  • In Hebrew Gospel Pearls #17, Lost Verses of the Beatitudes, Nehemia and Keith discuss the mystery of the two missing verses in Shem Tov’s Hebrew Matthew, why it’s a mistake to think that Yeshua came preaching a completely new message, and how a famous translation mix up led to a catastrophe that shook the world.

So glad to see another one come out! I was scouting around for another installment of Manuscript Mysteries as well, it's the only reason I have been checking out Shabbat Night Live. If Yeshua hated Torah so much, why did he live every moment of his life according to it? We are called to walk as he walked and to live as he lived, not the opposite. Live by Yehovah's Teaching and Instructions! If there is a prophet that does genuine miracles but he teaches you to go against what Yehovah has instructed, he is a false prophet. "I come not to do away with the law/Torah but to fulfill (make done in abundance)!"

Thanks to Nehemia, I stumbled upon Joe Dumond very recently and then watched a Shabbat where Keith actually came on! Kudos to Keith for having true patience as a man named Edgar, who I believe mistakenly thinks of Ladino (Judaeo-Spanish characterized with Hebrew letters) as actual Hebrew, was very harsh towards him. Keith just smiled and pushed on through. Love you both and I pray that Yehovah would bless the two of you greatly.

Nice word search at 17:00 min... thank you both for all your awesome work! As a Greek-speaking student of Scripture, I know that the word δικαιοσύνη (easiest pronunciation is 'thee-ke-o-SEE-nee') also carries multiple nuances, just like the Hebrew 't-sta-KA' (tzedakah). In Greek, the female root δίκη (THEE-kee) & the one who practices THEE-kee, which happens to be the male δίκαιος (THEE-kae-os), even suggests a more judicial meaning: fair, just, right, lawful, scale-balanced, etc... not necessarily 'righteous' in English, which carries quite a different meaning, unfortunately, especially in modern times. If someone is going to spiritually 'hunger or thirst' for anything (Matt 5:6 - as their heart's cry before the Throne of the Most High), it's going to be in the context of starving for divine fairness & justice, as referenced throughout Scripture. Even the English KJV 'filled' doesn't quite support the Greek 'χορτασθήσονται' (those who will be filled). This word specifically refers to being physically satisfied with FOOD, as a remedy to physical starvation. Very interesting stuff indeed. Thanks again for the deep-dive into Matthew 5!

No critically thinking person thinks that Yeshua/Jesus didn't use previously expressed ingredients for his evolved message. Just like how elementary school builds on kindergarten and Middle School builds on those and high school builds on those and University etc. The Old Testament is like kindergarten with its black-and-white rules and the New Testament builds on that with more mature subtleties.

After reading some of the comments here and listening to some of Nehemia's explanations of Hebrew for many years, I think one of the biggest stumbling blocks for Jews is their unwillingness to surrender their opinions about verses in Tanak and just accept the text as it's written. We can read that Yehovah is invisible, yet Abraham sat with Him, ate with Him and negotiated with Him in a very visible form. We read that Manoah bowed down to Him and Gideon also met Him in the form of a person. Not to mention the 4th One in the fiery furnace. If we are surrendered and if we are without an agenda, we must conclude that Yehovah has a form that is invisible and a form that is very visible and that visible form is in a man-like body recognized as such. (In other words, not an animal form or other type form) If we don't conclude this from Tanak, then we must be bringing an agenda to the text that is causing us to ignore what we're reading.
In that vein, the surrendered person who studies looks for other places where Yehovah or His attributes are mentioned. His "Messenger" (same word used in the convo with Abraham) can pardon sin (Ex 23) as well. Wow! Only GOD CREATOR can pardon someone for the breaking of the very standard HE put in place if your understanding of God is that He is supreme above all. And throughout Tanak, it is only Yehovah who rides on the waves (Job) or gives sight to the blind (Isaiah) or gathers the sheep "Myself" (Ezekiel) or is the only Savior (Isaiah) or is Alef/Tav. Yet every single witness of the events of the 1st century heard a message from the heavens about this "Savior" and saw those very attributes manifest in miracles performed by a person and heard words declaring to be the fulfillment of prophecy. Is that just coincidence? That Tanak would tell us there is only one Savior and it's Yehovah but a message comes from heaven that there "is born" a Savior? Is it even possible that a human could have read the Tanak and made himself out to be a guy who could do what Tanak described? OF COURSE NOT!
Theretofore, setting aside every agenda to the contrary, we must conclude that the same Yehovah who has had a human (man-like) form since Gen 18, is the same Yehovah who performs the tasks set forth in Tanak that only Yehovah could do. In other words, there is something way more connected between Yehovah and Yehoshua than just Father and Son. (Can't be two "firsts" or "lasts." It's impossible) If Yehovah is the ONLY Savior, then what in the world is the Throne Room doing calling the baby born this day in the city of David, "Savior"? Well..............we have to surrender to what we're reading don't we? Didn't Isaiah already tell us what to expect from this servant of Yehovah? Didn't Isaiah tell us of a very significant birth and death and what that death would do for mankind? Isn't that the very definition of "savior"? Didn't this whole message play out in the constellations as it was supposed to according to Genesis 1 and Psalm 19? Wasn't the very sign put in the heavens in the form of the greater light, given to declare this message? What day was this light created? What day (millennial week) was the man Yehoshua created? What did that greater light do every year like clockwork to signal to anyone and everyone on earth that there is a message in those happenings? And what birth of a very special delivery replete with angelic celebration coincided with one of those marked events of the greater light? Even Zechariah (John's father) made the connection. Shouldn't we do so as well? Shouldn't we just accept the text? Shouldn't Nehemia accept what Tanak is saying and then that will lead to accepting what was declared from the heavens that night? IN other words, since Nehemia likes to quote the passage from the Emmaus road, shouldn't Nehemia realize that he himself is "slow and foolish to believe all that the prophet's wrote" just like those guys were? SLOW AND FOOLISH! The answer is "yes" he should set aside his agenda and accept the text, even the words in Tanak that he's ignoring.. "46 If you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for He wrote about Me. 47 But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?” (John 5:46-47)

