How to explain mass Effect to the people you know: Mass Effect is an orgasm that is 100 hours long and only feels better and better the longer you countinue.
Mass Effect is like a relationship with a really hot girl, and things start off great, and then get even better, but suddenly sour like crazy at then end, so you agree to spend some time apart, and lately, you've made the mutual decision to start over and all the great things from before seem to be back and better than ever before, but you can't help but question if the problem that split you apart is back as well. The only thing you can do from here is just wait patiently to see if the relationship will become something amazing, or if it'll become bitter once more.
ScorchipProductions he he so true and whiles you wait patiently hoping everything goes well, Andromeda comes out and ruins your relationship. sometimes its just not ment to be. but than you wonder and maybe, just maybe, if ME4 is perfection than that orgasm you once felt can come back, but only if its perfection. if not than its time to move on.

Mass Effect 2 launch trailer is one of my favorite trailers ever! And not just "game" trailer, I'm including movie trailers as well. And the music 'Heart of Courage' used for the trailer... EPIC
@@MandalorV7 I think both of the title songs fit for both games. 2nd game trailer "Heart of Courage", for a game that has a suicide mission that you bet everything and everyone and the 3rd "Protectors of the Earth", for a game you literally fight on Earth in order to protect it and save the galaxy.
+Naz Dhillon No. It is good, but because it is a little older the gameplay is clunky and the inventory is a bit annoying. You'd find that the constant travelling in the Mako gets a bit frustrating. But, out of all three, ME1 has the best villain and story. Doing a playthrough off all three by loading the saves between each game is cool though.
+Matthew Kenealy The inventory is annoying? I think ME1 had way better inventory than ME2. You see, that's the difference between ME1 and ME2. ME1- RPG with shooter elements ME2- Shooter with RPG elements.
Andromeda is like a Mass Effect fan's amusement park. It would have never attracted any players, if not first trilogy, and it's whole purpose to prolong that feeling of playing in the Mass Effect world. Another positive thing that it's not about Shepard and they didn't ruin his character.
@@rezq9109 I mean, you do you, but I would have played it. Exploring and colonizing a new galaxy? Yes please. As for Shepard, they didn't need her to get me interested in the main player; I liked the Ryder twins. And I appreciated that it wasn't just a choice of are you a dude or a chick, they were both present and had different backgrounds. Actually, it's a shame they don't have the Andromeda trailer on here; it was honestly one of the most impressive out of the bunch. Great music choice, and nice editing. I didn't understand the hate, and I still don't. The game is enjoyable, and I've beaten it several times for different story results.
I was introduced to Mass Effect Saga as a coincidence and out of nowhere.. I buy it from a flash sale at my local Game Store, after finished installing etc i decide to watch the Trailer of the whole 3 games as a tradition sake.. Even after seing all the Trailer i still didn't have a single idea what i'm about to see or face at the game so i start the game with literally 0 Hype, 0 Expectations, nothing.. Even i have a slight idea this will be a Star Wars-like game.. But a little i knew back then, i was about to have an adventure of a lifetime in my PS3, and it was DAMN EPIC! Never before i felt empty when the Third Game Credits roll up..
I wish someone who has the time and skill could remake all of these trailers shot for shot with the legendary edition, just to show how far it has come! That person would have to be a god, much more skilled than I.
The dlc ending yes. But destroy was decent before aswell. And Well if You picked the others the reapers won so one could say its a good ending as all life Will be ”preserved”. But destroy with the dlc is and should be canon.
I loved Mass Effect 3 the most without question. It's ALWAYS about the ending with everyone though and quite honestly that's annoying. They deliberately made the ending that way so players could use a little something called "imagination" to interpret it they way they wanted to so everyone would be satisfied with their choices. There are so many different choices throughout the series that this way everyone could be happy with what they chose.
