Not sure why there have been many hate comments lately on this video? Like most of them are insulting the way I speak or not giving actually criticism. I make videos because they are fun and it's quite upsetting to see people blindly hate for a video that has clearly alot of time put into it but hate it because of one or two small things within a 40 minute video. Eitherway people who supported this video. Thank you so much, I appreciate all the support I get
To be honest. Some of these icerberg images are talked about by people really hard to understand. Youre clear as day and thats all I need
i mean there were a few minor hiccups with speaking every now and then but that always gets better over time, i thought this was a great video and actually learned a lot from it, keep up the good work!

Super Circuit does have both. But I mean, coins aren’t an item from a box. Though (and don’t quote me on this) they aren’t an obtainable item in Mario Kart 7.

When I was a kid, I just thought R.O.B was a new character for mario kart.
When I was a kid, when I got rob I though I was the cool kid on the block, because that meant that you had to complete many of the courses on easy, normal and hard difficulty, and I did all of that shit. Sadly my ds was sold 7 years ago when I was a teen, still have the game cartridge but the da used to play it is gone.

Regarding the fake item boxes:
The item boxes stun you for longer than bananas do (flip animation instead of spin animation)
They also have a bigger hitbox than bananas, and you can put one behind a real item box rather convincingly if you are precise enough, whereas with a banana you will always be able to see it.
I think it's a cool item because your skill at hiding it makes a huge difference in its utility.
as someone who has played Mario Kart with a real cheating dick, I can confirm those are a strong weapon

I'm surprised the iceberg doesn't mention how to crash Mario Kart DS: stand on the front steps of Luigi's mansion, then press A and B at the same time. Try it, your game will crash.
The thing is, that crash only happens on real NDS/3DS. I've tried the glitch out, in the Wii U Virtual Console Version and it didn't worked. Some people say, that the glitch doesn't work on Emulators.

It actually is possible to get to both the island on DK Jungle Parkway and the Island on Sherbet Land using a Piranha Prowler mushrooming into a Quacker. The DK Jungle Parkway Island actually has full collision and you can drive on it, but the one on Sherbet Land is out of bounds sadly

Donkey Kong Jr. is actually still in Mario Kart Double Dash; he was used as an audience member in Waluigi's stadium.
My best guess for what “FPS mode” is is that it’s the different frame rates between the Japanese/North American versions of the games vs the European versions. If I remember correctly, North America, Japan, etc runs the frame rate in the races at 29.97 FPS (30 FPS just to make it simple), which is known as NTSC. However, many countries in Europe sold a version of the game that ran at about 25 FPS in the races, which is called PAL. As a result, world records would have slightly different times because the NTSC version of the game that was 30 FPS made it so that you drove faster than in the 25 FPS PAL version of the game! In most world records there were comparative times in both the PAL and NTSC versions, and I believe that there was also a conversion equation to show what the equivalent time would be in PAL and NTSC. With the equivalent times being a thing on world record forums, some people preferred to play the slower 25 FPS PAL version because it was like playing the game in slight slow motion, which made it easier to drive well. SummoningSalt talks about this quite a bit in his MarioKart videos, and explains it well!
this is exactly what it is, the same goes for the japanese version of mario 64 it ran faster and smoother than the american vesrsion so speed runners play that version more

As a watered down explanation of the Grumble Volcano Ultra Shortcut, essentially, Mario Kart Wii has key checkpoints, all of which need to be driven through in order to count a lap. The reason the game doesn't count a lap if you simply drive backwards and then cross the finish line is because the game subtracts a lap from you if you cross into the region behind the finish line without going through the other key checkpoints. Once you get onto the rock in Grumble Volcano, you stay in the region of the starting line, (never leaving the region because that would subtract a lap,) and on a certain point around the rock, you cross the final checkpoint of the track, then cross the finish line, making the lap count.
This is a watered down explanation of it. Some development oversights allowed these ultra shortcuts to be possible, but Grumble Volcano is probably the biggest one.

Some of Mario Kart Wii's inner workings are more interesting than the game itself at times.
It might not be the biggest, but definitely more consistent than similar shortcuts. Back in MK64, you could do that on most courses. Only problem was you'd need pixel-perfect out-of-bounds falls, crazy collisions, or the mushrooms they give you in specific modes.

For the longest time, I had the memory of being able to actually go into peach's castle in Mario kart. The inside was the same as Mario 64 but the textures were downscaled in resolution and had less polygons. I spent hours trying to do it but I'm pretty sure it was just a dream.

oh hey! the dk jungle island and sherbet land island are probably both a reference to Troy's videos "blast off to quacker island" and "blast off to penguin island" where Troy tries to make it to both islands. quacker island has been a thing for almost a decade and a bit of a legend in Troy's catalogue
For Maka Wuhu, it's only patched online along other glitches.
For the DK Jungle Parkway Island, you can get there in multiplayer, if you bump someone with a shroom into a fake item box. Same with the Sherbet Land island, except it counts you OOB.
The Luigi Raceway item box has a mirrored "?" as an easter egg.
The purple shell also was in single, not only in triple form.
The Mii Outfit C was actually a Toad costume.
I´m gessing the ''c'' outfit in Mario Kart Wii is just a costumized outfit , like you could put on emblems and stuff , you know , csotumize the outfit of your Mii

Music Park is the original Japanese name, but I agree that Melody Motorway sounds much better. Also fun fact: they didn't bother to edit the banners on the track, so they still say "Music Park" in regions where it's called Melody Motorway.

Actually, the canon ending to Luigi's Mansion is the Rank D house, as it's the same house you see at the beginning of Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. Who knows though, maybe Luigi got greedy and decided he wanted two houses? :p

FPS mode is the difference between Japanese, American and European framerate in Super Mario Kart, which influenced a lot of world records times (in some cases there are more than 10 seconds between the european version)

My orthodontist’s office still has the Mario Kart Channel on it still. I didn’t go on it since I was afraid I would crash the system or delete the application if I did.
MK7's Maka Wuhu Ultra was patched, but only online. You can still do it in Grand Prix mode and Time Trials.
Here are some explanations for ones she wasn't so sure on:
'DK Jungle Parkway Island,' (10:32) is referring to the little patch of land at 10:40, and there's a glitch that you can do that launches you to the island. There, you can drive around the little island but that's about all you can do. There's a good video demonstration video of this glitch by the youtuber 'AnaMKW.' If i'm correct, there's a way to do the glitch with only one person; but I couldn't find a video of it.
The way that the Grumble Volcano ultra shortcut works (11:57) is that there are invisible checkpoints scattered all around the map, and by going out of bounds on the rock at the beginning, you're basically tricking the game into thinking that you are hitting all the important key checkpoints. Also, to fully make it to all the key checkpoints; you have to drive to a few specific points on the rock or else the lap will not count. The demonstration video you used is someone doing the original technique to go to the rock, but that way of getting to it is outdated and people have discovered much quicker ways of getting to the rock.
The 'Sherbert land island' (12:26) is just like the DK Jungle parkway island, and you actually can in fact can make it to it! The only possible way of getting to it from my knowledge is by using hacks, but once you get to the little island; it is out of bounds and you just get picked up by lakitu before being returned to the actual course. There's a video demonstration of this being done by youtuber 'CosmicXD.'