It's truly woeful that the 1st tribe who have known the Creator of everything, is now the last to understand his pronouncements. It's quite ironic, that the spirit of entitlement and self interests blinded the majority of his supposed people. But this is not new, infact it is prophetic.
Psalm 118:22-26 - THE STONE THAT THE BUILDERS REJECTED HAD BECOME THE CHIEF CORNERSTONE.
23 This has come from Jehovah; It is wonderful in our eyes.
24 This is the day that Jehovah has made; We will be joyful and rejoice in it.
25 Jehovah, save us, please, we beg! Jehovah, grant us victory, please!
26 BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF JEHOVAH; WE BLESS YOU FROM THE HOUSE OF JEHOVAH.
Matthew 21:42-44 - Jesus said to them: “Did you never read in the Scriptures, ‘The stone that the builders rejected, this has become the chief cornerstone. This has come from Jehovah, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?
43 This is why I say to you, the Kingdom of God will be taken from you and be given to a nation producing its fruits.
44 Also, the person falling on this stone will be shattered. As for anyone on whom it falls, it will crush him.”
John 17:11, 21 - “I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, watch over them ON ACCOUNT OF YOUR OWN NAME, WHICH YOU HAVE GIVEN ME, so that they may be one just as we are one.
21 so that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, SO THAT THE WORLD MAY BELIEVE THAT YOU SENT ME."
Haggai 2:7 - “‘AND I WILL SHAKE ALL THE NATIONS, AND THE PRECIOUS THINGS OF ALL THE NATIONS WILL COME IN; and I will fill this house with glory,’ says Jehovah of armies.
Psalm 86:9 - All the nations that you made Will come and bow down before you, O Jehovah, And they will give glory to your name.
Isaiah 2:2 - In the final part of the days, The mountain of the house of Jehovah Will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, And it will be raised up above the hills,
And to it all the nations will stream.
Acts 10:34, 35 - At this Peter began to speak, and he said: “NOW I TRULY UNDERSTAND THAT GOD IS NOT PARTIAL,
35 BUT IN EVERY NATION THE MAN WHO FEARS HIM AND DOES WHAT IS RIGHT IS ACCEPTABLE TO HIM.
In the end, God is fair to all people no matter the race we belong, we are all his creations. And that only the meek ones have the greater chances of salvation.

@@bmjjjja the son is his own being, read John 17:1. Also,
Matthew 3:17 - Look! Also, a voice from the heavens said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.”
Mark 1:1-3 - The beginning of the good news about Jesus Christ, the Son of God:
2 Just as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: “(Look! I am sending my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way.)
3 A voice of one crying out in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of Jehovah! Make his roads straight.’”
Thus, do not make a new persona of God that was not approved by the scripture, a common fault by the people who claimed to be Christians.
Jesus is the fulfillment of the torah/law, read Matthew 5:17.
Luke 22:29 - and I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom,
Matthew 26:28 - for this means my ‘blood of the covenant,’ which is to be poured out in behalf of many for forgiveness of sins.
Hebrews 9:15 - That is why he is a mediator of a new covenant, in order that because a death has occurred for their release by ransom from the transgressions under the former covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the everlasting inheritance.
Hebrews 8:6 , 7 - But now Jesus has obtained a more excellent ministry because he is also the mediator of a correspondingly better covenant, which has been legally established on better promises.
7 If that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need for a second.
Who is Jesus before he came to earth?