That's not my issue with it. Here are my issues with the end of ME3. 1. The Earth level is boring. Unmemorable fights and music at night (trailers were in the day), with no Suicide Mission style fleet tactics as most people expected, no physical reaper fight just use of a deus-ex-machina railgun against another destroyer (we bought this game to fight sovereign class Reaper-reapers, actual reapery reaper reaper reapers. Reapers). 2. Harbinger. Why doesn't he speak? Keith Szarabajka was doing other voice acting in ME3 anyway including one of the layers of Catalyst's voice and later voiced Harby in a multiplayer DLC trailer so that made no sense when ME2 and Arrival set him up as THE BAD GUY. No fight with him, just a zap from his laser that Shep inexplicably survives, then he flies away for no reason, never to be seen again. 3. The Illusive Man. Again no battle, in fact we never see him outside of dialogue in 2 or 3. It's like he never even existed. Sure there was the battle of wits but I expected to fight his husky corpse after he died like with Saren. Nope, just dead. 4. No explanation of what the Machine Devils are or how the Alliance are supposed to fight them after breaking the cycle. Where are the other Beings of Light? (Leviathan-made AIs like Catalyst). 5. No use of the Mako, Hammerhead or even a Grizzly. Like... the things that might actually be able to take down a reaper from the ground. 6. The refusal ending (which initially didn't even exist) is awful despite being the most logical reaction to Catalyst's options. Where's the epic last stand???
And you still have the whole galaxy in one place. How did they all live there to they fix the speed of light things (i never remember the name of those)
Actually, that couldn't be further from the truth. The original lead-writer left early in production and Mac Walters took over the duties & scrapped the ending Karpyshyn had seeded in 1 and 2 (and the books) which revolved around dark matter consuming the galaxy. 3's ending was written by Walters & Hudson, in private w/o going through Bioware's peer review process -- something that hadn't happened, according to staff writers, in any Mass Effect or Dragon Age game prior. That's why 3's ending is so full of plotholes -- well, that & how it erases all your choices & introduces a new enemy in the final 15 minutes of a 120 hour plus trilogy & gives you one ending w/ 3 or 4 slightly different variants (even with the extended cut).
I cannot believe that, in 2019, almost 3-4 years since the last time I played this game, it still gives me the shivers! This is my all time favorite game series, and I doubt it will change in the near future.
You simply don't become a fan with the thrid game. You have to play from the start to understand everything, plus it's impossible getting the right outcome if you start with the third.
Anyone here after the teaser trailer of the new mass effect?!!! Am so excited 🤩🥰 bring this series back to it's glory days! Even if Shepard isn't the MC, please give us something back of the originals ❤
never really knew anything about this series. but in dead space, there is a suit you can get that a is from this game, but only if you have played mass effect on your account. so of course I'm interested in playing this now after watching these videos
RecklessGames1 honestly no. i tried a couple times to get into it, but the story seemed really lame and the gameplay wasnt any fun. and i have heard about the bad ending so i lost ambition for this series pretty quick.
Tory did you every play it again? I, my cousin, and my brother FELT THE SAME AS YOU... at FIRST. Then one day, I decided to really invest in it. Read the menus, explore the lore, get into the codices, and really play. I played for almost 10 hours straight and implored my cousin and bros to highly invest in the game, because IT DEMANDS it. They followed my lead and completed the whole trilogy and we include ourselves among those who say "BEST... EVER!" I hope you got back into it!
Personally, I think ME3 is the best one, if only for the spectacle of the thing! It's environments are some of the most vibrant and colorful I've ever seen in a video game and the combat is everything the franchise had been building up too. And that Mordin moment... "Had to be me... someone else could have gotten it wrong..." I shed a silent tear. Yeah the ending was pretty disappointing, but I've made my peace with it... and maybe chose to go with the 'indoctrination theory' instead :P
i agree me3 was a better game but it was overshadowed by peoples reaction to the ending. I didnt find the ending to be that bad myself even the orignal endings. Yes it could have been alot better but it could also in turn been alot worse! Most people forget that with multiple endings comes along with it alot of difficulties in ensuring no plot wholes aswell as making sure people like it.
