It is so good to see you both back after COVID stirred our lives up so badly. Saw a couple videos with brody only and was worried something had happened to your family. Very glad to see you both together again! I do appreciate Jordan and Erica at Hawaii Vacation Guide, but you're my favorite tour guides. Hmmm.....best teriyaki? That's a tough one since I'm more of a huli chicken fan! You gotta go to the huli chicken tent. We did a video a while ago. It's in Lihue on the weekend AND now on Wednesday mornings

Stuck in the Great White North for last 2 years..Serious Hawaii withdrawal...esp Kauai! Grateful to have stumbled onto OHT while searching Huli huli recipes. Looking fwd to watching your previous vids to get my Kauai fix until travel is feasible again. Btw, such great memories of our day trips to the Plantation (normally stay Poipu). It's on our "list" to stay there, too. We actually installed brass bathroom fixtures at home because we liked the look of theirs so much!

I just found your channel with this video. I was just on Kauai for the first time last week (June 11 to 18, 2022). I loved the sneak peek you gave of the Waimea cottages. I ate at Chicken in a Barrel and walked from there to the beach and just loved tho cottages. The next time I go I hope to stay there.

Drove by there a million times to go somewhere else. Always wondered where those visitors wandering around the town there stay. Maybe camping? They aren't close to VDAs or hotels. But maybe at the plantation. Looks like a great place. There are also good eats nearby, Shrimp Station, chicken in a barrel, Porky's, wranglers. Waimea just doesn't advertise well, and it's on the west side. If you want an adventure in Waimea, search a free restroom. The plantation is now on my bucket list. And you are so right about the ocean being loud after a while. Gotta wear a headset to hear the TV. Welcome back ...
Definitely make a stop the next time you are out in Waimea. Its beautiful.
I’ve come to Kauai every year for 30+ years. Recently travels been curtailed because of health issues but I love Kauai, and watching your videos makes me so homesick for Kauai. I’m reliving so many lovely things when watching your videos. You transport me back. Mahalo! Mahalo !!! ❤️❤️

Hi Autumn and Brodi (and Autumn's dad), great to see a new video. That loos like such a relaxing peaceful place, I am assuming no dogs because there was no Mando. I leave for San Francisco for the next couple of weeks so I wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I will get back there someday and hope that day is soon.

I’m packing up and getting ready to fly over to Kauai this Thursday to spend a week with my family at the Waiohai Beach Club. After 2-1/2 years, this vacation could not have come any sooner and I am looking forward to making great memories and shooting awesome photos and videos with my drones! What were the temperatures/humidity?
It was in the mid-70's most of the time. The first day we arrived it was later in the afternoon and probably in the low 80's but the temp dropped once the sun went down. I'm not sure what the humidity was but it wasn't bad at all.