@@ruth7er If Yehoshua is not the Father who was the husband married to the house of Israel and then died to release her from the covenant of marriage, then she cannot return. This is the mystery solved by Paul (Rom 7). As well, and like I said previously, it is impossible for there to be two firsts (alefs) and two lasts (tav). It's impossible for Yehovah to be the "only Savior" and then comes another. It's impossible for ONLY Yehovah to ride on the waves, bind up the broken hearted, give sight to the blind, forgive sin, etc etc and then ignore all of that to go with a narrative that another did it as well. It's impossible for a man to die for the sins of another man. Yehoshua IS THE FATHER dwelling in human flesh. "He shall be called Almighty God, Everlasting Father...." Yehoshua is His name bc He is Yehovah's salvation. He was there from the beginning. He is the physical body of the Father and has already been seen by Abraham. Our Father's image is of an unseen being, with a body (Yehoshua) and a spirit (Holy Spirit). I didn't say this, the Bible does. And it's confirmed in the fact that we have a soul, body and spirit as well; the same blueprint.

@@bmjjjja it can be observed in the many accounts in Old Testament that Jehovah God sent messengers/spirit angels but bearing His name. Example was when Abraham dined with two angels and one represented as Jehovah, while on the next scene Lot and his family were saved by the two angels and one spoke as Jehovah.
Because no man has seen God and yet live.
John 1:18 - No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is at the Father’s side is the one who has explained Him.
It's like a messenger from the King visiting a far land, but with the seal carrying the King's name and is authorized to carry the laws instituted by the King.
Careful to not mixed the being of the son to that of his Father God, and so to avoid blasphemy.
Phillipians 2:5, 6, 8 - "Keep this mental attitude in you that was also in Christ Jesus,
6 who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.
8 More than that, when he came as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to the point of death, yes, death on a torture stake."
John 5:26, 27 - "For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself.
27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because he is the Son of man.

Yes the law is and will forever be important. Including sabbaths, feasts, etc.
It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute 👉 for ever.👈
      Leviticus 16:31 KJV
Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the Lord continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an 👉 everlasting covenant👈.
      Leviticus 24:8 KJV
Behold, I build an house to the name of the Lord my God, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the Lord our God. Leviticus 7:36 KJV
And this shall be an👉 everlasting👈 statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the Lord commanded Moses.
      Leviticus 16:34 KJV
We are grafted into Israël, there will be no Jew or Gentile. Just one people, Israël.
I believe the Jews are what the bible calls the house of Judah. (Tribe of Judah and Benjamin) And we are the 10 other scattered tribes of the (northern) House of Israël.
Once you see that, the whole bible comes to life and makes more sense, more cohesive. It really is a love story. All the puzzle pieces fall together, it's really amazing.
Jim Staley has an amazing video about this called Identity Crisis.
God is calling His people, He is waking them up to this, one by one. Just as He said He would. And He is bringing us back, writing the law on our hearts:
❤ Behold, the days come, saith the Lord , that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel❗, and with the house of Judah:
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord :
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord , I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord : for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord : for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Thus saith the Lord , which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name:
If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord , then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
Thus saith the Lord ; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the Lord .
      Jeremiah 31:31‭-‬37 KJV
The years of our punishment and why God has scattered us are over. He divorced us because we followed other gods (adultry) and scattered us as punishment across the nations (gentiles) where we would forget. Now He is waking us up.
This is this prophecy of Jeremiah:
❤ They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted?
but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the Lord .
Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and see where thou hast not been lien with.
In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness.
Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
Wilt thou not from this time cry unto me, My father, thou art the guide of my youth? Will he reserve his anger for ever? will he keep it to the end?
Behold, thou hast spoken and done evil things as thou couldest. The Lord said also unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done?
she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot. And I said after she had done all these things, Turn thou unto me.
But she returned not. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it. And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.
And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah hath not turned unto me with her whole heart, but feignedly, saith the Lord .
And the Lord said unto me, The backsliding Israel hath justified herself more than treacherous Judah.
Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord ; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord , and I will not keep anger for ever.
Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord .
Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord ; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord , they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord : neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.
At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the Lord ; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the Lord , to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.
In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.
But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.
Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the Lord .
A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the Lord their God.
Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the Lord our God.
Truly in vain is salvation hoped for from the hills, and from the multitude of mountains: truly in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel.
For shame hath devoured the labour of our fathers from our youth; their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.
We lie down in our shame, and our confusion covereth us: for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even unto this day, and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God
      .

