beautiful and it seem you have a lot of it ❤I agree with you as far as the hormones changing because I am still having issues with that and my hair went curly years ago and now it doing something else and thinning out too. I will be 64 years old.
I like to use that brush on my underneath layers and at the back of my head. I don't usually use it on the front section cuz the hair is so fine there i feel like it pulls the curl out and separates too much. But it really helps in the back & speeds up my styling time!
I'm going to give it a go since it has always been sold out while trying to purchase & I give up. I have the exact side pieces she does and I feel the same may happen, so I might need a different brush that doesn't separate so much. I wish my sides/hairline was thinker 😩
I have such similar hair to yours, with the exact tiny side part in which the shorter sides either decide to cooperate or not. The only difference is my ends tend to be the curliest & spring up smaller. I've tried to buy this brush a few times but it was always sold out. I think I'll give it a go since I always brush my products through. TY for the review. I now need to decide if I like hairspray or not 🥴
I'm convinced to buy this now that i watched you style your hair. Love your hair btw! I have UBER thick wavy, coarse hair. I've been dye free for 11 months and my hair is pure white and so healthy looking where it's grown out. Just had it cut to a shoulder length layered bob. I am ordering this! Thank you!
Great review! I appreciate your videos so much! Have you ever tried/used the Scrunchit small clumps brush? It has bristles and also a side that creates small clumps...AND I love the handle ... for sectioning or cresting spirals. I'd love to see you using it and get your review. ( less expensive too!!) ❤😊
This brush gives me frizz. It seems like the nylon bristles scrape product off my hair, so my hair doesn't have enough after I use it. I also have to make very small sections so this brush doesn't put too much tension on my hair, which gives me more volume than I'm looking for. I really wish tangle teaser would come out with a brush with those ridges on the sides. That would be perfect. Or that bouncecurl would make a version without the nylon bristles.
Thank you for the video it was helpful. You use a lot of product! I do not use all that product, thank God. It's not really necessary. But, I know there are different degrees of curly hair and maybe that's what's necessary for you.
I was told thst people with fine hair shouldn't brush it while it is wet as it could lead to more breakage. Is this true or is it dependent on which brush you are using?
As a person with true naturally curly hair, this brush sucks. It makes my curls more like waves and makes it frizzy. The dupe I bought on Temu, works a bit better for me.

Michelle, I love your hair, it’s so beautiful. Thanks for all the information.

Very timely review. Mine comes this evening and i'm so eager to try it out. Thank you.

That makes sense. Oh I LOVE how much it speeds up my styling time! Thank you for watching!

I am a little bit in love with your skin. ❤
Thank you for this video and all the controls you put in 🎉

Thank you for your informative podcast. My frizzy wavy hair finally has some curls in it.
Wow, your hair came out beautiful!
Your hair looks Beautiful!
Thanks for creating such a thorough video! I will definitely be using your tips
THANK YOU FOR TALKING ABOUT PERIMENOPAUSE!!
gorgeous. was debating on brush. ordering now.
Thanks for doing this! I've been contemplating buying it but wasn't sure cause it's a bit pricey. I'm going to order one!
I bought one from Amazon for AUD$15. The expensive ones are exactly the same.

That’s unfortunate that it didn’t work for you. Thank you for sharing your experience. And thank you for watching!
I’m wondering if this would work for me since I cut my bangs a bit too short 🤦🏻♀
Question- not related just to their brush, but when does Bounce Curl have sales?? I need more of their Curl Cream ❤
I wish I knew! I need more of their hairspray!
Great video would ypu recommend the brush for permed hair not just naturally curly hair?
Gorgeous!!!
Thank you!

It’s dependent on the brush and how it’s used. Hope that helps! Thank you for watching!
You look soo pretty ❤
do the boar bristles stay intact. some reviews said it falls out
Mine have.
Beautiful 😍 results
Thank you!
Did anyone hear what the make of the brush is? There are tons out there that look cheap or teeth as pronounced as this one. Thanks.
It’s in the title. Bounce Curl. I also have it linked
I’m so glad I watched you use the bush. Now I know where I went wrong today when I used the brush for the first time. 😀
This takes forever!
You look amazing.
As a person with true naturally curly hair, this brush sucks. It makes my curls more like waves and makes it frizzy. The dupe I bought on Temu, works a bit better for me.
You have that frizz because of how you scrunched. You scrunched wayyyyy toooo hard. Scrunch and pulse, slowly.
Even if I don’t scrunch I’d still get frizz. Just what it does.
@@CurlyChelle547yes, mine too. We have curls. Curl = frizz, lol. No matter what we do. Your hair looks great
@@have3kidstoo746 thank you!
