(Just kidding!). 😅😅😅👍 Anyways, I think your watercolor version if the shrubs and tree (did I get it right?) was better than others... I believe that not focusing on the big picture (background) by just giving it some colour (if you work a but more in the shades and forms of the backgrounds it would look a lot better, no details at all), helped you focus on the shrubs/plant life better, which is awesome for composition purposes... (remember the rule if the grid and the intersection points for composition, or the 3 thirds rule in photography - it applies very similarly in a painting but with less details as in a photograoh). Did I hear you say you were going on an international trip to... Spain and Canada and back to Hong Kong? Girl! You rock! Make sure you... "sleep in the plane"... 😅😅🤙👍😎😁 I love the Art Toolkit Folio Palette (I'm saving a bit of money to get one, for watercolor, and maybe another one for gouache "on-the-go" - check "Sarah Burns Studio" for "in-depth" Gouache info - awesome artist, US living in Scotland). One for watercolor and one for Gouache (maybe, still need to learn more). Spain is an awesome country! And hot now, so be close to a summing pool or beach (Just as an advice). Beautiful country, though... Can't say much about Canada... never been there personally speaking but what I've seen on T.V. and some good Canadian friends that I have, it's another awesome country. It look amazing to me with that dark earthy foundation spreading into those bright yellows. Those yellows just stood out so much. I also really like the loose background, I just liked the texture it had with that pink clay look to it. I pretty much like a lot of styles. Loose style I really do like and they do captivate me. There is this artist Toby that does loose art and I am amazed at what he does so easily it seems. I need need more practice with it and to be honest I just need to find out what my style is in the first place😂. I don’t mind the heat, I actually love it, it makes me feel alive. I feel better when I venture out into it probably because I work inside all day. Loved the sketch and the content, thanks again for encouraging us to sketch the world,
Ohhh do you have the last name of Toby? I'd love to check their work out. I need to also adopt your attitude towards heat. I work inside all day too but have a fond appreciation for AC :p
