Some Atlantic Silversides will have an iridescent blue near the gill plate under certain lighting. Rough Silversides, a more exotic species will have a little more of that blue, but will also have little lines of black dots going down the upper back of the fish that actually feel a little rough to touch
spray paint the sides of the tank black for better background to isolate and enhance the subject
Since the upload of this video I purchased a new phototank from a friend of mine that has a black background. The photos come out much better now!
So what would a silverside with blue on it mean? Because I caught on that had bright blue on it.
