He finished moving and went back to not liking MoonKnight again. And just thinks of him as Marvels Batman.......he couldn't even help himself squeezing in that moon-shaped battarang reference. That's when I knew he was full of shit about everything and never really liked this story at all. So no vol 3. LOL!!

Funny enough after watching the moon knight series... I truly felt like it had a daredevil Netflix vibe. It was dark, intriguing, and it actually feels separate from the MCU... all the while addressing the mental situations so well... it feels like a stand alone and I loved it! It captured the comics so damn well! Great character, and I feel like marvel gave him the due he deserved!
What I would do for a Netflix show is have his different personalities interact with different characters from Jessica Jones or Daredevil, etc. So for example maybe Luke Cage knows him as jake lockley, Frank castle knows him as Marc Spector, and Claire knows him Steve lamier, and Daredevil knows him as moon Knight. I would use Konshu in a way scarab is to blue beetle.( A voice in his head that's trying to take him over). And I would give him powers but not the ones from the comics. In fact I wouldn't even really consider them powers. Basically I would have konshu paint the picture for all his personalities. That way his motive for becoming Moon Knight can keep the audience guessing if it's real or is Marc Spector is just crazy. For example, for his Moon Knight personality, maybe what he sees is himself taking down an Egyptian God trying to take over the world when in reality he taking down a big time Mob boss. (Konshu vision forced onto Marc Spector)
For his costume, have him in like a hoodie or maybe in like trench coat with a hood or maybe something Assassins Creed inspired. Or go full out mister knight.
And for his weapons instead of like moon boomerangs maybe like throwing knives. Id give him those Assassins creed hidden knives. And I'd give him guns because he's a mercenary
As someone with a mental disorder and majoring in psychology, I find this absolutely fascinating. Though even the existence of multiple personality disorder as a definable disorder is highly debated in the field of psychology, it's portrayal is interesting in this comic. The ending is beautiful the way it affirms the idea that mental disorders are almost never completely controlled or gotten rid of but rather managed and stay with a person all the time, every day; and that in spite of that, the disorder does not define you the real Marc Spectre. You deserve your own peace of mind your own happiness and no matter how crazy or unacceptable you feel in your own eyes and others' you can always find something better. Always.

We've been diagnosed with OSDD-1B, by my mother who has 30+ years medical and psychological experience, and by one of my partner's, they've got DID, works in a psychiatric ward and other wards through a medical college, see's specialist therapist's and psychiatrists about it. Apparently mum knew for quite a while that my old self diagnosis of Multiple Personality Disorder was both an incorrect, outdated term, and that it'd be better for me to find out in my own way, on our own collective terms. All of my personalities are fully autonamous, but all work together, each in their own unique way, as a collective, some conform to different aspects or variations of my physical self, others do not. A Moon Knight movie could actually be great, it would best be done as a multi-personality psychological thriller in which you don't know what's real or hallucination, with horror and ancient mythological elements that happens to have a batshit strongman in a white costume.

I think there was talks as early as Daredevil season 1 or Jessica Jones to do a Moon Knight netflix series, so I hope they come through with one. Moon Knight has always been one of those characters that has a strong cult following that can't break out. So, you have every good writer taking a crack at him hoping to make their run the break out. I guess what I do like about Moon Knight is that every arc is pretty open and shut since the runs don't last too long lol. @noblewarriorbearrock to answer your other question, yeah Khonshu is definitely real, in this story and otherwise (unless Lemiere changes that). He's been referenced by other "mystical" heroes and I believe he's appeared with the Pantheon of Gods a few times, at least in cameo.
Wasn't in Iron Fist a scene in a mental house? it would be awesome if in Iron Fist, Moon Knight was next to Iron Fist and we hear Marc Spector saying something like "let me out of here" and someone goes "Shut up Spector!".
DID understanding has changed a-lot throughout time. This episode is a great example of that with “multiple personality disorder”. I think moonknight is a master piece of something I haven’t been able to explain to my closest friends for decades with a twist of fun/out the ordinary

I really love videos like these where characters that don't get a lot of mainstream shine has a chance to bask in the spotlight. Not saying that Moon Knight isn't popular it's just that a casual comic fan may have never heard of him. Just got back into comics recently, and Lemire's Moon Knight was my very first introduction to him. Really loved this run and was sad to hear Lemire was done with it. Anyways, Moon Knight became one of my favorite comic book characters and wanted to know more. Saw your first video on Moon Knight and was like "wtf is he talking about, he is nothing like Batman!" but seeing your most recent Moon Knight videos makes me not want to dive into his earlier stuff and fearful of what is in store for him lol

It reminds me of a Neil Gaiman Sandman comic where he excuses the art transitions in the narrative as Dream walks into different people's well dreams and perceptions. I love this type of schizophrenic art design in comics.
Okay honestly seeing the way they draw Marc Spector in this comic makes me want John Krasinski to play Moon Knignt! He bares a resemblance to how they make Marc look in this series!
With MPD there is always one dominate personality who's aware of all the other personalities acting as a sort of guardian protecting the weaker ones or emerging to cope with a situation the true personality can't handle.
I totally forgot that there was a news broadcast earlier in the first volume discussing a fight between Moon Knight and Stained Glass Scarlet. Here they are making a movie featuring that fight. Also, Moon Knight as an astronaut... Genius.

I didn't know who ANYBODY but Spider-Man was but I thought the guy in the White cloak with Nunchucks was cool looking so I went as him for Halloween that year. Everybody thought I was a Flying Nun.

I actually dated a girl with multiple personalities. was rough. she did the same Spector did and essentially "wake up" and be unsure where she was or what she had done. thankfully she was self aware and worked towards trying to get rid of the 3 distinct ones she had... amazing how Psychic Driving combined with some alcohol and falling head first into a table can fracture your mind... almost seems like a super hero origin. lol

one's multiple personalities meets doesn't always solve the issue, close friend of mind has come to terms with all of hers all 6 and nothing happened, they knew about each other for while and at times work as one. tires her out but for the most part still their own people with the same life, just different slight interests and different behavior with different strengths and weaknesses.

The cartoon episode Ultimate Spiderman: the Moon Night Before Christmas is absolutely hilarious, Moon Night is nuts, he thinks the moon is talking to him, giving him orders.
Have you ever seen "Perfect Blue" by Satochi Kon? Reminds me of that film.

moon knight was on my subscription list in the'80's. I have a few large format issues. the black and white pages suited the character perfectly. would that ever happen again?

one's multiple personalities meets doesn't always solve the issue, close friend of mind has come to terms with all of hers all 6 and nothing happened, they knew about each other for while and at times work as one. tires her out but for the most part still their own people with the same life, just different slight interests and different behavior with different strengths and weaknesses.
And here we are in 2022 and I just watched 2nd episode of Moon Knight series... Great call on they should make it a series

Right on, we can say you hit the nail right on the head in ur mention of how we would react to a "netflix Moon knight" show. No netflix. But, def responded like you predicted to what I've seen of episode 1 of the New DISNEY+/Marvel Moon knight series. I love how there presenting the cuts and jumps in time and to each personality. Well the 2 so far. And LOVE the way they are doing khonshu. With the excellent voicing and the kinda, " pestered, almighty being! " personality that we've seen so far.

Do you think that this is all building up to the end of Moon Knight as a character? Because, this series, while it's totally amazing, seems to be slowly erasing everything that made Moon Knight, Moon Knight. What is his future after this series ends? I'm just asking your thoughts, I know as of the moment there's no real definitive answer
