The only viable one is the one hit kill boss with the sunlight spear and like 2-3 damage boosting effects

I swear, FROM used like 50% of their development time to add hidden stats to crabs
That time would have been well spent making things reflect, moving their mouse a few pixels in any direction to pick a color that isn’t grey, and adding more than one line of dialogue to the npc you have to talk to every five minutes

Maybe force has lost its potency as time goes on and the word of the gods (miracles basically) get more muddles by the wear of time? Especially considering ds3 takes place during the end of the world essentially.

I think that makes a lot of sense tbh, wasnt there a normal sorcerie in ds1 (like a soul arrow or somethin) that was compared to Gwin's Lightining bolt's ? Lightning keeps getting weaker as each game passes by so, i think thats the case

Its stupid because sunlight spear the very thing representing the god gwin who is long dead is the best of all the three games.
Not only does it only use one slot its damage is so much higher and faster

Sometimes an arrow doesnt do damage and/or bounces off something because the bow user doesnt have the required skills
Hey old man, you can also intercept the Undead Hunter Charm with arrows. You can easiely test this on the hollow throwing them after the dancer before the two wyverns. This could also work on other items that share the same basics (explosion on collision and vertical drop),since an arrow has an hitbox(collisioncheck). Maybe this is also true with spells vs explosive projektiles or even a Charm vs Charm (I'd love to see a firebomb be deflected by another bomb). It would be nice if you could look into it.
Thanks for the credit on my clip! I'm very curious what happened with what I thought was a bundle deflect. Sadly I don't have the footage from before the arrow hit to see what was going on.
I think it might be a bug after thinking about it a bit more. Your clip still has the first few seconds on it and I don't think the buff would linger for that long. Still nito either way.

I think the arrow just super accurately hit the metal parts on the caestus, while it was moving towards the arrow. which explains why it would deflect as if it hit a shield.

flashback to that moment RWJ screamed SpoNgEBABU!! for the first time all those years ago.... ):
That deflection at 6:05 is just the arrow hitting the slope at the same time the bundle animation rolled, and then flipped past the character causing the illusion of being deflected by sick caestus action, if i remember correctly that slope is one of the few places where arrows can bounce off and flip away instead of just getting stuck in the ground.
But you can still put the slope theory to the test to satiate our curiosity and prove me wrong *wink* *wink*
I'm curious also, it's my clip! I was 100% convinced it was the bundle. If arrows bounce off the roof there then it could be a discrepancy of where the arrow hit because of lag and it just happened to be as soon as I used a bundle.
Mind blown that the Sacred Bloom Shield wasn't mentioned. Since it literally reflects spells, but maybe I didn't get the premise of the video. Either way great video and can't wait to try the Caestus reflect
