Just a small point, Dan - I think the lap times required in the hot stint have to average below the benchmark time. So not every lap has to be below as long as the average is lower over the 7 laps :) Great video though - I'm now into rookies but I think I will skip today with it being at Paul Ricard :P

How do you know what the benchmark time is for a particular track on the license hot-stint server?
LFM totally changed how ACC feels. Now it's the best sim for GT3s for me.
I took part in rookie series several times by your vid and I really enjoyed LFM races! People in here are so clean even if it's rookie series. I have ever played iRacing over 4 years but this is absolutely fantastic racing experience.

LFM is awesome and basically the only reason I actively play ACC. Used to drive in leagues but thats quite time intensive so hopping in on a race when you have time is great. I really wonder whether Kunos would try to create something similar or make LFM an official part of the game or just let it co-exist, as the "Competition Mode" was imo more of a failure in an otherwise nice game.

I got LFM 2 months ago and qualified but I haven’t had a real race yet. Decided to give Iracing another go eventhough I think ACC is slightly better. Thank you for a good video.

I converted to Iracing..am done with ACC. Many people seems to be godlike even though i was doing all my best. Now after two months in Iracing, i have license B and am enjoying it so much! You are put into similar range as the others

Today the 21-02-2022 I can race in ACC associated with LFM Low Fuel Motorsport better than in iRacing. iRacing was already 😃 for me
It's good you taking this initiative because it is necessary. Lot of driver popping in but they need loads of help. Just seeing how they smash all marker boards and even defending whilst on an out lap impeding drivers on the mission is not funny and likely not going to end well. For the License segment servers should be limited for best results.
Im gonna install my rig to my pc and join lfm.
I really want to get serious into racing so i think acc in lfm is perfect for me.
Hoping i will have fun nut first i need to work my way into the "pc world" after all those years on xbox
Thanks Dan, I’m struggling to qualify atm. Watching this I can see I’m on pace in sector 1 losing it in sector 2 & 3. Back to practice to get those hooked up 👍🏼

same here newver got below 41.0s and atm its a flat 39.09 to get in. I cant find 2s sorry, i think its to hard to get in this is not for rookies. I am rookie playing for one month now but asking me to find 2 more sec just to get into rookie is to much. I think what they want is rookie alien drivers not rookie rookie drivers who want to get into acc as if it was iracing rookie class.
@@takosan87 that’s true but you (we) will find it.. the hardest part for me will the consistency… 7 laps without a mistake, on our limit.. 🥵🥵🥵

I found out about this recently but I've unknowingly absolutely tanked my kunos safety rating to 30 from racing against AI (I'm a sim racing noob, only 3 months).
It's a long road for me now trying to get that back up to 80 so I can get the LFM license.
I did the same and just finished. do on on spa with load of opponents (25) start in the middle and stay always close to one without touching. do a 20min race, its good to be consistent and you can get 3-4 point per race. good luck

Do i need all DLC that are listed on "DLC/Mod Content für diese Woche:" to take part of a Race DLC ?
For example these DLC are listed but two of them is just for Cars (i don´t want to drive) do I need the DLC anyway or is it good just to have the one with the required Racetrack?

Lol signed up today and couldn’t even find the race in the server list at CPR just now and missed the comp server at zandvoort. So many hoops to jump through for not much in return, wish i never attempted😂 There’s already safety ratings and consistency rating in game the only thing this might do is bring slightly cleaner racing online. Idk probably better off just doing competition server

@@DanSuzuki because all you’re doing is extra work signing in toLFM then signing up for these just to have access to 12 private servers that may or may not be populated. last night in the server list i think the highest player count i saw was 4 in a single lobby. I can’t help but feel like if kunos simply made the competition server run all day this would lose any popularity it has real quick. If it ram all day you won’t get paired with aliens every race. People say it changes the game but unfortunately i just didn’t experience that. Just wasted time really.

How do you know if you passed. Do you just remember the times or do you get Notified?

Do you know how populated are the races in non euro time zones?
Saturday and Sunday during the late morning/early afternoon very populated. 7 splits in a 11:15 am central time race. Ping is a little high from Texas but I haven't had any issues with lag, net code or disconnects. Evenings you can still get in a full race however you may find you're in the top split with the Aliens which is tough on someone with a low ELO and not much experience in the sim..... like me :)
Participation in the evening EST is awful, usually less than 10 cars. Lfm seems awesome, but I have yet to do an lfm race because I'm only free weeknights. Will need to try midday on the weekends because I see a ton of participation then.
Sorry as an outsider watching this vid... is lfm a different game than acc?

The ping is way too slow if you live anywhere but Europe. They need another server elsewhere, otherwise a great concept.

I’ve got the same issue, the website just wont record my times.
I have just done it on Zolder. Drove about 8-9 laps and checked on the LFM website and nothing.
Its trash. ACC should made a better multiplayer on their own in order to not rely on garbage like this

I don't mean to be mean?? but how do you not know Zandvoort? I've done like a thousand laps on that track in every sim. So confused. Still love you buddy and love your videos.
I hate that track so I usually just avoid it when it comes up on the schedule 😅
I can't get over 70 SA, people on the normal servers are insane and ranked races start only late in the night here in Brazil... I'm stuck
Keep going with it Monza is a messy track but I feel it very predictable in what's gonna cause an accident and what not. Regardless if that accident would be your fault.

@@MrRaphaelLippi eu ate consegui com mt custo, o problema agora ta sendo outro... pra entrar na LFM vc precisa de 7 voltas com media inferior a 105% do tempo recorde da pista. 105% do recorde em brands hatch é 1.26.6, e o melhor que eu to conseguindo fazer é 1.28, e eu to tentando faz dias... ser ruim é triste kkk
@@gustavogoesgomes1863 to com o mesmo problema, Se o teste ainda fosse em Zandvoort eu ja teria passado. Mas eles subiram a dificuldade ao escolher Brands hatch - na minha opiniao - e diminuiram os safety points de licencas novas.

You need to do it in a raw, but you don't need to beat it every lap, only the average time of the 7 laps had to be lower

I want to play this game more but I go from Iracing to ACC and ACC stars hurting my eyes and giving me a headache. I have a pretty high end computer to. 3090 Gpu and Ryzen 5900x cpu.

hmm... do the LFM founders, have some kind of political or religious bias? If true what u say, it will be a wery wery short adventure for me. Nobody is abel to race whitout somtimes beeing an idiot, doing stupid things. In my cultural habitant (denmark) it´s actually ok to call out someone beeing an idiot by what he is! And then that´s it, things are often ok.
If true sounds like you have to behave as LFM is some religious far right or (and just as bad, in my optic) hyper "woke".

Tried this but its impossible to get a good race on ACC. That sim has all the morons. Nothing will ever beat iracing on this.
nice. just what ppl are looking for BUT. ppl like me for EG cant even manage a 1.39.1 around zandvort. I managed a 1.39.7 once. ( yea i no i suck ) lap times are a little bit extreme IMO. just a little. ppl that are new to the game and just learning the car etc cant participate due to not having the speed even if they are clean & respectful on track. i really want to be part of this but. oh well.