ive read a decent amount of player complaints about the ending mind you not all of them and i find alot of them are being to whats the word perfectionist. For example i read one that said how did the rest of the crew get back on normandy? talking about the original ending btw. I mean common sense says obviously they were picked up.
why did they not show that? better question is why would they need to? seems to me showing them being picked up would just be a filler cutscene. But they did fix it in the new endings. they showed them being picked up.
every1hasnames Agreed. Since I played all of them in 2013, My fate never encountered with the original endings, so the only endings I know are the extended cut ones. I went with the best ending possible(IMO). Which is the destroy ending with 4000+ EM. And I liked it. I mean, after I read so many posts with people shouting: "IT'S STILL A SHITTY ENDING! " I was surprised it wasn't that bad. I guess people just want a "happy ending" because everything nowadays that doesn't end happy or bittersweet, is "shitty" >__> There are still people bitching about the endings, and I'm just tired of seeing it.
I think you have a fair point Ummie, but in mass effect's case I personally don't believe that was the issue. People didn't necessarily want a 'happy' ending, people just wanted closure, for which many fans believe the ending didn't provide. There's a beautiful irony to be had amongst all the hatred, I think very few of us see it for what it truly is.
the me1 trailers graphics doesn’t do it any justice but fuck its a great game. holy fuck the me2 trailer is fucking epic. mass effect 3. now that’s a fucking trailer, you can’t truely understand the series without having the fleet show up behind you or running to the conduit and to…. if you know you know.
When I saw the first screenshot in Electronic Gaming Monthly (of Mass Effect) before the internet really existed, I knew I had to have the game. I preordered Mass Effect 1, and have been a fan of Mass Effect ever since. Bioware is my favourite game developer and I can't wait till Mass Effect 4 on Xbox One.
Hunterr! I would imagine there will be a 360 version given it's the same engine as used in Battlefield 4 and I believe that is out for the 360 they won't be abandoning the 360 or PS3's yet at least not for I would say another couple of years as people are still making the transition over to PS4 and XB1
😂 I don't know how many times Commander Shepard said "We will stop them" "I will stop them" "We won't stop at nothing" "I'll find a way to stop them" through the trilogy 😂
If this trilogy gets remastered like the leaks say I'm going to scream like a little girl who got a pony for Christmas. And I'm not talking Better graphics I'm talking like final fantasy 7 levels of remake at least for one. One was great but I'm replaying it and well.... It hasn't exactly aged well.
@@patricknnt1301 but it has needed the most work. They’re gonna make sure everything looks perfect with that game, it’s gonna look completely different. It’s not a remake obviously but a huge graphical upgrade, I can’t wait to see it!
Just finished the trilogy. For me, Mass Effect 2 was the best out of the trilogy. Always wondered why people hate the Mass Effect 3 ending. Now I know why. I chose the destroy ending only so that Shepard could live. If Shepard was able to still be alive in the synthesize ending, I would have chosen that since that seems to be the noble, life lasting and peaceful ending. In the Destroy ending, you may destroy the reapers but you kill all synthetics like EDI and the Geth and like the blue kid said, future generations will build synthetics only to repeat this. Assuming control of the reapers could be risky considering that it may control Shepard eventually like it did with Illusive man. The synthesize ending seems to be the better ending but it would have been a perfect ending had Shepard lived in that ending. I mean, humans could coexist between the synthetics like EDI and the Geth. Not to mention that the reapers help in rebuilding life back again. Synthetic ending + Shepard living would have been the best ending. Hands down!
Do you know about the indoctrination theory? That makes the ending great. Angryjoeshow did a good video on it that is not too long like the others if you don't know what it is.
Patrick barbosa doesn't matter maybe he was a fool cuz in mass effect 1&2 you can't reload your weapon as I know. And I haven't played 1&2 they're so boring & I waste my money by purchasing trilogy!!!
man the real ending is not even like this mass effect 3 ending search about mass effect dark energy and the producer and you will know basically the reason for the reapers
I feel that Bioware could have done better music for these trailers than Two Steps from Hell. The soundtrack for the ME series is a lot better than what they had on these trailers.
ending is.. something more, than you think.. it's up to us to think about what's happen and how. to think from different angles and.. wait a moment, when in some other mass effect game someone will tell us truth about everything.. someday it will happen, I believe. sorry 4 my language.
