I love how while Shep and Thane are running about, being all frantic and agile, Grunt is just striding forward, walking at an almost leisurely pace, taking his time as he mows down everyone in his path.

Kaiden, being Kaiden, and being alone meant that he needed back up. Only saved Ashley once, and that's cause my shepherd was romancing her at the time and was willing to sacrifice Kaiden to ensure her survival.
Grunt and thane are actually the ideal squad mates against the collectors in game: concussive shot, warp, incendiary ammo and throw. Those are ideal against barrier and armor(collectors don’t have shield). The attention to detail is astounding
I went with Garrus and Grunt. Grunt draws attention and Garrus and I take them out from afar. I played as an Infiltrator so that influences the play style.
mass effect 1 was perfect mass effect 2 was, ok. EA already ruined parts of it. like how litterly every mission is the same mass effect 3 is just a complete dissaster. EA raped and milked bioware as hard as they possibly could and destroyed one of the best series ever created
i'd say storywise ME1 did the best. its probably what made the series great in the first place. starting from me2 it became so streamlined. to bad bioware sold out to ea and now they're dead

ME1 is good but the Mako is a deal breaker. The mako makes me not want to replay the game. I'm the kind of guy who likes to get 100% or as close to it. I manage to reach my Shepard to Level 50 in my first playthrough because I explored most planets to get the minerals. After beating the game I'm hesitant to play it again because I got tired of driving that mako. The RPG element of handling the equipments is also a minus for me. I had to constantly sell duplicates because I had too many and it became rather tedious.
Mass effect 2 had bigger budget so they improved it in every aspect. It's like shiny mass effect 1. Though story telling is awesome in both when comparing. Those two games made me mass effect fan. As said somewhere in comment section ME3 was good to the point where Illusive man died. The rest felt like "hey guyz eh... so we ended up with no money after that chees cake eat-them-all challange so rush the end PLS". Citadel DLC felt like ME2 for me. Got all nostalgic and tears if you ask me.
I wish the much hyped suicide mission was actually suicidal -- making it truly difficult to have every companion survive would've made ME2's climax hit much harder. Beyond that, ME2 was a dramatic upgrade on ME1.

I really like how they show them getting shot and their shields working. Too many times we've seen games where the player characters have shields of sorts but they never even get used in the trailer. If they have body armor instead, even that won't get hit once lol.
It's really sad to see Bioware sell out to EA. The talents of Bioware in this trailer are nowhere to be found in Andromeda.. Andromeda is just a huge disappointment..
Andromeda broke my heart, I'm actually replaying through the me trilogy currently and it just makes me so sad knowing there's never going to be anything quite like this again...even Anthem was a flop :/
its been 10 years and the only game that has made me feel like Mass Effect 2 did was The Witcher 3. In 10 years only 1 other game could fill the void mass effect left on me.
They can even surpass these decade old cinematics. Modern real time RT games like Cyberpunk, Metro exodus, Control, Spider man for example. Even non RT games like RDR2, God of war, FF7 remake look better. Unfortunately EA isn't that committed. See how low effort the remaster is. Shameful.

I wish the Collectors were more explored in ME2, for example they infiltrated Blue Suns, Eclipse and Blood Pack by making a deal: "You give us humans from raids, colonies etc and in exchange we give you extra cool weapons and upgrades to your combat, biotic and tech abilities,", saving the fact that those gifts were making mercs more suspectible to their benefactors and finally making them indoctrinated, especially their leaders. For example: - 3 merc groups hate each other, right? But it would be Collectors who would play on their egos to make them join forces to take down an Archangel (whom the Collectors knew who he really was) and later convince them to continue this alliance to overthrow Aria and rule Omega. Once in total and tyrannical control of the station, they would give all human citizens to their "friends" all they wanted, completely unaware of the fact that at the same time a renegade band of Blood Pack Vorcha worked with the Collectors to kill every single non-human on Omega (except themselves of course) to become also total masters of the station and hand over human survivors to their "friends". It would make the Collectors more than just infamous Shepard killers, but also evil masterminds, who in truth unofficially controlled whole Terminus System, with Omega being one of the last places where they are not in power and for that they would want Aria dead more than anyone else.
How is it that Bioware doesn't have a film department at this point with how amazing these trailers are? They'd be practically printing money with how great their work is.
I remember watching this on the school computer in the library during lunch and i could not contain my excitement. After the mind blowing story of ME1 oh gaaaawd was i hype for 2. Bouncing in my seat at school and it did nooooot disappoint. Here i am 10 years later still blown away by this trailer.
+Colter Tolman yup exactly my thoughts. it has everything, good gameplay, good story, minigames (when you would hack a terminal f.e.) and the end was just perfectly done. in comparison to that. ME3 lacked so many things. and the end seems to rushed. (but still, the apartment dlc was awesome. they did a great job on it)
Still remains one of the best game trailers out there - intense and enthralling. And we know the game itself exceeded all expectations. Oh those impossible choices at the end....
To this day. This is the best game series I've gone thru. Even me3, some people hated the ending. I accepted that even in life we don't get the ideal outcome. But it was the best option. (For me merging synthetic and organic)

I have to be honest. First time I played this game and it stands with few in the leauge of best video games of all time. Probably in the top 10 and in the top 3 for rpgs. Gonna finish 3 now and then replay them again and then go on to the remaster.

I went with Jack (Squad Warp Ammo) & Miranda (Cerberus Officer +15% weapon damage). Mopped up everything on insanity.
Miranda is the best squad member i believe for her powers. Then i have Grunt as my tank, he’s the hardest to take down

I remember watching this on the school computer in the library during lunch and i could not contain my excitement. After the mind blowing story of ME1 oh gaaaawd was i hype for 2. Bouncing in my seat at school and it did nooooot disappoint. Here i am 10 years later still blown away by this trailer.

ME3 lacked so many things. and the end seems to rushed.

To this day. This is the best game series I've gone thru. Even me3, some people hated the ending. I accepted that even in life we don't get the ideal outcome. But it was the best option. (For me merging synthetic and organic)

I agree with you there. ME2 is the best f.... game in the universe. I've played through it at least 20 times. And I haven't regretted a single playthrough.
I have to be honest. First time I played this game and it stands with few in the leauge of best video games of all time. Probably in the top 10 and in the top 3 for rpgs. Gonna finish 3 now and then replay them again and then go on to the remaster.
