Outstanding. It is a shame that they treated her pregnancy as a handicap and something to be ashamed of forcing her to lie about it for the purposes of her career. It is commendable that she chose to have her baby even though she still took a negative hit to her career. She persevered in spite of it.
No One Forced Her To Lie, She Choose To Lie Just Like She Lied About Her Marriage. | She Had The Choice To Embrace It As A Blessing. | Her Brand Would’nt Have Suffered
@@gbk2006 There was an issue with the sound midway through the first run. It dropped out of nowhere, I’m not sure what was going on. She just kept ad-libbing while the music was off, being playful. Then, they apologized to her and started it over from the beginning. So she sung the whole thing again from the top. Her assistant was filming the whole thing from stage left, so the footage exists. Also, Dick Clark Productions has the official footage. They never should’ve cut this performance down. She was in such great voice. I actually suggested they put the live performance version on the CD single, and even send it to radio. (Obviously, they didn’t listen to me.) Anything to help propel the song up the charts because we had already been told that it wasn’t going to be promoted beyond that performance.
I just noticed that Bran is most likely barefoot during this performance. I love it. Not her only appearance like that this era. Them feets were hurting.
Them white people in the crowd thought they was at the club LMAOOOO yes lawd get it yall 😂🔥

I don't know who did the choreo for this, but it's so damn smooth!! Sets the vibe.
Not sure but Lauren Ann Gibson was a pivotal choreographer in her Afrodisiac days. I like how she did the Talk About Our Love video.
@@terrenceadams526 Thanks so much. I'll have a look. Love that video too.
Finally a better upload of this performance!.
I miss this Era!
& Mr Clark was absolutely CORRECT. ❤❤❤
I was at the taping for this at the pasadena civic auditorium and been looking for a good video of it. Thanks!
Then, we were both there... She performed it twice in a row, sounded amazing. And then they cut the song in half for TV. I was so disappointed.
i love stories like this..why did she perform twice?@@Gatsbyesque
