I am so excited about your project! I have two antique crazy quilts and would love to know more about the special embroidery techniques used to create them. A few years ago I finished three separate quilt toppers that my great grandmother had made. It was such a lovely cross-generational project. Much like this one!
Thank you! Work has stalled on the squares, but hopefully soon I can start work again! For the techniques and stitches that were used, I turned to Pinterest and searched antique crazy quilt stitched, and a ton of images appeared! I screen shot them and use them for reference!