Yes, terrible ending but this will force Bioware to make an epic game in Mass Effect 4. This is what is happening with Dragon Age; Dragon age 2= meh. Dragon Age 3 however looks killer.
Kasumi Goto really? They say its ready and that they're just sorting out the kinks...yet we've got no official media on the story, graphics etc. I worry when a company like EA quick release a game, I'm personally gonna hold off on this until I here it's good
The dlc's are free they fucked up and then they gave us free stuff one of which expands on the endings and makes them better. I'm not a fan of EA as a whole but seriously dude what more do you want?

@@theinsp3ctor368 I agree, I don't know why Kaidan gets so much hate.
MASS EFFECT THE BEST GAME IN HISTORY OF HUMANITY
right until bioware screwed up the ending to mass effect 3
jared barnett but the game is still one of the best I've ever played
ending is also great if you put it that way, introduction theory...
Still gives me goosebumps
Never let this trilogy ever be forgotten in the sands of time.
2021 playing legendary edition, it feel like meeting with a dear old friend!
Thank you bioware!
ME1: 8\10
ME2: 10\10
ME3: 9.5\10
ME3 with all dlcs: 20\10
Was ME 1 that bad ?
+Naz Dhillon No. It is good, but because it is a little older the gameplay is clunky and the inventory is a bit annoying. You'd find that the constant travelling in the Mako gets a bit frustrating. But, out of all three, ME1 has the best villain and story. Doing a playthrough off all three by loading the saves between each game is cool though.
+Matthew Kenealy The inventory is annoying? I think ME1 had way better inventory than ME2. You see, that's the difference between ME1 and ME2.
ME1- RPG with shooter elements
ME2- Shooter with RPG elements.
ME1 inventory was total shit. honestly ME3 felt too rushed... however I never got to leviathan and citadel dlc, so I need to experience it myself
DrNark420 ME1 inventory wasn't shit. It was actually a real RPG inventory. Kinda like Skyrim. Except this is much older.
2018 and I just simply can’t get over this emotional rollercoaster of a game all the memories 😔
I will seriously never get tired of this series. Yes, even Andromeda, I enjoyed it too.
I’m glad some enjoyed Andromeda, it’s enjoyable in its own way.
I love how each trailer captures the soul of each game perfectly
jesus christ the trailer for the 3rd one is absolutely spine tingling as fuck
the best videogame series of all time
I only played Dragon Age and now I am starting Mass Effect. Wish me luck!
Anyone else itching to replay the trilogy again?
Mass Effect 1: Discover the Threat
Mass Effect 2: Analyze the Threat
Mass Effect 3: All Out War against the Threat!
2s ending should have played a much bigger part of 3.
Who's behind the edit of the ME2 Trailer is my eternal hero, the most well-done edit/sync I ever sow on video games and movies. Congratulations!
My dad recommended I play this and these trailers convinced me I had to, so wish me luck 😁
What the heck is a non binary. Computer speak?
the trailer of me2 and me3 still gives me chills specially me3
I wish someone who has the time and skill could remake all of these trailers shot for shot with the legendary edition, just to show how far it has come! That person would have to be a god, much more skilled than I.
Almost a year and "Leaving Earth" still gives me goosebumps.
I have come back after 9 god damn years and it still hits me in the feels the same way it did the first time
Am I the only one who loved the ending? I thought it was outstanding, the best ending to any game Ive ever played, and Ive played a lot of games.
The dlc ending yes. But destroy was decent before aswell. And Well if You picked the others the reapers won so one could say its a good ending as all life Will be ”preserved”. But destroy with the dlc is and should be canon.
