I just love the little color details on the white dress shirt that make it seem to glow....just stellar subtle worldbuilding and it's never mentioned in the book. chef's kiss
The "...I made you a promise, Marko." line , when you know the context (Devil's Reign: Moon Knight), is seriously one of the coolest and most badass moments I've ever read in any comic.

- Honestly agree about the TV show! While I really enjoyed it, most people watching seemed to be all about Stephen, and I just wanted more time with Marc Spector & Moon Knight!

If Batman ever picked up a gun anyone who’s not bullet proof would be praying he didn’t come after them, moon knight with a gun isn’t a match for Batman WITHOUT a gun let alone with. Just check out grim knight for how that goes down.
@protalghulnist4126 no I'm not saying he can't body moonknight we ALL know what dc allows batman to do. I mean in the sense of instilling fear I feel like moonknight would do it in a real life situation better than batman. There's no moral highground he basically does what he wants when he wants. Batman won't slit your throat with a toy he made in the name of the moon god.
@@lazyperfection In a real life scenario moon knight doesn't work as a vigilante when he's got 3 plus different people in his head, he'd hurt himself more than any criminal.

I’m putting my money on Black Spectre turning out to be Frenchie Duchamp, Marc’s old pilot and buddy from his merc days. His was a big character in the old Moon Knight comics, but I’m not sure what happened to him, other than he is out of Marc’s life now, same as his old flame Marlene. I’m going with Frenchie, because apparently they’ve had a falling out, and he’s seen all the bad things Marc Spector has done as both Moon Knight and pre Moon Knight. If it is Frenchie, I can see why they would call this story arc the last days of Moon Knight, since his old friend turning on him would kinda break Marc Spector in a way I don’t think a lot of run of the mill villains would.

Surprisingly I always liked 8 ball. He was a goofy b tier villain at best but he was funny. And kind of identifiable. I could feel for his silly gimmicks to get his life back on track. But picking a fight with Sleep Walker was just nuts. I'm glad he and moon knight get along thought. Possible redemption time for a long forgotten bad dude.
He leaves his name at every crime he commits. It’s literally his Zodiac Sign.
This art style is just insane.
I love how they draw moon knight. This artist gives him a really mysterious air.
Gotta say, he really is such a hard core Batman rip off outside of his actual character. Moonarangs? The moonboat? Like come on lol.
That being said, he really is a cool character to see. With all the super powered beings and weirdos he has to deal with, it's refreshing to see a normal guy* actually kill when neccisary.
*as normal as you can call him, anyway.
Moon Knight is actually closer to Azrael and Rorschach, than Batman. They have this form of schizophreniform disorder where they can't tell reality from imagination, and a DID split personality disorder. Batman has an alter-ego not a DID. The only "Batman" thing that Moon Knight have is the "resources" but even then it could be just his imagination as seen in the comics when he acted as an Avenger.
It’s not his imagination get out of here. Rorschach also never really struggled with anything like that he’s just a bit autistic and a lot nihilistic

Absolutely agree about the show. Otherwise a decent show but if it’s called moonknight don’t show me everyone else for 5x eps and the title character for 1.
Insane how dealy guys like Clayman, Plasticman, and Sandman can be just by slipping a piece of themselves in your throat and suffocating you from the inside.

Marvel's version of Clayface, like if you took Clayface and put him in Marvel... I expect it to be kind of similar to being involved in a makeup accident that granted him his powers and he would be named "Make Over." And like he is used by someone like Kingpin kind of like Cameleon to infiltrate places and things like that. Maybe even bring in a version of a character like Shade into Marvel and calling him "Shadow Sourcerer" who might fight Doctor Strange, and is used by crime lords like Kingpin, Hammer Head, Tombstone, and Mr. Negative to transport things through shadows to other locations quickly and without detection and things like that. That is what I would kind of expect from Marvel.

Ppl get pissed when you call Moonknight marvel's batman because while they have similarities they're vastly different in many respects. Nighthawk while he's a villain is more of an analogue for Batman in how he operates, gadgets, contingencies etc.

So if one of Moon Knights personalities is rich, how could he ever be strapped for cash? Or how would he even have amassed that kind of wealth if he doesnt stay that personality for long periods of time? Is there any explanation for that?

Back in the day, Moon Knight had a sidekick called Midnight…it did not end well for Midnight (Moon Knight ended ripping his face off (!) ) My advice to 8 ball 🎱 would be to join The Thunderbolts, he would live longer
