The 49ers training facility and stadium is much closer to San Jose than San Francisco.

Will United add a321neos to cleveland. Would love to see United do a transatlantic or a Hawii on them.

Very doubtful that you'll see UA serve CLE with either service you mentioned. UA would be the best contact, though (they will give you a standard "thank you for your interest" reply). Many decades ago (i.e. late 1960s) UA did have direct service to HNL. Two of the three CLE-LAX nonstop DC8S flights went on to HNL. AA also had 3 LAX nonstops during this period with 707s. Some equipment on both carriers were upgraded to DC10s after they started service in early 70s.

Hawaii would be a crazy long flight on an A321neo from Cleveland so I doubt that would ever happen. A transatlantic on the 321neo or XLR or even a 737 MAX though....maybe? I think if Frontier (who is probably the most likely based on some comments their CEO made in the past, but they're saying they aren't making money right now so who knows) actually went to Europe, maybe then UA would want to defend their turf but some of that would depend on if the state subsidized it like they are the Aer Lingus route. I kind of doubt UA ever goes back to Europe from CLE but I guess it is possible. More than likely a route like that would come from either BA, AF, LH being subsidized by the state, or something like Play, Icelandair, Norse, etc doing a low cost flight over the pond. Hawaii non stop I don't think that ever happens unless Hawaiian really expanded, but for UA its easier to fly nonstop to SFO, DEN, LAX or IAH and then transfer to a HNL flight. I'm not even sure offhand if EWR, IAD, ORD or even IAH or DEN have a nonstop route to Hawaii on UA but I could be wrong. I am pretty sure that there isnt one from IAD though.

@@NickFliesMediaUA does fly nonstop from their 7 USA hubs; but they are dropping the EWR service next April.