I played the trilogy like ten times now and im still watching trailers
This makes me cry. What did we do to deserve such magnificent art
Apparently this Shepard did the Ash/Miranda/Ash play-through. And some Renegade.
"JOIN US! , A submission not preferable to extinction?" - Sick line from Saren.
Where's the epic last stand???
chiffmonkey and all of that really is just scratching the surface
And you still have the whole galaxy in one place. How did they all live there to they fix the speed of light things (i never remember the name of those)
chiffmonkey taking down a Reaper with a Mako ????? hahahahah
Why they put Wreav on the trailer? HE SUCKS, WREX FTW!
My thoughts exactly
true piece of art, thank u bioware
I cannot believe that, in 2019, almost 3-4 years since the last time I played this game, it still gives me the shivers! This is my all time favorite game series, and I doubt it will change in the near future.
you're one of us ME fans now :) playing the 3 games straight through is a real treat. i envy you.
"If you're not a fan, now is the time to start"
That was one of the biggest problems with the third game.
You simply don't become a fan with the thrid game. You have to play from the start to understand everything, plus it's impossible getting the right outcome if you start with the third.
yea i will probably be halfshit confused if i play the game from the third
More than a game series, a legendary story.
ME1-best graphics (back in those days) ME2- best game in the series ME3-best soundtracks in the series
I can agree with that
We can add best gameplay to ME3 since the combat was fucking great
Derp Mcderpinton
yeah that also true but only for the trilogy...i mean there was many games which had better combat system in that time
Erik Varga
Yeah i was just talking about the trilogy
Erik Varga no me 2 has best soundtrack
My all-time favourite game series. Played every class, over and over, and still can't get enough.
Anyone here after the teaser trailer of the new mass effect?!!! Am so excited 🤩🥰 bring this series back to it's glory days! Even if Shepard isn't the MC, please give us something back of the originals ❤
ME trailer verbs: Epic, More Epic, Most Epic.
never really knew anything about this series. but in dead space, there is a suit you can get that a is from this game, but only if you have played mass effect on your account. so of course I'm interested in playing this now after watching these videos
Wow
did you end up liking the series?
He probably killed himself after that horrible ending haha ;P
I guess people just want a "happy ending" because everything nowadays that doesn't end happy or bittersweet, is "shitty" >__>
There are still people bitching about the endings, and I'm just tired of seeing it.
I love that they stuck with Two Steps from Hell for the trailers.
I just finished ME3 Legendary.......AWESOME!!!!
I love them all but I miss the planet exploration with Mako Vehicle.
+jesusr925 Mako is a shit
whatever you say.
+jesusr925 We'll be able to explore with the Mako again in Andromeda!
the me1 trailers graphics doesn’t do it any justice but fuck its a great game.
holy fuck the me2 trailer is fucking epic.
mass effect 3. now that’s a fucking trailer, you can’t truely understand the series without having the fleet show up behind you or running to the conduit and to…. if you know you know.
When I saw the first screenshot in Electronic Gaming Monthly (of Mass Effect) before the internet really existed, I knew I had to have the game. I preordered Mass Effect 1, and have been a fan of Mass Effect ever since. Bioware is my favourite game developer and I can't wait till Mass Effect 4 on Xbox One.
agreed although it'll be PC for me going along with 1, 2 and 3
Will it be on 360? I am saving for the xbox one but its gonna take a while.
Hunterr! I would imagine there will be a 360 version given it's the same engine as used in Battlefield 4 and I believe that is out for the 360 they won't be abandoning the 360 or PS3's yet at least not for I would say another couple of years as people are still making the transition over to PS4 and XB1
Hunterr!
Yeah, it will be on all platforms- including PS3/Xbox 360. Still, I would rather play it on Xbox One- simply for the graphics upgrade.
Kasumi Goto Yeah I agree
😂 I don't know how many times Commander Shepard said "We will stop them" "I will stop them" "We won't stop at nothing" "I'll find a way to stop them" through the trilogy 😂
just completed the trilogy for the first time today, knew nothing going in and it may be the greatest thing I've ever played.
