This is amazing. Slowed down, lots of analogies, very clear and easy to hear and understand. I’m using this to teach my 2 year old a little bit about the parts of a cell. She’s great at memorizing things and honestly thinks it’s a fun game to play, so I teach her anything she can memorize. No such thing as too early as long as it’s appropriate and they can understand it to an extent. “You are made of lots of tiny little cells. Plants are made of lots of tiny little cells. Cats are made of lots of tiny little cells. Trees are made of cells. You can’t see them. They are too small. The outside of the cell looks like this. It’s called a membrane. Can you say membrane? The cell membrane lets things go in the cell, and lets things come out of the cell. It’s like a door.” And that’s how you explain cells to a 2 year old. It’s possible. And if you love teaching, why shouldn’t you? (“Because 2 year olds should be learning abcs or playing instead!”) she already has free independent play time with lots of pretend play all day long. We spend an hour or two per day sitting down and learning through talking, doing flashcards, doing activities, and playing games on a screen. We limit screen time and give her less than 2 hours a day. Usually about 1 hour total throughout the day. What about the abcs!??? Because we have learning time every day, she’s way past the abcs. Can sing the song, knows all uppercase and lowercase letters by name and by sound, also knows all numbers and can count to 20 with no help, and to 100 with help, count by tens and twos, and can read simple sentences without help and is getting good at sounding out words. And she’s already learned the frog and butterfly metamorphosis. So why not teach the parts of a cell lol? It’s not even that much work to teach your kids this stuff, it’s really fun. I love it.
Anna Zubrzycki can you hear properly? if so, i would recommend writing them down. if the student has hearing aids, they can wear them or you can write it down. another thing that i’ve done is download a video and upload it to youtube through youtube studio, then add your own subtitles and make it unlisted. the youtube option is the one i recommend if you don’t want to write something lengthy down.
@@rmi12 I am a teaching assistant and this clip will be used by a Science teacher in a lesson next week. From what I have read TH-cam adds subtitles to all videos to aid access unless the creator of the video objects. Obviously if this was enabled it would be easier than having to type up an entire transcript but thank you for replying.
Thank you!!!!!!!!! I loved how you compare the organelles to other objects like the cell wall to a brick wall. You REALLY helped me!!!! My science teacher explained this in a way that was so complicated and I didn't understand at all but this video helped me so much! I did really well on my test thanks to this video. Thanks again 😆
This was so helpful because it explained the parts really good and compared it to other things which helped. This helped me and I’m sure I’m going to good in my science test
predation is when one organism benefits over another organism; mutualism os when 2 organisms work together for the benefit of both; comensalism is when one oeganism is being benefited over another organism but that the other organism is not winning or loosing anything

Is it possible to activate subtitles for this clip? I need them for a hearing impaired student. Thanks
