I just got mine exacly a month ago and so far I love it it drives so smooth its a new feeling and I got the underground color LE Hybrid. Thr inside is all blacked out just perfect. I can't wait to start adding rims and other mods. Congratulations!
Very nice video Jay......Thanks for that....I just ordered a 2023 Corolla hybrid LE AWD loaded with everything except the moon roof coming in from Japan and it's supposed to be in around the 19th of this month.....This will be my first Toyota and first hybrid......Going to be sweet to experience the TSS 3.0 coupled with that great gas mileage.
@@sabotagemanni8054 No different than any other vehicle I've owned ..... Then again I'm not anal or picky about such things ..... As of right now I'm absolutely loving the car.
Just got one of these as a rental while my 2019 corolla gets replaced. I had no intention of replacing my 2019 corolla anytime soon but man I absolutely am in love with this car so far. Making me think of trading in my 2019 and purchasing one of these. What is your opinion on the car?
It would have been great if you showed the trip MPG for your trip as many folks are considering this car for it's MPG and want to compare real-world mileage vs EPA mileage. Please consider for future videos. Thanks!
I love corollas! I just wish the instrument cluster gauges were designed more hybrid oriented. Seeing that Rpm gauge going from 3,000Rpm back down to zero and then back up again would drive me nuts. Idk it may just be me. Otherwise I am sure it is solid as a rock and for many years down the road.
I put about 70K miles on a 12 and 15 Prius and routinely got 56 MPG on them, so I'm pretty familiar with the way they operate. Just a couple of questions/comments. It seems like every time the tach goes to zero, the engine is not running and the transitions seem to be virtually seamless. Is this correct? If so, no wonder it gets such great mileage. Second, in the parking lot, when EV mode is noted, does that mean you selected it? Seems the car would automatically go into electric mode as long as there was enough power in the battery and you were driving very slowly through a parking lot.
1.) Yup, when the tach hits zero the engine is off. 2.) The car will infact automatically go into EV mode as long as their is enough charge in the battery and you aren't accelerating to hard or coasting. This can be seen at 7:46.
Surprisingly good! I've never had cloth seats before my 2023 Corolla Hy-LE and I was not expecting the durability, stain resistant and comfortable seating. I don't think I'll ever get leather/pleather seats again!
Wow I didn’t notice that until I saw this video!! I love the blue sm, but the white is nice too. Those are my two fav interior accent colors. I don’t like Nissans orange personally.
To be honest yes the blue is nice i agree but when compared to the white the blue seems more cheaper as more luxury cars use white and makes the car more upscale

how is the handling?
Does that creepy noise they make get annoying?
@@JoshuaOvermanfor you maybe
How has it held up?
@@shawnh.6430 its been good but ive had 3 times where the screen turns off and on for a while. hopefully its still under warranty.
Thank you for a real world nighttime drive, and sound system presentation. -:)
These cars are so much fun to drive
This is a well made video 👏🏾

How is the cabin/road/wind noise?

Great video! Love the Corolla Hybrid :)

LED front turn signals on an LE trim. I am pleasantly surprised!
Yea because it’s the hybrid.

You get around 46-48 mpg driving it aggressive and if you drive conservative over 53 mpg
@@jaygtestdrives Thanks for the reply!
That's pretty cool. Thank you so much for sharing this video.
Is the road noise really that high?
I like watching videos by JayGTestdrives for the first time :)
Thank you so much I appreciate the support!

But its ugly asf its 2023 car way look better than this one kia huynday even the new civic jesus
I agree, very unsettling.
Lmfao deal with it
the Canadian spec has Digital instrument cluster to it
The speaker sound system sounds really good 🤩💯 and are you going to do a 2023 Honda CR-V EX-L or The Sport Touring Hybrid i would love to see that ‼‼
Thanks! If they are available yeah I will!
OP, great video. How tall are you btw?

Hi. Great video. Do the side mirrors fold on the LE in when locking? Thank you. It doesn’t seem they do but I would like some clarification.
Thanks for watching. No they don't fold
Nice. What song did it play?
Is it loud on in the city? How about at speeds on ghe highway? Is it loud there as well?
The horsepower has been updated to 138hp according to the 2023 Toyota Corolla Hybrid build site.
No car does less than 200 hp in 2023 except this ugly shit every car smoked my ass ill get rid of it
3:04 what airport is that?
Do you know if the regular LE 2022 come with DLR?
I wonder the lane keep assist is working in the night time too or not?
It does
What happens when it goes into EV mode? Do you leave your foot on the gas pedal? Is it using gas if you are?
where you located?
How’s the mpg after driving?
Does anyone know how to disconnect or cancel out that loud annoying artificial humming sound that kicks on at 23 mph and under?
How many miles can you go on EV mode alone?
trust me it does not sound bad.
Does anyone know why the lead of the gas tank say E85? Does it use that gas?
the speedo meter and the rpm looks very old school...
How is the streering on these?
It's very light and smooth
What was your fuel economy like?
Around 48 mpg but I was driving it aggressive, you can get well over 55 mpg if your conservative
@@jaygtestdrives that’s nice to know.
Yeah I can see that
See what?
The shorts of the Corolla LE hybrid
How’s the quality of the cloth seats?
The quality is good

My brother got one of these for his birthday. He got up to 145 mph!
wuttt
Look like head light not too bright feel cant see at front

30,000 × your home currency that for the 2024 AWD with convenient pkg with all fees
I though all 2023 models would come with the 2.0 instead of the 1.8
The Hybrids come with 1.8 and have much lower BHP than gas trim which has a 2 liter
seems like a really bumpy and loud ride 😬
No its not, its the total opposite of that
Why does nobody complain about the giant shadows on the left side with these new cars it's absolutely garbage
Wow no more blue backlighting at night🥲😭😭