It's getting a remaster.
@@patricknnt1301 but it has needed the most work. They’re gonna make sure everything looks perfect with that game, it’s gonna look completely different. It’s not a remake obviously but a huge graphical upgrade, I can’t wait to see it!
Update the remaster is nearly here.
Yea boi
even the trailer wants ash dead
Best trilogy in the history of trilogies!!!!
One of the greatest trilogies ever made
Mass effect 1: A SciFi original film
Mass effect 2: action block buster of the summer
Mass Effect 3: shooting for an Oscar
Sebastian Joseph No bro mass effect 3 is the best!!!!
Elyas Dost boring ? mass effect 2 is the best game from the trilogy
The first trailer was so awkward. I'm glad they learned for the next two games. Two steps from hell rocks
I feel that Bioware could have done better music for these trailers than Two Steps from Hell. The soundtrack for the ME series is a lot better than what they had on these trailers.
Was thinking exactly the same thing.
I slap you *slaps you*
I Hit you *Smashes your face with a chainsword*
1 - epic, 2 - so epic , 3 - so very very much epic
Love the fact that they used music from Two Steps from Hell in the trailers. great energy
best game ever.
😀😀😀
Started from the bottom...
to much epic in 5 minutes i think im gonna..asfadsgans;o
I just did asfadsgans;o'ed
ME2 and ME3 trailers are made so epic by the music. Cant wait to play ME3 now that ive seen the launch trailer.
I still get the chills watching these after all this time, greatest series ever. Period.
I really hope Andromeda has an awesome launch trailer too
Lol
I like how they picked Kaiden in the first trailer.. Kaiden is canon! j/k
Yeah, all my friends picked Ashley but I always liked Kaidan most^^
like who watching in 2015!!!
i am just watching it and it is still epic and awesome.
Just started downloading 1 & 2 but i have already finished 3.
FellowMageCZ Can you play as a girl in 1 & 2?
I'm watching it from 2265 still epic shit.
Ryltar the second trailer is by far the best, i downloaded it and kept watching it over and over again and i love the song also.
Im with you bro, yesterday i started playing the whole series again.
well done, ME is a monumental series, love all 3 :-)
Bioware obviously wanted shepard and ashley to be the canon relationship, they have them making love every trailer, lol
Dem goosebumps
I know!!!
My favborite cutscenes 5:02
😂
ME for teh win
Garrus in Mass Effect 1: conflicted cop.
Mass Effect 2: Vigilante with haunting memories.
Mass Effect 3: An avatar of war and fury made manifest.
The only reason I hope you are reborn is that I could experience the whole triology again :D
so I just beat the first game and had know idea you could have sex...
feelsbadman :(
same xD Realized it in the 2nd.
Same lol i knew about the scenes but not how to trigger them. My first playthrough i literally didnt talk to anyone outside of missions
EA
Makes a terrible ending to ME3
Then responds to criticsm by putting out two free multiplyer DLCs
and a free single plyer DLC
Fuck logic
ending is.. something more, than you think.. it's up to us to think about what's happen and how. to think from different angles and.. wait a moment, when in some other mass effect game someone will tell us truth about everything.. someday it will happen, I believe. sorry 4 my language.
Yes, terrible ending but this will force Bioware to make an epic game in Mass Effect 4. This is what is happening with Dragon Age; Dragon age 2= meh. Dragon Age 3 however looks killer.
Kasumi Goto
really? They say its ready and that they're just sorting out the kinks...yet we've got no official media on the story, graphics etc. I worry when a company like EA quick release a game, I'm personally gonna hold off on this until I here it's good
The dlc's are free they fucked up and then they gave us free stuff one of which expands on the endings and makes them better. I'm not a fan of EA as a whole but seriously dude what more do you want?
Man that first trailer was bad. Second one though, wow.
NEVER MIND BLAIR BEING CALLED HEART OF THE TIGER, SHEPHERD IS THE REAL HEART OF THE TIGER!!!
I’m so excited to play mass effect for the first time