Question is, when will you accept Jesus as your savior?
When will you, the bloodline of Israel, stop denying him, for the atonement of your sins?
This year is a very important year. If you're watching the bible chronology, then this is the right time to heed on the accounts of Daniel and take your supposed sits, or stay spiritual dead for eternity in God's sight.
Present yourselves as a gift towards God, infront of the now God's spiritual people. You will never know how happy we all going to be, to welcome you in Jehovah's glory.
Know that God will never force you to love him, but for you to willingly follow his ordinances with love.

@@nunyabiz5880 that's right. See the parallels on the events in Jonah's time with today's modern time.
Check how Jonah rigorously preached to the people and their impending destruction in 40 days.
Check how God forgiven the people of Nineveh, while Jonah reduced in person's shame for the unfulfilled prophecy. Upon which, he probably thought, he'll be labeled as a false prophet by his own people for preaching destruction of Nineveh but did not happen.
Notice how God understands Jonah's anxieties, comforted him and in turn remembered by Jesus as God's prophet.

    You delve into the Greek.
The Hebrew צדקה transliterated to Greek would include dikaio, this portion is the Hebrew. You need to take account of the Greek vowels which can approximate Hebrew phonetically. Additionally, the Tzade sound is missing from the front of the word. Check the preceding word for transliteration ifnTzade. Thv could be a corruption, the hv being added. Preceding the hv, there is the Sigma Tau, this may be the transliteration for Tzade.
This method can be used in other Septuagint verses to verify this repeating pattern of transliteration. This particular word structure may have been divided incorrectly by a Greek only copyist trying to correct the “Greek”.

In this particular comment(s) I need to ask why anyone keeps using the word JEW! It doesn’t exist in Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic, Greek!?
The word should say Yahudim. Sorry I had to say something because I have for several years now devoted much time to learn the proper pronunciations of Hebrew words. Specifically the Paleo. I was trying to understand the primary reason as to why the modern hebrew and paleo are so different. After learning that the modern or as I call them flame letters are a mixture of Babylon and Hebrew hence the reason I study more of the paleo which I believe is the more pure version of Hebrew. And lastly I completely disagree with the name for the Father you suggest. However to be totally fair historically it’s states that the Nikkud in hebrew were used for vowels were placed in the writings to help with pronunciation and spelling. However I don’t believe this because of what Math 5:18 says.

JEW is the unfortunate English transliteration of the Greek 'EE-OU' or 'EE-YOU' (which is shortform for Ιουδαίοι - ee-ou-DAE-ee). Just like the English word 'Jesus'. The hard 'j' sound in English that replaced the 'y' is very sad :(

@@alvinmann6727... hi there Alvin, I'm actually born & raised Greek, as the daughter of an Orthodox priest with a masters in Greek grammar, language studies & history. But really, it's obvious to anyone who was raised Greek, knows a little grammar & can speak the language, even if they are not educated in Apostolic Church history. I hope that helps :)
Oops, forgot to mention that the Greek word Ιουδαίοι (ee-ou-DAE-ee) *Note: the D / delta is actually pronounced as a hard 'TH' in Greek, as in the word 'the'... so, also 'ee-ou-THAE-ee'. This word actually means 'those people of Ιούδα' (ee-OU-dah or hard 'th' ee-OU-thah), which is Judah, of course. Hence, the word Jew is just a transliterated shortform & often derogatory reference to Judah in English.

@@alvinmann6727... it's actually pretty important for those studying Biblical Greek. You are 100% correct. There is no 'J' in Greek, in reference to words like Jesus. His name is written Ιησού, pronounced 'ee-ee-SU' in modern day Greek, or 'ee-ye-SU' or 'ye-SU' in Biblical Greek. No J. This is an English construct, which either replaced the 'y' sound in Yeshua way back in old English script, or it was just easier to pronounce the J instead of the soft Y. I don't know. Just speculating on that, lol. But it is interesting to note that the written letter 'f' was synonymous with 's' in old English). So really, it's just the unfortunate evolution of language. Original spellings & pronunciations are often lost in translation. Sad but true.

And they translate and understand every word from how they use it. Totally forgetting that the Bible is eastern and we are western.

It always amazes me when "teachers" of the word make some of their teachings private for those who wish to give them money in order to hear them.
Kind of like advertising the gospel as giving the milk for free, and charging for the meat. If you want the deeper instruction, you have to pay. If you want the generalized teaching, that is free.
