Mussel Farm Snapper Fishing New Zealand - Straylining, Softbaiting, Tips and Tricks

- In this video Paul and Josh head to Thames to fish for snapper in the FC 430T in the mussel farms. They have a great little session catching some nice fish on ledger rigs, soft baits and big straylined baits. The video ends with a great segment of Josh showing how to Butterfly and strayline a whole mackerel which is instantly inhaled right on cue by a massive snapper. This is another great video that is not to be missed.

Awesome day out boys, one suggestion is take a bit less ice and when you get your first fish throw a bucket of seawater or two in your chilly to make a slurry. The fish keep better because they will be completely immersed and they also stack way easier in your bin. Mint little boat 👍
